《Uninvited | Jikook Smut |》Chapter 8: Coffee

As Jungkook sat in Yoongi's car, Jungkook kept his eyes locked to the back where the park was. However, he still didn't see Jimin at all. He was desperate and happy to see the young man in person, but he wasn't there from the start. “I thought I saw him… But he's in Japan! What's happening to me? Surely I'm not that crazy for him… Right?” Jungkook asked himself and faced forward. “Yoongi, why are you rushing?” The boy called out and noticed Yoongi was quick to place his seat belt on.

“Because I forgot to move the rice around for my mother.” Yoongi replied and suddenly began to drive. For some reason, the nerve-racking man seemed scared. But was this all because of a simple rice cooker?

“W-What? If anything, wouldn't she have already turned it off? You're overreacting and it scared me!” Jungkook responded and shoved the older as a laugh escaped from in between his own pouty lips. “She's going to kill you.”

“She would if she didn't love me.” The older replied and let out a chuckle. This managed to take Jimin off Jungkook's mind for a while as the thoughts of Jimin just standing at the park moments before, faded for now. It was such an odd thing to the young boy, he could have sworn Jimin was up ahead… Yet, it was just his mind playing tricks on him. As the boy sat over the passenger's seat next to Yoongi, he began to worry about where he would go for the night. He knew it was only a matter of time he'd be followed once again; since the night before in Professor Lim's house, Jungkook felt like he was being watched even in his sleep!

“Someone is following me…” Jungkook thought in his own head and let out a sigh. “Why me? Why did I have to wake up with a tattoo, and have a crazy mind enough to think Jimin was here? I'm losing my mind and I can't tell my parents or else they'll believe I'm losing it too! Telling the police… I want to but they won't believe the fact that I slept through a tattoo like this… I don't have any other proof to report. They'll take me as a crazy kid only telling lies.” The boy continued to debate on and on in his head until the car pulled up at a coffee drive-thru. This was brought to Jungkook's attention and made him realize that the two weren't going inside to drink coffee. “Drive-thru?”

“It's better to sit inside the car with a cup of coffee instead. Inside, we have to be quiet. So, this is better, we can catch up like this.” Yoongi insisted as he rolled his window down and placed in an order. Just seeing how the young man was very interested in catching up, made Jungkook feel excited to at least have one friend. Even if it wasn't Jimin, he didn't mind Yoongi. “It's been so long, while we wait for the coffee, what do you want to talk about? Tell me what has been happening in your life recently.”

“Well uh… things are a little frightening here and there… have you heard about the news of people turning up missing? It's all I've heard yesterday and today when I passed by the TV. There has to be something going on and it's scary. I felt like I was being watched for the past few days and then… I woke up with this.” Jungkook suddenly blurted out and hesitated to roll his sleeve up. “I'm sorry for rushing this over you. I-It's been on my mind a lot lately and I have no one to tell…”

Yoongi took Jungkook's words as if he wasn't bothered at all and just rose his eyebrows in concern. “Tell me. What did you wake up to…?”

“This… Do you know anything of it?” Jungkook asked, raising the bottom hem of his sweater over his chest, where his hand grew loose from the sleeve, and exposed his shoulder. Of course, Jungkook was sure to wear a tank top underneath his sweater to avoid exposing his chest. As Jungkook removed his sweater, he showed Yoongi the tattoo over his shoulder. The Roman Numeral of the number thirteen sat over his pale shoulder as Yoongi observed every detail into the tattoo.

“If you report this… It's more likely that they'll say you made this up. This looks so detailed and it must have taken a few hours to get done. They won't believe you, so save your breath.” Yoongi replied, acting unbothered about the tattoo as Jungkook took another look at it. “This thing is part of you now so there's no point in complaining.”

“I'm… I'm scared of going back to my place.” Jungkook added and looked down at his own lap before putting his sweater back on. “Do you know any box apartments nearby-”

“Just stay with me. It's no secret you need somewhere to stay, you could have just asked me, Jungkook. I would allow you to stay. You can sleep on my bed and I can sleep on the floor if you'd like. I'd even leave the room if you need to video chat with your tutor.” Yoongi’s help sounded much more comforting so far and Jungkook was happy he was going to stay with a friend while he was avoiding his own place. But for some odd reason, Jungkook just felt like he needed to assure his mother where he was in case if anything was to go wrong. With a tattoo like this over his own shoulder, he wasn't sure what could happen to him any second from now.

Jungkook felt more relieved letting his mother know he would be at Yoongi's place. Even if she didn't know where that was, she at least knew the full name of the man in case both of them went missing later on tonight. As the two got their cups of coffee and sat within the parked car, Yoongi sat back and turned his head to look at Jungkook. “Back to those people on the news reported missing… Did you know it's been happening way before the news outlet caught onto it? This isn't anything new… Although… I just wish to see what they can't… Does that make any sense?”

“Not really.” Jungkook replied as he took a sip from his hot coffee that had milk poured in to reach the top of the styrofoam cup of coffee.

“Ah, well I just wish to know where they are now. I bet they could be dead by now. Everyone that gets kidnapped either gets killed or thrown into human trafficking.” Yoongi spoke into a tone where he didn't give off any sympathy towards those who went missing within this endless week. He didn't care that people were going missing left and right, he didn't even give off much emotion at all towards Jungkook's tattoo but just doubted the fact that any police would help Jungkook there. “Do you know what human trafficking is?”

“When people are sold illegally…?” Jungkook added in and felt a shiver down his own spine. “Why do you want to talk about this, Yoongi? This is weird.”

“It's just reality.” Yoongi shrugged off the dark thought as Jungkook kept staring at the older. The boy thought Yoongi was crazy for thinking of human trafficking as just another light issue like littering. At that moment, Jungkook just couldn't focus after hearing about human trafficking and how someone could just kidnap the victim and throw them under such a thing. The boy was growing paranoid after knowing he had a tattoo, but Yoongi was right. No one would believe Jungkook when it came to the tattoo. It was too detailed to sleep through the whole hours it was made. “Human trafficking is such… A booming business… I've heard about it when I was on my way to campus. The boss' of each that provide people to the buyers… They get rich just selling off one person. It's sickening right? The many things people would do for money.”

Jungkook was silent. It was like an imaginary tape sealed his pouty lips as he listened to Yoongi's bone-chilling words. “I wonder if they ever cry about missing their families… I sure would. What about you, Jungkook? Of course you would. But if I were you, I'd stay with someone who could protect me. That tattoo is very shady. Just like you were marked by someone.” The young man's words healed Jungkook's worries as he closed off with that note. “You're free to stay with me whenever you like. I have a gun in my room for security measures.”

“You're really kind, Yoongi. Did you miss me that much?”

“Let's just say… You're a friend worth keeping. I'm glad I met you after so long. We should have been close years back.” Yoongi claimed and dropped his hand over Jungkook's shoulder where the tattoo hid under. “Don't worry about some stupid tattoo. You'll be safe with me at my place. It's not big, but it's something.” Yoongi offered a place for the younger to stay in and just knowing that he was alone with his older friend from high school, made him feel more relieved since he knew the figure that stalked him, wouldn't know where he goes for the night. Jungkook was safe now and he didn't even stress about sleeping alone. The anonymous figure of a man won't find him now… Right?

When night fell, Jungkook sat in Yoongi's apartment with the older man. It was a small apartment with at least one, black couch, one room, one bathroom, a balcony, and a small kitchen. It almost looked like Jungkook's place yet, it had less furniture around. The boy sat in Yoongi's empty room and took a good look at the bare walls, the echoes each voice held in it and the only bed he sat on.

“You're never on here, are you?” Jungkook asked as Yoongi was taking out bed covers so he could sleep on the floor. “You don't have to sleep down there. There's enough space for you!”

“No. I don't like sharing covers.” The man added and set his spot up where he will lay. “Sleep there and if you choose to stay with me again, you'll have to sleep down here for once.”

“Alright..” Jungkook replied, taking out his laptop to video chat with Jimin like always. He was nervous to log in and call Jimin from there since he had his head in the clouds each time he shed a thought about him. As the clock struck 8:00 PM, Jungkook suddenly received Jimin’s video call. The screen turned blue and the boy flinched at how quick Jimin was to start the video chat. Jungkook of course, accepted the call and was welcomed to Jimin wearing a black T-shirt over his well-fit torso. His muscles were firm and outlined, the way his eyes fell onto the screen with his brown hair rolled back; made him look irresistible. All sealed with exposing his forehead and sharp eyebrows sitting over his face so carefully. Jungkook looked at Jimin and noticed the man looked breathless as if he rushed to get here right at the dot.

“It's me~” Jimin said breathless and with the curve of his plump lips pulling into a smirk.

“Did you break a leg getting over here?” Jungkook teased and let out a cute giggle that made Jimin lock his focus onto Jungkook's round and doe eyes. “It’s not even one minute into eight and you're here so suddenly.”

“Your education matters. I shouldn't be late at all, Jungkook. Anyway, I can't imagine that you're at your professor's house, am I correct?”

“You seem to pay attention very well when it comes to the places I do our video chats… Is this part of our lesson? It's sad you complain about time on my education while guessing where I am.” The boy smart talked and this was what made Jimin sit up and place his glasses over his eyes. “Is that our lesson today? Learning where your student currently is? You seem to be changing places but I don't complain.” Jungkook then chuckled at Jimin as the man waited for him to be done so he can respond.

“No. Don't humor me, Jungkook. The lesson we'll learn about today is respect and never talking back to your tutor.” Jimin replied sarcastically as Jungkook let out a scoff. “Let's get into the lesson.” Jimin announced as Jungkook kept taking a few glances up at Jimin time to time as if he was just begging Jimin to talk more. Jimin's voice seemed raspy that evening and listening to it pushed all the headache the boy had, to the back of his head. Finding peace by hearing his own tutor introduce new ways of solving problems in Calculus. As Jimin did so, Jungkook never took a moment to pry his eyes off the screen to look at Jimin every second and every minute the video call was timed.

Jungkook was too happy and having his head in the clouds, he didn't even realize that Yoongi was laying down on the covers he set over the floor; watching him happily. The older laid there, watching Jungkook with a smile as he listened to Jungkook's voice change time to time as he addressed Park Jimin. However, Yoongi enjoyed Jungkook's voice alone… But not Jimin's. Hearing Jimin left Yoongi's nails digging into the covers of the bed. On the other hand, watching and listening to Jungkook made the older smile at the young boy. Min Yoongi just didn't seem so excited about Jimin at all; rather, he seemed very silent and tense towards Jungkook's tutor throughout the video chat that night.
