Jungkook noticed the similar handwriting and dropped onto the floor while he gripped tightly onto the two notes. “J-Jimin… what is he playing at?” Jungkook huffed to himself and continued to look into his hands where the notes still caught his attention. Jeon Jungkook held his breath for a brief second and exhaled as if he swam out of cold water that kept his breath in. However, comparing the notes once more, made him feel like the current had a hold on him underwater. This was something he couldn't swim away from now.

“M-Maybe… Maybe Jimin didn't want me to worry about the bag since he had no idea about it… Right?” Jungkook tried to swim to shore with this dragging him down like he was chained to an anchor, but there was no hope; nothing made sense if he tried to make up an excuse. Jungkook then heard the elevator chime and this caused the boy to flinch and hide the notes up the sleeves of his robe. Until then, he wanted to make sure he found out a little more about Jimin before jumping to conclusions.

“Doll, what are you doing in your bathrobe? You've been in the shower for quite some time. I'm a little worried that you won't get enough sleep. Ah- are you hungry? I almost forgot.” Jimin began to speak. Right when he approached the boy, he instantly noted how Jungkook took a step aside and placed his hands behind his back in silence. “Answer me…”

“I… I'm a little hungry… And later I was thinking we should watch something, and sleep in bed together. L-Like we've done before.” Jungkook unexpectedly stuttered and that's when Jimin's smile fell the second time around this late at night. Once Jungkook slipped up on his words, he noticed Jimin's faded smile that sent shivers down his smile at the reaction; that cold reaction itself left Jungkook looking down innocently. Seconds of silence followed after and to Jungkook, he felt his palms grow sweaty from making Jimin react that way.

“...I'd love that…” Jimin replied. Walking up to the boy before dropping his hands over Jungkook's shoulders and bestowing a peck over the younger's forehead. “If you want, order yourself anything… I have late work.” Jimin added and right when he began to walk off Jungkook desperately turned around to get his boyfriend's attention.

“I was thinking if we could… Cook together? We can spend so much time making food and helping each other out with homemade meals. I don't know when was the last time I had that since the breakfast you made for me the other day.” Jungkook continued and with that, it was enough to make Jimin put on a smile of his many faces as he looked back at Jungkook once more. “Please…?”

“Alright. Go put some clothes on first, Jungkook. You don't want to distract me.” Jimin chuckled and began to walk over to his office room so he could wait until Jungkook was done. As soon as Jimin left the room, Jungkook felt like he could breathe. The boy exhaled. Taking the notes out from his sleeves and covered his face exactly after.

“I… just need to talk to him. It won't be that big of a deal, right? Why do I feel so scared?” Jungkook questioned himself. The boy felt as if many things piled over his own chest and restricted him from breathing during the whole moment he spent talking to Jimin. Only now, he was too afraid to cook with the older. But, he knew it was for the best. “I'll slowly bring it up and then nothing bad will happen… Right? Jimin loves me..” Jungkook assured himself endlessly and took gentle inhales and exhales before reaching Jimin's room to change.

Meanwhile, Jimin sat in his office as he had his hands over the lid of the prescription pills and his other hand carrying the bottle. “I need to get another. This won't carry me out a week with Jungkook. If I don't get any more to keep me sane, I'll really hurt him and make him leave me.” Jimin whispered as he closed the lid over the bottle, knowing that there wasn't any pills for him to take for the night. Jimin cupped his own face and started to breathe heavily to himself. “Just… Just keep it down and he won't get hurt… in the morning, I'll get more. Pull yourself together, you still need to cook with Jungkook.” Jimin's own voice assisted him and assured him things will be alright, while the other voices in his head denied him willing to be stable around the boy.

When Jimin finally pulled himself together, his lack of medications began to show. He had a blank look over his face and his smile seemed to fade without the relief of his medications keeping him sane. He was silent as he stepped out of the office room and made his way to the kitchen; losing interest on wanting to cook. “I can do this…” Jimin thought and as he took out the ingredients, he heard Jungkook call to him; making him flinch and look off to the side where no one stood. “Not there…” Jimin assured himself as he then set out the ingredients. Trying to pull himself together before Jungkook was to walk into the kitchen. Jimin set out the meat for a steak, vegetables to steam, rice to wash and cook. As soon as he set everything out, Jimin was staring at the sink while his eyes slowly fixed over a knife in the knife block before he felt arms hug him from the back so suddenly.

Jimin felt the grip around his body and this caused him to flinch and grip onto the hands around him. However, once he looked back, Jimin noticed it was just Jungkook. “You didn't call me?”

“Why would I call you? You're right here!” Jungkook giggled cutely and hugged Jimin once more. The boy of course, felt uneasy; hugging Jimin when he should be asking him many things as to why he lied about giving him a bag of his breakfast and what did this have to do with Hoseok's note. It worried the boy, but he sealed everything behind a smile that still showed how much he loved his Park Jimin. “Why are we going to make a big dinner? We still need to sleep after. It's only twelve right now.” Jungkook laughed as he looked at the ingredients Jimin set out.

“You didn't eat all day, you expect me to let you eat cereal and call it a night?” Jimin asked and slid his hands down to hold onto Jungkook's waist. “Not a chance…” Jungkook noted Jimin's lack of smiling at the moment and couldn't tell if he was joking or being kind. The way Jimin spoke his words with no smile, seemed different.

“Are you okay?” Jungkook suddenly asked and cupped Jimin's face before seeing Jimin turn his face away and release Jungkook's waist. His eyes focused onto the ingredients and began to set the packaged meat into the sink where he poured hot water over it so it can defrost. “Jimin… Did I do something wrong? You're acting so different after I asked you about the bag and-”

“Sweetie, it's nothing. Let's focus on cooking and getting this out of the way.” Jimin mentioned as Jungkook kept looking at the man for a moment. The boy noted that Jimin knew something and didn't need to talk any further to point it out. Jungkook picked up the thought and couldn't focus without pointing it out. But, before, Jungkook could say anything about it, Jimin began to change the conversation.

“If you live with me now and forever… You wouldn't have to stress about cooking homemade food. I'll cook with you as long as you want me to.” Jimin claimed and looked back at the boy before setting the vegetables out to rinse. “Is that what you want? For us to be together?”

“Of course I do! But… I just… Have something to talk about first…” Jungkook mentioned as Jimin cut off the sink and slowly fixed his eyes over at Jungkook and tilted his head. The sign of Jimin's smile being absent from the man's face left Jungkook nervously tapping his index fingers together. “Can we talk… Now?”

“Anything for you, my love.” Jimin answered and began to wash the knife to cut the carrots and vegetables before he set them to steam in a pot. But as Jungkook watched Jimin avoid eye contact, Jungkook sighed and observed Jimin longer. “Tell me.”

“You… Didn't bring me that bag in the morning, didn't you?” Jungkook asked. That's when Jimin resumed washing the knife and once he was done, the silence of the sink cutting off; frightened Jeon Jungkook instantly. “Just tell me the truth… You're scaring me…”

“What if I didn't?”

“Then who did? Jimin… I don't know what's going on between us right now. It's like there are things you still hide from me like, why do you still take prescriptions? What type of company do you work for? I can't stand here and not know anything about you. These are important.”

“Learning about what I have is personal…” Jimin told the boy and gripped onto the handle of the knife. “I just don't want to scare you away…” Jungkook finally heard Jimin confess there was something more to him that would make Jungkook afraid. The younger worried about what Jimin meant; but now, he wasn't going to step back to question it further.

“Tell me… Tell me, I won't leave you…” Jungkook whispered and slowly fixed his hands over his lover's chest to look him in the eyes; not wanting Jimin to carry the knife even further. “I had to push away so many things and people to get to you… even Yoongi; my only best friend.”

“I just wanted you to be alone. You're under my watch, aren't you?” Jimin asked and that's when he dropped the knife and dried his hands. “I won't let you go; but telling you everything, scares me more than it will ever scare you…” Jimin then dried his hands and turned his body to face Jungkook. “Do you want to know what's wrong with me?”

“If you can't tell me anything else… Tell me only that and we'll work from it. I won't give up on you, Jimin. I swea-”

“Schizophrenia…” Jimin confessed and silenced the boy right after. “That's what I have…” After Jimin confessed, he scoffed and looked down at the packaged meat that was right in the middle of defrosting. “And I… ran out of my medication so, I have to visit the pharmacy for that.” Jimin spoke into a soft and fragile tone to his deep voice. The hard truth left Jungkook staring at Jimin's emotionless face until he heard Jimin speak again. “I'm not sane or tamed… I might hurt you even when I don't try to. If you want to leave me before I hurt you, please leave now. This is the only opening I'm giving you before you get trapped with a crazy and complicated guy like me.”

Jungkook was silent. He was able to see through Jimin's wounds and find a true heart beating under a shield of stone. This wasn't enough to make Jungkook run; but it was enough to make him stay, love Jimin, and show him that he wasn't like those others who left the strict businessman on his own. Jungkook could only imagine the many scars that tainted Jimin's heart and teared up with the thought. “I'm never going to leave you… Whoever left you after all of this, never loved you as much as I do now.” Jungkook replied and hugged Jimin in his arms. “You've suffered for far too long.”

“...Why did I have to wait so long for you?” Jimin whispered to the boy's ear with his eyes closed shut and a blank emotion plastered over his face. Not wanting to smile or cry at all. He was still as a cold stone. Jungkook however, was in tears hearing how people shoved Jimin out of their lives from having a mental disorder up until the point where Jimin believed he was an issue. Jungkook couldn't seem to understand that why this seemed to be another dark secret from his lover. But of course, that wasn't the big piece of the puzzle just yet. As Jungkook still clung onto his lover, Jimin opened his eyes and smiled before finally gripping his arms around Jungkook's body and hugging his torso against his. “You chose to stay… Now I'll never let you go. Even if you try to.”

“Why would I? You're just as normal as anyone else…” Jungkook spoke blindly. Not knowing that Jimin hid more things aside from his disorder. Alas, these were only the little things until Jungkook was to figure out more. However, this still didn't answer his question about the similar notes and for sure, Jungkook wasn't going to silence himself about it. Even if Jimin confessed what he had, Jungkook wasn't going to let that distract himself from the real questions.
