"Hello! Meera. Take a deep breath" Deva instructed making the seven year old girl follow his instructions as he did a routine check up on his pateint. He put away his stethoscope around his neck before reading the patient file as Hima walked in after her rounds.

Hima smiled walking to Meera who grinned looking at her asking "Hima akka did you bring me chocolate?"

"Oh...well...." Hima trailed off making Meera pout but grinned as Hima took out chocolate bar from her apron pocket giving it to Meera who hugged Hima thanking her.

"We'll be doing the surgery tomorrow make sure she eats something light but healthy" Deva insisted making the nurse nod as he moved to the next patient.

The whole morning they were busy with checkups and doing their rounds while the juniors took notes and answering a few questions asked by Deva who was also into teaching.

At lunch Hima knocked on Deva's cabin door before going inside to see him looking at the neurosurgery clips performed by senior doctors before him. She cleared her throat making him say "Yes!Dr.Hima what is it?"

"It's lunch Dr.Deva and let's have it together with the juniors and make them comfortable on their first day" Hima suggested.

Deva put away his ear buds shutting his system down looking at her "This is hospital there is nothing comfortable about it".

Hima rolled her eyes and literally dragged him out making the doctors raise their eyebrows at their closeness as they walked to the cafeteria outside the hospital where three junior doctors were sitting at a corner bringing their food as they joined them.

"Dr.Deva it's really a honour working under your guidance" Ramesh one of the juniors beamed.

"Yes Dr.Deva we are so excited to learn many things from you" Murgan who was sitting beside Deva said.

"This is lunch have it fast so you could go and attend your patients" Deva responded to their honorifics making them a little dejected.

"Come on now Dr.Deva you can't be strict with them from first day itself" Hima cheerfully said as they started lunch.

"Dr.Deva can I ask you something?" One of the juniors who's the only girl th the group Sona asked making him nod.

"Umm.. Do you have a girlfriend?" Sona stammered out making everyone eagerly look at Deva's answer.

Deva gave a look to Sona insisting "If you really showed this intrest in your preparation you'd be in Seoul medical school now" making everyone pity Sona who looked down feeling sad while he stood up setting his apron but answered her question "I'm married" before walking away making Hima choke on her drink as everyone looked at his retreating back.
