《Uninvited | Jikook Smut |》Chapter 19: Candlelight

“J-Jimin…” Jungkook sputtered and suddenly got up before feeling dizzy at that moment. With that, Jimin reached over the desk and held Jungkook's wrist to keep him from falling back. Jungkook's eyes fell onto Jimin's soft hand locked onto his as he then watched Jimin pull his hand away and shove it into his pocket after. “It really is you!” Jungkook then stepped out of the front desk and rushed up to see Jimin up close before hugging him so suddenly. “I missed you… S-So much… you left without another word and I… I never thought I'd see you again!” Jungkook blurted out so happily and kept hugging Jimin while, the older didn't seem to hug the boy back. The man just stood there with his hands up like he was some bomb that was about to go off at any minute.
“I missed you too…” Jimin answered and made Jungkook pull away from the awkward hug instantly to look at the older. “I was on my way here to see a patient. He's one of my co-workers at my workplace.” Jimin assured as the boy was lost in the gleam of Jimin's eyes; those eyes that flashed like paparazzi or fireflies that filled up the night skies. Jungkook had to keep fixing his own glasses to pay attention; but when he did, he felt himself getting lost again. In Jungkook's little world, he loved getting lost at such a sight like this because, it gave the boy more time to observe the view and try to figure out how priceless the art before him, truly was. “But, I guess he can wait…” Jimin added onto it and tilted his head. “What are you doing here, Jungkook?”
“I have an internship! O-Oh it's so great to see you again! I didn't think I'd ever see you again… Jimin, you left me to stress about my college work all alone.” The young student told the older as Jimin's smile surfaced once more.
“Sorry about all of that… I had… Business to attend to. But we can resume while I'm here.” Jimin replied and scanned his eyes up and down Jungkook's body. “Keep your posture up, Jungkook. That bothers me.” Jimin claimed as Jungkook stood straight and couldn't dare to keep his eyes locked onto Jimin's daring gaze. “You're so happy to see me…”
“I-I am! There's so much to talk about, Jimin. But, I have to stay here until thirty more minutes.” Jungkook stated and looked at the digital clock by the front desk. “Can you wait for me until I'm free? I want to talk to you. It's been so long!”
“Alright then, I'll wait for you. Maybe after, we can go out and eat.” Jimin suggested and leaned over the front desk. “Just you and me, a date. Do you want to go out with me? I'll be paying of course.” Jimin asked and every word that uttered out Jimin's mouth was like it sent Jungkook into a trance. His voice was gentle, soft, and caring to the boy, Jungkook overlooked many things. He was blinded by Jimin that he didn't care to ask what co-worker was within the hospital or how he recognized the boy as he spun in the chair so quickly. Of course, Jungkook just thought Jimin was there because of a coincidence and guessed well once he found the boy spinning around in a chair so carelessly.

“A date? Yes! Oh I would love to! I haven't eaten anything but a smoothie and seaweed chips.” Jungkook answered and that made Jimin laugh instantly.
“You need to eat something, Jungkook. I'll let you order whatever you want when we get there. Until then… I'll just go to visit a friend. Can you sign me in?” Jimin asked as Jungkook dashed over to the back of the front desk as he looked up at Jimin's chest slowly.
“Visiting who?”
“Kim Leesung.” Jimin answered as he kept his stare locked onto the boy the whole time Jungkook typed down the colleague's name and set in the room number Jimin's coworker was in. After that, Jungkook finally directed his gaze over to the man and pointed to the small camera above the computer.
“Look into the camera.” Jungkook instructed and after that, Jimin's stare focused onto the lens where his eyes only deepened into the camera. He didn't smile at all and it felt like he was looking through the lenses and staring at Jungkook through the screen where his picture was to be taken. “Do you want to smile for me, Mr. Park?”
Jimin's lips then curved into an adoring smile that made Jungkook blush as he captured the picture for the sticker ID. After, Jungkook printed it and removed the wax paper behind the sticker, and leaned over to set it on Jimin's left side of his own chest. Jungkook's hand felt the firm muscles of Jimin's torso for that split second when he set the sticker over his own dress shirt. Right when Jungkook pulled away, the older kept his eyes glued onto Jungkook each second. Never thinking of pulling his gaze away. It felt like a dream to Jungkook, seeing Jimin before him for the first time and focusing his attention all on the boy. All the attention Jimin gave the young student, made him feel safe, assured, and warm.
“I won't take long, Jungkook.” Jimin answered and looked down at the sticker to check the room number once more. In seconds, he was gone and this left Jungkook to keep his eyes locked onto the older man until he made his way up the stairs.
There, Jungkook was alone and he just couldn't believe Jimin was here! His heart didn't pound so much before and his face hasn't turned red after the last time he talked to Jimin. Jungkook knew that now, he was falling in love with his friend, he knew so much about him before. How they loved many things in common and how important Jimin made the older feel after all this time. Now that Jimin was here, Jungkook wasn't going to let Jimin go for the second time.
It wasn't until after a good twenty minutes, Jimin walked down the stairs and noticed Jungkook had his eyes stuck onto the last step; hoping Jimin would come back sooner. As the older reached the bottom of the steps, his eyes looked ahead to catch Jungkook in his stare. “You like what you see, Jungkook?~” Jimin teased as Jungkook was overwhelmed with his heart pounding, he grew silent and didn't answer. “I asked you a question, Jungkook.” The man uttered and walked forward to meet him at the front desk.
“N-No…”
“I don't like liars, Jungkook.” Jimin continued to tease the boy until he planted his elbows over the table and tilted his own head. “Don't you think liars should be punished…?”

“OH GOD, WHAT IS HE PUTTING INTO MY DIRTY MIND?!” Jungkook yelled in his own head as his face was still tinted red. “No…” He responded softly and this made Jimin smile so charmingly.
“Your face is so red, what are you hiding from me, Jungkook?~” Jimin's voice hit a soft and deep tone to the young college student's ear, it caused another shiver to rush down his spine; but this was something Jungkook loved in a good way.
“I'm just… Excited to see you for the first time in person. Are you excited to see me, Mr. Park?” Jungkook asked and shyly tapped his fingers against the counter of the front desk.
“Of course I am. Also, ‘Mr. Park’… You called me ‘Jimin’ before. Just call me by my name, Jungkook. It's not that hard, boy.” Jimin assured after turning around and walking over to the bench right against the white walls of the hospital lobby. “Do you still want me as your tutor, Jungkook?”
“I still need a tutor, so… can you be my tutor again?” Jungkook asked as Jimin leaned back against the couch and kept his elbows over the armrests, his legs crossed over the other and posture still held straight. “Y-You don't have to if you don't want to…”
“Oh I want to, Jungkook. Trust me, I do…” Jimin stated. “But I'm not sure if I can give you all of my attention just yet. With all of my travels and business work, that I can't promise at the moment.”
“I understand…” Jungkook replied and looked down. “So that means… You're not here to stay?”
“Boy, I didn't say that. I love it when people jump to conclusions.” Jimin spoke sarcastically while staring at Jungkook. “I'm here to stay for now… I've just been moved from Japan to stay here. Ah, it feels good to be home, though.” The man then stood up and stretched before glancing at the time. “Time is almost up, I'll drive us to eat at a restaurant.”
“Restaurants aren't mandatory, Jimin! I'm fine with fast food places, I-”
“Haha, cute. I'm driving, I'm paying and if I want an expensive restaurant to feed you then, I will choose it. Ah, you look so cute when you get nervous. Trying to be humble.” Jimin then adjusted the tie from around his own collar while he placed his coat on. “This is a date, Jungkook. What don't you understand about a date? I want to take you out, you stubborn Jungkook.~” Jimin laughed as Jungkook threw his gaze down with his face turning red. “You're something else, Jeon Jungkook~”
After the final ten minutes were up, Jungkook set his white coat away and walked out of the hospital building with Jimin following behind him. Jungkook grew silent as Jimin walked behind him and faded every step he took, into Jungkook's. Therefore, it was difficult to tell if he was following. As Jungkook walked forward, Jimin's eyes scanned down the back of the younger boy and licked his lips seductively after. Just as Jungkook kept walking down the sidewalk. Jimin stopped and the headlights of his own car flashed. Making Jungkook look back to see Jimin standing there with a smirk; keeping one hand in a pocket as the other holding the keys of the car.
The car that flashed the headlights was a white 2018 Genesis G70 car that was freshly coated with white paint and the wax was covered over the car so carefully. Even the wheels of the car gleamed along with the headlights. “Don't just stand there, Jungkook. We have a date to attend.” Jimin then fixed the cuffs of his coat and walked over to the car before unlocking the doors. Jungkook then approached the passengers seat and opened the door before stepping inside. He was impressed by Jimin, but showing off cars and expensive dates wasn't what Jungkook loved Jimin for. Jeon Jungkook wanted Jimin for how perfect he was, how gentle his ways were, and the way the two talked over the week they were friends before. All those things came rushing back to Jungkook and that was the only thing that made him blush; not the other things that would easily impress anyone else like cars or the amount of money Jimin must have.
“You look uncomfortable… Am I making you uncomfortable?” Jimin asked and let out a scoffed chuckle once he took his sticker ID off and attached it to a wall inside a small cabinet within the dashboard.
“No… I just wonder.. What type of job do you have to get such a car like this? S-Sorry if this makes you upset, I'm just-”
“Oh you college students ask a lot of questions.” Jimin laughed. Taking a glance at the young man after. “I already told you, I work in a company. That's all that needs to be said.” As soon as Jimin said those words Jungkook only wondered what type of company Jimin worked in, but he realized he shouldn't push the question onto Jimin too much. Soon, they arrived to an elegant restaurant where the table cloths on every table was white, candlelights sat at the center of the table and the long books of the menus were a red leather at the cover. The room was dimmed with calming music being played by a pianist by the black, glistening, grand piano.
As they were seated in a place more private, Jungkook was busy looking around as Jimin sat with his elbows planted over the table and his hands were held up against his face. The man observed Jeon Jungkook and it was a stare as if he was trying to know what the boy thought in his own world. Jungkook was oblivious and tonight, he looked even more beautiful in person as he looked around the elegant restaurant excitedly.
It was like Jimin brought a perfect boy with him to a restaurant for a date; surely Jimin had dates before… But no one was like Jungkook. Jungkook took a moment to observe, appreciate, and walk down the path of gold slowly instead of rushing in. With this, it showed that the gleam in Jungkook's eyes at every turn it fixed over, was much more brighter than any candlelight before them; a candlelight Jimin grew to love that very night.
