A starry summer night and a desire for a wild journey/adventure (my exams were going on then so I was in no mood for anything mundane) were honestly what drove me to write Chains Made Of Stars! Another thing that really inspired me was this book on constellations that my mum had got (she loves stargazing). I remember flipping through it and becoming absolutely entranced by those mysterious patterns in the sky. I found myself wondering what would happen if they were real, and one thing led to another lol
Planning and continuity! I had writer's block frequently, and it was difficult to pull myself out of that sort of writing slump and progress with the story. Some days I wasn't even sure of where I wanted the story to go, and I certainly didn't have the time to sit down and hash everything out chapter-by-chapter. Now I've got a plan, which is why CMoS is on hiatus, and I'm actually taking the time to work out the deets.

Super encouraging! I couldn't have written as much as I did without the support of this lovely community! I loved interacting with the readers, and their responses were incredible.

Oh, I simply loved writing the descriptions of the Ark. It was hands down my favourite part of the writing process. I knew exactly what I wanted to say and what I wanted the readers to feel about the vast expanses of sky, the countless stars, and the weird, wonderful creatures within. Writing the conversations between the main characters was fun too, because I based some of them off insane conversations I'd actually had with my friends.
5 ?
Standalone! I do love long, drawn out series with lots of worldbuilding but there's something so nice about finishing a standalone with a perfectly satisfying ending (which I hope to have in my own story!)

I would love them to leave my story with a sense of wonder and a dash of wanderlust ;) The messages at the heart of it are friendship (there's not a jot of romance in the book, in case anyone was wondering!) and an appreciation for the weirdness of life and the world, two things which I really hope to bring out!

I'm such a newbie that I don't think it's my place at all to advise anyone else, but if there's one thing I have learnt it's that you should be yourself! Drawing from your own experiences can make a story a lot more authentic, after all. Don't be afraid of doing unconventional, different things and be sure to read a ton!
8 ? Yep! Mith's no-nonsense attitude often clashes with her inner dreamer, which is similar (but not the same!) to conflicts I've faced before. However, she is much braver and more hot tempered than I ever was or will be!

The promise of something different, I hope! I think the highest praise for me is when a reader says they've never read anything like my story before. Also, the adventure unfurls right at the beginning, and I like to think that the antics of certain characters are enough to draw a reader in!

One in the works right now, which I hope to have up in a week or so! It's the zany adventures of a cantankerous old man, his godson, said godson's best friend and their quest to take down a cult hellbent on warping reality for good!

Dungeon Ecologist
When scientists accidentally opened a portal to a different dimension, a being came through: Janus. Janus' coming changed the world. People found themselves developing Classes. Before they knew what was happening, the world was full of warriors, mages, and everything in between. Those who didn't accept Janus as their god soon perished. Over a decade has passed. Basil Thorn, who was 8 years old when Janus came, finds himself graduating from college at the age of 22. Unlike his peers in the Warrior Course, the Mage Course, or any of the other Class Courses, Basil is a part of one of the most important, but at the same time most looked down upon Classes. Basil is a Dungeon Maker.
8 173Rory Richardson: If He Had Lived.
Join Rory on what could have been. Taken tragically from life by sudden infant death syndrome. Join in the reimagining of what his life could have been... With a system forced reset of human civilisation thrown in for good measure. One minute Rory was a college student struggling under pressure, the next he and the entire world find themselves at the mercy of the System. Its sick sense of humour results in Rory and hundreds of others going through the tutorial from hell. Monsters straight out of myth become reality, forcing Rory and the unlucky group to fight if they are to have any chance of survival. Those that overcome the tutorial will be thrust into a totally alien world, where might and magic rule and where humanity is far from the top of the food chain. Join Rory as he comes to grips with his new reality, developing new powers and gaining friends and foes alike. This is my first attempt at writing a story of any kind and is dedicated to Rory who died from SIDS at a far too young an age. This story will contain great adventures, epic battles, good friends and foes alike. I am aiming to create a world that will, in some small measure, hopefully keep his memory alive.

Mana. Magic. These two words have wrought countless stories and legends into existence. From mighty Dragons and world shaking mages, to heroes and holy swords. But there is always a dark side to everything. This is a tale of Gods, sinners, terror and the dark side of even the most holy of things. This world of magic and fantasy isn’t as bright and forgiving as one might hope from the stories of old. I am writing this story as I am in hospital and it is just a hobby but constructive help is always welcome! Oh I am posting on wattpad as well though the chapters on RRL will be updated much more frequently. Also if anyone can make a good cover picture please let me know this picture is so lame I am literally hating yself for using it....
8 128His Heart to Love
"Been about you, since I met you and imma keep it that way"You're special to me. You're the only one who I wouldn't mind losing sleep for, the only one who I can never get tired of talking to, and the only one who crosses my mind constantly throughout the day. You're the only one who can make me smile without trying, bring down my mood without the intention to and affect my emotions with every action of yours. I can't explain with just words how much you mean to me, but you're the only one I'm afraid of losing and the one I want to keep in my life. So, please don't leave me.~April 18, 2021~July 21, 2021Rankings:#4 in mentaldisorder 9/16/2021#6 in highschoolsweethearts 9/16/2021#38 in urban 9/16/2021#14 in blacklove 9/16/2021#5 in angerissues 9/16/2021#12 in urbanromance 9/16/2021#3 in bwbm 9/16/2021#20 in contemporarylit 9/16/2021#29 in urbanstory 9/16/2021#2 in africanamerican 9/16/2021
