《》SCENE-61

Deva surfaced from water holding onto Siva who's unconscious and swam towards the shore pushing themselves onto the dry land panting for breath and looked at Siva before compressing her chest but she still wasn't getting up "Ms.Sivatmika....Ms.Sivatmika...wake up...Siva... Siva...wake up..... Sive.." he yelled making her cough out the water as he rubbed her back while she tried to breath.
She was panting for breath as he fell back on the muddy ground making her look around then at him before falling back and sighed thankful that they are alive and closed her eyes for a bit gritting out "I'm going to kill him that bastard...".
"Watch your language Ms Sivatmika" Deva warned before getting up and walked near the water and cleaned his face and shirt getting rid of mud saying "We've to find the road soon before it's night again".
Siva stood up slowly and washed her her muddy dress and face before following Deva who's walking into the forest making her ask "How do you know this is the right way?"
"The sun sets towards the river and the sunrise was towards the forest" Deva said and took off his shirt making her close her eyes and scream "What the hell are you doing?"
"I'm getting comfortable and it's hot in the forest" Deva said and tied his shirt around his waist continuing his walk in search of the road. It took hours and hours but they didn't even find anything and Siva fell on her knees panting "Not anymore. I can't walk".
"Are you really giving up Ms.Sivatmika I thought you are strong willed than other girls" Deva said making her scoff "What do you mean by other girls? Do you think girls are weak? How dar-" she was cut of with his hand on her mouth making her struggle but he held her back of her head pushing her behind the tree as they heard the noises making her still.

"I wonder if they are still alive" One of the guys said making the other one say "They wouldn't have been but when our truck hit them the car fell in the water so there might be a fifty percent chance of their survival".
"Shut up and search them we've to get out before it's dark" The guy with a loud and gruffy voice ordered. Seems like the gang leader as Siva widened her eyes as they heard the foot steps nearing them and Deva took a stone throwing away in some other direction.
"Did you hear that?" One of the guys said making everyone look in the direction where the sound was heard and rushed towards another opening making Siva sigh at their retrieving footsteps.
"That was close we've to go" Deva slowly said making her nod like an obedient child but he stayed like that making her look into his eyes as he raised his eyebrows making her sign towards her hand who took it away and moved back before walking forward.
They walked and walked and the sun started setting and they heard vehicles sound making Siva rush to him "Did you hear that too?" making him nod as she continued "Thankyou Mahadev you are really my saviour" joining her hands looking at the sky.
"Your welcome" Deva said was about to take a step towards the sound when they heard "Not so fast" and looked around to see the gang searching for them surrounded them.
"And here I thought your Mahadev was on our side" Deva scoffed looking at Siva who rolled her eyes and looked at sky with the questioning eyes.
"Mahadev? Don't worry you'll meet him soon" saying the gang leader signed his goons to kill them and he turned around to sit on a rock but one of his gang members body flied and fell on the rock making him turn and see his other guys on the ground.

Siva widened her eyes as the guy Deva held literally flew a few feet from the ground and fell down groaning as the leader of the gang ran to Deva with the knife but Deva ducked and held the leader between his elbow and punched his back making the goon groan in pain and the knife slipped from his hand as Deva asked "Tell me the name already come on".
"The king...the king ..." The leader groan making Siva widen her eyes and Deva paused as if thinking something before kicking the goon unconcious and closed his eyes before looking towards the sky and yelled making Siva scared and took a step back.
"Let's get the hell out of here" Deva gritted out making Siva follow him towards the road and after a an hour or two they saw a check post where police were checking every vehicle and walked towards them to see the officers rushing to them.

The Choice is Not Yours
Author's Note: (As of November 20, 2021) I rewrote all the chapters perhaps more than a year ago, but haven't announced that I did so. Because that kind of announcement would include something along the lines of, "I'm working on the story so expect new chapters!" But the truth is, I lack motivation to do anything. And I would hate myself if I broke a promise. I'm extremely sorry if you have been patiently waiting for uploads. These days, I've been studying, not well, but studying somewhat. I will definitely bring more to show, with regular uploads. If not this story then there's another story I've been writing that's really exciting to me. It's not exactly similar to this story since it has a male lead and he is a baneful asshole with even less morals. I hope you'll like it when it comes to existence. And I'll leave my announcement off with the aforementioned promise. Meet Amber, a tomboyish, unstable, and cheeky lass who likes to keep to herself. According to her, she'll live the rest of her life on auto-pilot mode, awhile holding onto the few things that make her remotely happy. However, she forgot that people never really leave you alone, be it humans or even the Gods. And exactly that happens, ending her monotonous life on such the Gods' whim. But at what cost to her? Will she be able to hold onto the things she holds dear? Or will she fail miserably and lose herself in the process? That's what the Gods want to know. Disclaimer: I do not own the cover photo.Warning: If you are easily triggered, I am not writing this novel for you.

Magikind
Disclaimer: This is a low-fantasy, soft-sci-fi genre. In fact, it's a variety of genres, so don't be too put off by the tags Through several centuries of selective breeding, these beings, known as mages, have become part of the very foundations of society. However, some humans refused to change or adapt along with them. They believed in purity and refused to interbreed with magikind. Known as the manush, they were a rarity among society. Now, in the fifth millennia, the manush are thought to be extinct. With magikind ruling the world, a three-way war grips society between Eurasia, Afro-Australian Alliance and The Americas. In these uncertain times, a manush called Gin enters the Eurasian army. From there, our journey unfolds. A story of how mankind could realistically evolve while still pushing boundaries. PS. I am also posting here: Creative Novels so don't worry, I'm not being stolen from. PSS. Join the discord server for updates on the novel: Link to Server Note: This is a rewrite of this: Magikind [Original] and a good number of people have read what I've done so far beforehand (patreon, beta readers etc, not to mentions old fans of the original etc. I've written 35 chapters so far for this rewrite), so don't be alarmed by any early reviews or ratings.
