What truly inspired me to write the novel was the stereotype that romance is always hearts and flowers. For me, it's not true. The real definition of love goes far beyond that. No relationship sails smooth, no matter how calm the circumstances. There are always issues, some have a few, while the others a lot. That is what I have been trying to portray through that novel, the real definition of love. A lot of drama, complications, heartbreaks, but in the end, love conquers it all.

The part that I currently am struggling with is, what I want it to be. Basically, I am trying to figure out when to bring the hero into the spotlight. At times, when you are trying to portray something from one person's point of view, things don't come out that way. Like, I can be good for one person and bad for the other. So, at times, i just doesn't work out. Overall, it's fine since I have just started with it. So, let's see how far this goes :p

The response that I have received so far is not much, considering that I just published it out of the blue. ;P But I really am thankful to all those who read and will be reading this. After all , who doesn't like being appreciated? For now, what truly matters is that I wrote it and it means a lot (to me at least ).

What I enjoy most is the drama. I literally my favorite part. I have personally never preferred preferred a once upon a time or a happily ever after " . To me, the part where the protagonist is struggling between living or giving up, when the reader is hooked, even if he wants to leave, that matters. And it is exactly what I enjoy writing.

Who knows? As for now, is a stand alone novel. Depends majorly on how I choose to end it.

What I would really like a reader to take away from my story is that no love story is perfect. In fact, nothing and nobody is immaculate in this world. Even Mother Mary wasn't. So we should definitely aim for the moon, but when things get too rough, w should just let it go. Clasping the rope harder than necessary would just strain things. And I would recommend everybody to learn to take stand for yourselves. Nobody can love you if you don't.

I am no professional. So considering the fact that I had zoned out from writing for the past two years, I am in no position to say a lot. But I would just like to say one thing because I have read more than 1000 novels in this phase. The best writer is not the one who writes ineptly. To be honest, no one cares how immaculate is your grammar or how big words you are using. Like I could just use the word "pulchritudinous" instead of calling something beautiful. But what is the point when people don't understand it ?According to me, the best piece of writing is that when you want to read it despite the flaws because the content is what hooks you to it. So focus on the grammar but keep the content light and relatable ;)

The main character Eira and me share a lot of similarities. I won't disclose everything but at some point, she is governed by prejudice. She doesn't realize that she is becoming exactly what she didn't want to be. The same thing happened with me. But better late than never, isn't that what they say ? In fact, writing your own experiences says a lot about you. I helps getting those things off your chest which you had never considered opening up about. Moreover, it governs the choices the character makes at some point.

I guess the first few chapters would draw the readers because the story begins with a fast thriller and just as the reader thinks that things are stabilizing, something new happens, which is considerably worse than the first. But that is the whole point of reading, is it? We all need an escape from reality and books are the best medium. We need to know that we are not the only ones suffering . There are these fictional characters who have more drama than us. Stories can make you smile and cry. Sure, movies are nice but books win. So Yayy!!!

Future projects, yes. I want to try my hands on short stories and many other different genres. But I am solely focused on this one right now and am even busy with my high school. So let's see how far this goes :D

Travels along the Astral Road
The words in these scrolls depict the path of Bai Qi, the greatest scholar of his time after he was forced to leave his life, achievements, and even body behind to save himself. Assuming the persona of Wu Guang, he will have to start his cultivation from zero on the weakest area of the lowest plane possible. How, when, and at what cost he will reach his previous strength? Will he surpass it? Or fall along the way? A mix of XianXia and XuanHuan with slight touches of western fantasy. The first book will center more on explaining qi, cultivation, and other elements of the genres - so if you are searching for some constant battle action, the start may be a bit slow. The second one will go on a probably OP trope, with the MC being simply too good for his environment.Plans are to write at least seven-eight "books" (About 120 chapters per book). Romeo and Juliet
Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare early in his career about two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ultimately reconcile their feuding families. It was among Shakespeare's most popular plays during his lifetime and along with Hamlet, is one of his most frequently performed plays. Today, the title characters are regarded as archetypal young lovers.Cover done by @zuko_42
