Jungkook felt his heart pound louder and louder each time Hoseok's eyes guided along the younger boy's innocent face. The man carried a weapon in his gloved hands and his smile never seemed to fade away each second his eyes gleamed into focus. There was the same scar over his face since the last time Jungkook met eyes with the older just beyond the window of the bus that day. The boy didn't know what to think now; Hoseok was standing there with his usual smile and carried the knife in his hands to scare the boy into giving him what he really wanted. But, what did this man need?

The younger intern wasn't going to wait and see what was going to happen to himself so, Jungkook quickly pushed his legs to turn around and make a break to the door of the restroom, but before he could touch the doorknob, he felt something flick his hair, followed by a thud hitting the door of the restroom. Jungkook stopped in his tracks and looked up to see the knife against the door since Hoseok threw it to stop Jungkook from leaving.

“Hey! I didn't say you can get a head start!” Laughed the older as he walked behind Jungkook and dropped his arm over the younger's shoulder to still hold his smile right after. “Why are you shaking? You look like I just slipped cold water down your back!” Jung Hoseok continued to tease and make jokes on Jungkook, while the boy stood there and kept his head down. Even his mind and thoughts were silent as his pounding heart echoed in his head. “Why are you quiet? You don't want to be my friend? Oh and you're not even smiling… Smile! It's the best medicine.” Hoseok assured and kept staring at Jungkook before backing up and going to the door to retrieve the knife. “You're so stubborn, Jeon Jungkook…”

Jungkook remembered the day he and Yoongi went up to the officer, so the older was able to remember Jungkook's name after all this time. “L-Leave… Leave me alone…”

“Leave you alone?! Why? That's silly!” Hoseok continued to laugh as he walked over to the boy's arm and pulled it up to know that underneath was the tattoo Jungkook hid. “You're famous! Wanted by the big man himself!” Hoseok continued to speak to Jungkook but the boy picked this up as missing puzzle pieces.

“B-Big man?” Jungkook asked and nearly teared up from the scary thought. “W-Wanted?”

“Let's play a game, I'm bored! How about another riddle?” Asked Hoseok as Jungkook was starting to struggle and try to free himself from the older.

“N-No! NO STOP IT, LET ME GO!” Jungkook screamed and that only made Hoseok suddenly pull him in closer and hold the knife against his throat. Only now, Jungkook had no escape.

“A flower, torn from the earth’s soil. It was all it ever knew. Soon it was picked and kept in a vase forever…the flower is taken everywhere by it's Gardener but the only thing it can't have what it had before is...what?” Hoseok spoke into a riddle as Jungkook was letting out soft huffs in fear as he felt the cold iron of the knife just press against his Adam's apple. “...What's the answer, thirteen?”

“L-LET ME GO! PLEASE!” Jungkook sobbed as Hoseok removed the knife from Jungkook's neck. Hoseok then shoved the boy forward and onto the floor, leaving him to pant and glance back at the creepy man still hold his smile. The man stood behind Jungkook and looked at the watch over his gloved wrist, waiting for a certain time to strike.

“The clock is ticking… It keeps ticking and ticking… I'll give you a head start before we start our new game of tag! Shhh, but I won't tell you what will happen if I get to you first~” Jung Hoseok whispered into a sly tone as he tossed the knife around in his hands. Not caring if he got a cut over his black, latex gloves. “Wanna play?~”

Jungkook didn't think twice before he stood up and ran out the doors to the restroom. All he could think of for that second was to free himself from the man he believed was the black figure that used to stalk him. Just as the boy made it out into the hallway, lights hanging from the ceilings switched off and left Jungkook running out of the dark abyss of the halls. He could see the exit just far up ahead and this was enough to leave him pushing himself to run further. On the other hand, as he made his way to the center, he heard Jung Hoseok's laugh almost as if he was seconds behind him.

“The flower falls into the soil of it's gardener, not knowing that it will be fed with poison or water for the next years of its life! It's stuck onto the ground and can't escape him now, how does that make the flower feel?! Safe or weak?! Will the water or poison keep the flower alive, or kill it before it could even go on any further?” Hoseok shouted and stopped running to see Jungkook finally racing out of the exit and leaving Hoseok behind. Rain fell from the sky and onto Jungkook’s dry hair as he ran with all he could. Those words stuck and rang inside Jungkook's mind until he made it out and looked back to see Hoseok gone! The man was no longer within the lobby nor the entrance of the hospital. It was like he was there for one second, and vanished by the next. Jungkook couldn't find the man, not even though the glassed windows of the hospital.

Jungkook kept running until he turned his head to see a car suddenly coming to a stop with the headlights flashing in his eyes. Right as Jungkook instantly stopped, his hands slammed onto the hood of the car as it came to a stop right before him. The tires screeched and the rain poured harder than it could before. Jungkook was already drenched and turned pale after fearing that he would get hit by a car. He hoped it was a kind elder who would help him, but just then, he got someone way more better. The driver's side of the car pulled open and there Jimin popped his head out from the side.

“Jimin…” Jungkook whispered as the rain slid down his face and dripped from his chin while he looked at the person he wanted after such a scary thing that happened to him at the hospital. “JIMIN!” Jungkook cried out and rushed over to Jimin's side of the car and into his arms. There, the two stood in the rain as Jungkook desperately clung onto his puzzled lover.

“Jungkook… What are you doing out here in the rain, baby? I almost hit you! You need to watch where you're going! What would have happened if I didn't stop?!” Jimin scolded the boy. But, Jungkook just didn't care enough to answer. The boy's mind was out of place and he couldn't focus at all to even form a sentence. However, all he could do was cry and hug Jimin closer in the rain. “Jungkook… What's wrong with you? You just need to be careful that's all..”

“T-That's not it! Jimin…” Jungkook sobbed against Jimin's wet, black, business coat, and looked up at his lover despite the rain meeting their faces in sync. “Jimin… T-Take me out of here.. I don't want to be here anymore! I want to be safe… Safe in your arms.” Jungkook whispered to Jimin and began to tremble of the fear and the cold rain that sank through the fabric of his clothing.

“Jungkook, what are you talking about? You're getting me worried…”

“I’m not safe here! I don't want to stay here any longer… I want… I want to travel with you..” Jungkook managed to utter as Jimin felt Jungkook glued onto his body like a moth to a flame. “J-Just get me out of here, Jimin… My everything…” Jungkook weeped as Jimin didn't hug the boy back, but smiled and slowly guided his hand along Jungkook's wet hair to throw it back and see more of his precious face against the rain. Jimin positioned the boy's face to his and kissed him in the rain to assure him he'll be alright in Jimin's arms. At least, that's how Jungkook interpreted the action.

“I'll keep you safe.” Jimin told the boy and smiled at him right after. “Let's get out of the rain, I'm taking you to stay the night at my place.” Jimin assured the boy and walked him to the passengers seat. Something didn't seem to add up in his head, Hoseok didn't chase him outside the hospital and remained there like he was glued to that place. It made a shiver run down Jungkook's spine once he sat in the car and eyed the building. Jimin then closed the door and left the boy inside his car until he joined him in the driver's side. “I'll heat up the car. Take that wet coat off.” Jimin instructed Jungkook as the boy took his white coat off from work and leaned back against the seat to hug himself. There, Jimin turned on the heater and reached behind him to grab a towel he unexpectedly had folded over the backseat.

“Here, warm yourself up. I needed an extra towel. I'm glad I bought it on my way to pick you up.” Jimin told the boy and cleared all questions from Jungkook's mind instantly. As Jimin began to drive, Jungkook wrapped himself up in the warm towel and sat in the perfectly heated car with Jimin constantly observing him in concern. The boy was silent and this seemed to bother Jimin the most. “Doll… Talk to me. Why are you quiet? I want to hear your voice. What happened to my Jungkook?” Jimin asked. Keeping one hand on the steering wheel, his focus onto the road before him, while his right hand fixed onto Jungkook's face to caress with the back of his hands and fingers.

“I-I don't… I don't want to talk about it.” Jungkook whispered as Jimin stopped caressing the boy's face and fixed his hands onto the steering wheel right after, gripping onto it as he focused his emotionless stare onto the road. Jungkook noticed Jimin wanted to know and it bothered him that the boy wouldn't say. Jungkook just thought about how much questions he had to bear when Jimin wouldn't tell him about what made him take prescriptions. The boy waited for another red light and once they came around to one, he climbed over to Jimin's side and crawled on him; sitting on his lap in the driver's seat and facing the man. This still gave Jimin access to see and be able to drive with Jungkook in his arms.

Jungkook pressed his face lower against Jimin's chest so the man could see and his legs were tented over Jimin's lap. Still allowing him to use his foot to hit breaks or drive. Jimin looked down to see Jungkook close his eyes against his drenched chest in silence and just knew that Jungkook didn't mean to upset his lover. “Jimin…?”

“Yes, Doll?” Jimin asked and felt the boy wrap his arms around his boyfriend like always.

“I can talk about it with you later… Can I?” Jungkook whispered and felt Jimin nod his head carefully. “I just missed you so much… Please keep me safe… I was so scared.” Jungkook whispered helplessly to his boyfriend and Jimin remained silent. The lights turned green at that moment so, he just continued driving.

“I'll always keep you safe. Even if it's the last thing I do. I promised you and I keep my promises, my love.” Jimin confirmed the boy. Giving Jungkook a peck on his head before paying attention to the road with a devilish smirk. “I won't let anyone lay a finger on you…”
