《Uninvited | Jikook Smut |》Chapter 1: Just A Little Rain

It was a cold and rainy day in the streets of South Korea. Students were off studying and approaching their afternoon classes even if it began to rain with such cold wind roaring through tall buildings. As students with umbrellas filled the courtyard of Yonsei University; one of the top S.K.Y universities in South Korea alone. Everyone walked to class with umbrellas over their heads, but, there was one young man walking through the rain with nothing over him.
The student walked with no panic in the rain; wearing a black sweater that rolled up against the elbows so his hands could freely hold onto the straps of his black backpack that hung right behind his back, matching with his blue jeans and black timberlands as well. The college boy carried a sense of fashion, but never an umbrella. He wandered down the sidewalks to the classes until he reached the halls of the big university. Inside, he made it into the men's bathroom where he stood and glanced at the mirror in silence. His black, silk, hair was drenched in the cold rain, his clothes were soaking wet against his own body, outlining his fit body frame, and even his shoes began to squeak with each step he took forward.
Slowly, his eyes met with the mirror before him as he kept his lips shut; slowly placing on his black, round, glasses over his own face. With no words, he expressed utterly stress through his round and dark brown eyes. His eyelashes complimented his attractive face, his pink lips closed into a pout and held a shape and a small cloud. This young man was just starting out his fourth week as a freshman in Yonsei University. However, he stressed the fact that he wasn't that presentable before class was to begin. As always, he was never presentable and late so he was always called out for it by his professor.
“I can't go in like this…” The young boy complained and rolled his drenched hair back to expose his sharp eyebrows under his perfectly spaced, forehead. “The professor will say, ‘Jeon Jungkook, don't tell me you can't even afford an umbrella! Look at you, you're like a sponge, walking into class with water sliding down your ankles!’ That's what he'll say… I don't want to be here today..” Jungkook whispered to himself and took his white indoor sneakers out to walk to class either way. The boy named Jeon Jungkook loved to complain, but there was no way he actually meant to take action on the words he would say.
Without further ado, Jungkook walked out of the men's restroom and made his way to class. Even know, he expected the worse to come to him as soon as he walked through those doors. Eventually, Jungkook stepped in and met eyes with many of his classmates. Then, there was his professor. A tall and very youthful man. He wasn't too old or too young. He was around his late thirties to be exact. All the man wore was black and white matching dress shirt and slacks to match with his indoor shoes as well. His hair was dyed black, silver glasses sat over his pale face and his eyes were rather small just behind the glasses alone. He was attractive, but of course, who would forget that ring that sat over his finger? This was Jungkook's professor in Calculus; one of the many important fields Jungkook lacked for medical school. Yes, Jungkook walked on a road to be a doctor.

However, it wasn't like he chose this path. He was heir to his rich family that became rather controlling towards what Jungkook had to do in life. Being so helpless, Jungkook had to bear with the possessive demands of his family and work hard for something he didn't want at all. Yet, that didn't mean Jungkook didn't love his own family. Jungkook loved his family and treasured his mother, his father, his brother and so many more to his big family.
As Jungkook walked in and bowed to the professor, he walked over to his seat and that's when class was to begin. Managing to make it before the bell was to ring. On the other hand, his professor's eyes fixed over Jungkook and kept staring until Jungkook finally looked up and heard the many snickers of his classmates all around him. “G-Good Morning, Professor Lim.
“Good morning, Jungkook. Hey, Jungkook? Did you notice how you walked into my class today?” Professor Lim questioned and focused on Jungkook. Embarrassing him in the afternoon. “It's such a rainy day today and you didn't even dare to bring your own umbrella… There are a few baskets around town that gives them out for free, you know.” The Professor claimed as Jungkook looked down. Having the first few minutes of the class spent with the class taking his actions as a joke. “Listen, Jeon Jungkook… I don't want to embarrass you. I'm scolding you for your own good. You need to be told these things so you would think again before doing something so stupid. I want you to take this umbrella and use it whenever there is a rainy day. Okay? Your clothes are too nice to ruin.” Then, the professor reached behind his own desk and took out a clear umbrella to give to Jungkook. “Be more careful next time. You must always look presentable for your education. Always bring the best you.”
“Thank you, sir…” Jungkook replied and accepted the umbrella. His face grew red from the embarrassment and he grew so small before everyone. Jungkook despised it when his professor told him off like that, but he couldn't hide the fact that Professor Lim was always right. The older professor was always a ladies man, but underneath his handsome face was also a strict and careful man towards his students. However, it didn't mean Jungkook had to like him.
“As for everyone, I've graded your worksheets on page forty-five on our workbook. Good job to all of you except for… Jungkook.” The man called the spotlight onto Jungkook once more as a few girls giggled at the boy being called out multiple times in a day. Could this get any worse? “If you want to get into a medical school, this is a course you have to pass in order to reach the requirements. Jeon Jungkook, you can't be a doctor if you're not focused. Please see me after class.”
“I hate you…” Jungkook thought and nodded his head after. Playing it off like it wasn't a big deal. After class, Jungkook stood up and reached the desk where the professor lowered his own glasses to meet with Jungkook's four eyes. The class grew empty, leaving it up to the two within the room.
“Jungkook, what's wrong with you? Why aren't you focusing? Are you even studying after school? I never see you in the study programs…” Professor Lim questioned as thunder clashed from the outside. “Is there problems with relationships, family… Anything?”

“N-No, Professor.” Jungkook denied and let out a sigh. “I just don't understand… It's so hard, in highschool I never put myself up to focus like this and now, I'm in college and-”
“Drop out.” The man suggested as Jungkook flinched like a child and desperately shook his head. “Good. I was expecting that from you. You hold on because you believe in it. I want you to find a tutor for yourself. I know a website you could check out whenever you're ready. It offers tutoring from college graduates so, they've been in your shoes before. You don't have to suffer through these failing grades. If you check this out, I'm guaranteed you'll be able to understand better.” Stated the professor as he pulled out a small post it note to write a web address onto the paper. With silence that fell across the dim room, lightning flashed and thunder struck. “It's not looking good out there… Would you like me to drive you to a nearby study site?”
“No, Sir… I'm going home after.” Jungkook replied as the professor shrugged his shoulders and rose the paper over to the young boy.
“I can drive you home if you want…”
“I don't live far. Thank you again.” Jungkook responded and accepted the piece of paper with the web address to the tutoring site written over it. “I'll give this a try, good night, Professor.” Jungkook added and with that, he finally walked out of class with his professor watching over the boy as he made his way out.
The boy soon reached outside of the big university. He made sure to take out the umbrella as the streets before him were dim with the sun slowly coming to set. Many students were going off to study, but not Jungkook. He was going home for the day. His stomach rumbled as switched onto his outdoor shoes and opened the umbrella to make his way home. He had no ride home, just walking was his routine after school. The wind still roared in cold, the rain still poured like bullets shooting from the grey skies, Jungkook walked all alone as soon as the night fell across the sky. Walking in a dark alley to his apartment nearby.
The rain didn't even dare to lighten up and it was still beating against the clear umbrella over Jungkook’s head. He trembled in the cold and his eyes scattered around each corner. He never liked staying after dark in the school for Professor Lim's extra lessons. Of course, it was never a choice to him. After a good while of walking all alone, he soon found the building to his apartment from beyond another dark alley. “Finally…” Jungkook huffed his warm breath before desperately walking faster in the cold. However, he just didn't seem to notice a black figure just standing far off behind him once he set foot into the dark area.
In silence it stood down the alley; watching over the young man while lightning only helped to show the outlined figure against the brick walls of the alley. But, Jungkook just didn't notice at all. The young man walked down the wet streets of the alley until… He finally heard footsteps coming from behind him. Suddenly a sharp feeling of needles seemed to bite down on his skin from the goosebumps he felt. Jungkook almost wanted to stand in place, but every little instinct in him forced him to look back at that moment. Oddly, as soon as he looked back, there was nobody there.
“These streets aren't safe at night…” Jungkook whispered to himself and began to face forward but as soon as he did, the black figure emerged from the black shade where it hid and continued to follow the boy. As Jungkook walked he heard the same, hollow, and wet footsteps over the hard sidewalk until Jungkook nearly turned his head back to catch a short glimpse of someone or something pursuing after him. With just his gaze catching the shady figure from behind him, Jungkook suddenly stopped and closed the umbrella. At that moment, he could only hear his own breathing and within seconds, he dashed down the street with the heavy rain beating on his face. He couldn't dare to look back and he didn't plan to. Only keeping the umbrella in his hands as a weapon for defense.
As soon as Jungkook made it to the parking lot of his apartment building, he gathered courage to look back and that's when it finally disappeared. Could it have been his own shadow? Jungkook questioned it further and safely got to his own apartment right after. The safety of his own place made him smile happily. There was two couches within his small apartment, one bedroom, a small bathroom and a kitchen set into the modern styled living room.
Jungkook thought back at the figure he saw chasing him out the dark alley and with that thought burning into his mind, he quickly set a chair under the door knob within seconds. “There's no way I'm getting killed tonight…” Whispered the man and sat over at his own couch to catch his own breath and contemplate. As he sat there in silence, Jungkook soon dug into his pocket and took out the wet post it note with the slightly faded web address of the tutoring website Professor Lim recommended.
“I'll check this out first…” Jungkook whispered to himself and reached into his backpack to take his laptop case out. Protecting the laptop from any water damage from the rain pouring outside. Jungkook spent no second to turn his thin Macbook on and type down the URL for the website. Letter by letter, he eventually reached the website after it loaded in seconds. He selected the subjects he lacked and by there, he was given a list of tutors. Most seemed very promising but none of them seemed to catch his round eyes hiding behind his black, circular, glasses. After a good thirty minutes in, the young man only looked around and had no intentions of getting a tutor now. He seemed to lose hope and got to shy to approach them. But that was until… He found one interesting profile of a tutor by the name of, Park Jimin.
