Jungkook then stood up from the table to excuse himself. He didn't have it in him to talk any longer and every second he'd look up from his own hands, he'd wish to see Park Jimin there; smiling and approaching him to fix his hands over his face so gently. However, that was no longer reality and that alone left Jungkook wanting to cry over Jimin even if he was right in front of his parents. “I… I don't want to talk about him anymore…” Jungkook uttered and looked up the stairs, longing to enter his old room and throw himself over his bed that was now a guest room; open for him to stay any time he needed to.

The boy made his way to his own room without eating any meals for the day. Only eating small portions of it of course. It worried the Mother once night fell. All Jungkook could remember was arguing with Jimin in the morning and growing sick about the tattoo that took over the skin of his shoulder. Surely, seeing this side of Jungkook left his rich parents worried and saddened by it. They loved Jungkook more than the money they made and just couldn't see how Jungkook chose to refuse dishes of spicy kimchi, hot side-bowl rice, and BBQ pork belly; one of Jungkook's favorite meals. Yet, even if he wanted to eat more of it, his stomach was full with the pain of walking out on Jimin when he said he would never leave him no matter what. Now, choices were made and hearts were sadly broken at the end of the day.

Jungkook laid in his old bed within the vacant room with only the bed and curtains over the windows. The boy let out sighs and hugged his pillow close where he imagined it as Jimin. There was no way he pictured a life without him now, especially since they've been through so much together. As the boy pressed his head against the pillow to sleep, he was soon carried off to sleep while his eyelids closed heavily over his tired eyes. By there, Jeon Jungkook finally fell asleep after his eyes stung with the pain of leaving his mentally unstable ex. Feeling as if something bad must have happened to Jimin because of that.

Eventually, Jungkook began to dream… The boy woke up over Jimin's bed; back in the penthouse. He noticed the veils that fell over the pillars so perfectly as everything else was swallowed by a dark abyss. Just as Jungkook began to look around, he noticed there was someone on the same bed as him.

“Jungkook… Why are you awake at this hour?” Jimin's voice called out as Jungkook brought his attention to the side where his lover laid. There Jimin laid, shirtless as the sheets covered his body so perfectly. “Did my baby boy have a bad dream?” Cooes of the older man speaking to his lover left Jungkook to suddenly hug Jimin in his dream. “A-Ah… You're so clingy today~ what's wrong with you? I'm not going anywhere, my love…”

“J-Jimin…” Jungkook whispered as he hugged his lover tightly and desperately. “Oh Jimin… I missed you… So much…”

“Darling, you've been thinking a little too much…” Jimin whispered and rose his hands up his lover's body into the hug. Jungkook hugged tightly onto Jimin and sobbed into his ex's shoulder in pain. “Don't cry… I'm here…”

“I wish this was real…” Jungkook whispered and right as he kept hugging his lover, the lights of the room lit up and that's when he heard angry panting from outside the veils surrounding the bed. Jungkook rose his eyes up to see Jimin standing there before the bed as he carried a plate and tossed it in the direction of the bed, but missed Jungkook just like the way Jimin did it in the first place.

“Stay.” Jimin's bold and dark voice echoed to the boy as Jungkook was still holding onto the version of Jimin he fell in love with. Becoming a complete stranger to the one that demanded him to stay.

Within seconds, Jungkook woke up in his Mother's arms over his bed while his father was by the door. Jungkook was in tears crying over Jimin in his sleep and woke up screaming for him and that was enough to scare his parents and check up on him. “J-JIMIN…” Jungkook cried and just thought he was holding Jimin close, but it was only his Mother. Jungkook continued to sob while Mrs. Jeon sighed and caressed her son's hair back. At that very moment, Jungkook’s teary eyes met with his father's as he felt a wave of embarrassment from becoming so helpless before Mr. Jeon. The father watched over him as well as the mother until Jungkook was finally calm and all the tears in his eyes, dried.

“I'm… I'm sorry…” Jungkook whispered to his Mother as he cupped his own face in silence and embarrassment. “I think… I think I should go back to my pla-”

“Are you kidding me? You aren't going anywhere… stay here for as long as you want, alright? I don't want you to go until I know you'll smile again.” Those words his Mother assured him, left Jungkook to close his eyes and nod his head even if he still had pain over his eyes from crying all day. “Don't get caught up on him… You stand up again and keep moving. If you hold back, you'll never get far. The world will keep moving without you if you stay in one place. How do you expect to go far at a speed like that?” Mrs. Jeon mentioned and rolled the boy's hair back carefully. “I don't know what Jimin did to you, but I know that it can't be all your fault…”

“Mother-”

“No, I know how you like to take the blame so others wouldn't be punished. Jungkook, don't cry over him… I know that will be difficult, but please don't take the blame. Surely, you couldn't be all to blame, right?”

“Right…” Jungkook answered with the sound of his shaky voice echoing in the hollow room. After, Jungkook fell back asleep this time and didn't have a dream of his ex once more. Inside, he felt empty. He felt lonely without Jimin and for sure, Jimin felt the same. However, the man only masked away his pain to feel better, while Jungkook faced it with his all. On the other hand, facing that pain didn't seem too easy and it worried the ones around him so suddenly. Only then, Jungkook hid his feelings so his parents wouldn't have to suffer from it. The boy was crying over his heartbreak when he realized it was still shattered after so long. His mind would always seem to travel back onto the thought and it left Jungkook constantly exhausted. At times, Jungkook just rather hoped Jimin loved him enough to abandon the whole underground business… But then again, Jimin was from a different world now.

By the very next morning, Jungkook walked out of his room with the same clothes he wallowed around in the day before. As the boy walked to the living room, he was suddenly stopped by his Father who was already wearing his formal attire before going to work at the hospital; since he was a doctor himself.

“Good morning, Jungkook… Are you doing okay? I want you to be able to talk to me… it's okay if a man like you faces issues like these.” Mr. Jeon assured the boy as Jungkook slowly rose his hollow gaze up to his father and pulled a fake smile that did not go unnoticed by his Father. “Stop smiling like that to make me feel better.”

“I think… I'll be better today. I guess letting those tears out last night and thinking to myself, really must have helped me. I feel okay right now.” Jungkook told his Father and nodded his head before looking at the kitchen. “I'll only do my classes here for the day and I'll go back to my place-”

“Ah, Jungkook stop acting like a stranger! We're your parents. Stay here forever if you have to! We're here for you. There's always an extra room for you so you wouldn't have to go back to that apartment every day! Why don't you… live with us? We don't have to worry about you leaving everytime you come to visit.”

“I'll think about it. Thank you again, Father…” Jungkook added. Right after, he felt his Father's hand drop over his shoulder to pay softly as the boy smiled to himself. He didn't have Jimin, but he had his family to keep him happy for those solid hours he had away from Park Jimin. Jungkook felt better after missing Jimin all day yesterday and of course, he was never able to move on. Jeon Jungkook still loved Jimin and would look back at how they hugged and kissed over those bittersweet moments. He never thought it would ever be easy to let go of the one he loved, and he wasn't planning on letting go of Jimin from his heart. Deep down, Jungkook was in love with Park Jimin even if he was the one who walked out that morning; Jungkook still had hope for something that became unattainable.

As the day stretched further into the afternoon, Jungkook was done with his studies and college work over the computer at his parents house. Jungkook stood up and glanced at the time that shined 5:01 PM, right above a picture he still kept of him and Jimin. He just didn't have the heart to change the lockscreen so suddenly. “I need to go home…” Jungkook mentioned as he stretched and walked out of his father's office. “Mother, I'm going home for the day… I'll be sure to cook dinner for myself as well.” Jungkook assured. Today, he was able to eat a little more compared to the day before. Knowing he couldn't starve in front of his own Mother.

“Alright. I can't force you to stay.” Stated Mrs. Jeon as she then approached the boy at the hall where he just left the office. Mrs. Jeon wore loose and pale Mint-green bottoms and a yellow blouse along with her white house slides. She pushed the glasses over her eyes and carried a book in her arms as she then set it down to hug her son close. “Come back soon, okay? Those men were able to redecorate your place and set in all the furniture so you wouldn't have to. Don't forget to take care… if you don't have it in you to cook, I'll come running to you!” Jungkook's Mother claimed. The younger smiled sweetly and hugged his loving Mother back.

“Of course I'll come back… Thank you for everything. I'll be back again soon, I promise.” Jungkook told his mother before hugging her once more. After, Jungkook was finally out of the house, he still walked down the same streets to his apartment with the pajamas he wore from yesterday morning when he stayed with Jimin. “Ah, I need to change out of these clothes…” Jungkook thought as he carried his phone along the way. His trip back to the apartment gave him nostalgic memories of when he was walking home from university at night. That's when he was followed by one of Jimin's workers so he could be watched over. Even then, the scar underneath his tattoo where Jimin sewed his wound shut, gave him chills to this day.

Eventually, Jungkook soon reached the building as he climbed the steps to the stairs where he gazed at the entrance. Remembering his first kiss with Jimin as he watched it unfold in his memories. The thought made Jungkook let out a soft scoff that faded into a blush. Recalling the time he was truly happy, was his only source of medicine to his broken heart. Jungkook then reached the door and as soon as he placed his hands over the knob, he easily turned it open and realized that the men his parents hired to move his furniture in, left his door open… Or did they?

“Those idiots-” Unexpectedly, Jungkook received a message from Jimin and this left the boy to glance over his lockscreen in fear. It was an audio and Jungkook rather hoped to hear Jimin telling him he loved him… But it was the complete opposite. Jungkook stepped into his apartment, unaware of what laid ahead as he switched on the lights and locked the door behind him. Looking around the neatly placed furniture… Oddly how he had it before as if the workers knew exactly where to put the furniture… Strange; wasn't it?

Jungkook gulped. Carefully pressing the play button to hear what Jimin sent him right as he pressed his body against the locked door.

Come find me… I won't bite, I promise~”
