Both Hima and Siva walked out of the elevator towards the restaurant and saw Deva sitting alone ordering something and joined him as Hima said "I'll have a black coffee please" making the waiter nod and looked at Siva who was thinking something as Deva ordered "One sandwich and a capucctinno" making Hima look at him as the waiter left them alone.
"I don't like sandwiches" Siva said loud making him nod "That's why I ordered so you wouldn't be distracted and let this deal go" which made Siva scoff and Hima gave a pitiful look to Siva saying "Come on that's not fair Deva you can't do that" as Siva gritted her teeth and gave a forceful smile to her boss "I'm not going to let this deal go I promise".
"Siva you don't have to eat those" Hima said as the waiter served their orders and put a bill receipt on the table before giving the trio privacy as Siva gave a look to her boss and took a bite from her sandwich her expression changing into disgust as Hima handed her water.
"I've to eat since my so called BRO BOSS ordered these for me" Siva gritted out sarcastically having other bite making him narrow his eyes as Hima sighed at her stubbornness and had her breakfast along with Deva.
As Siva promised she gave the presentation well while Deva and Hima talked about extra activities and precautions to be taken for starting a new pharmaceuticals in the village making Mr.Ghattamaneni nod and extended his hand "Very well then our deal is locked Dr.Deva your employees are as smart as you I'm impressed girls" saying he shook Deva's hand before signing the agreement papers and got up buttoning his suit jacket continuing "I'll see you in the party tonight guys great job" and left towards his car.

"Party? None said that there'll be a party after the meeting" Siva said out making Deva turn towards her "You don't have to come" which made her narrow her eyes before picking up her laptop along with agreement file and walked towards the elevators.
"Why do you always do this? She gets hurt too you know" Hima said looking in the direction Siva went as Deva said "I'm hungry let's have lunch" walking towards the restaurant follower by Hima silently and ordered Italian food.
"So..you like Italian food" Hima said eating her food making him shake his head "No I don't like Italian food" which made her pause and ask "Then why did you order it?" But soon smiled as if she understood as he said "So I get used it.
"Who's the extra food for?" Deva asked as they got into elevator making her look at the cover "For Siva she didn't have her lunch" which made him roll his eyes saying "She must have eaten already you don't know about her she's a terrible foodie" making her smile.
"It's okay she'll have it later I'll just give it to her" Hima said as they got out of the elevator and knocked on Siva's room door twice before she opened holding a chicken fried leg in her hand as Deva mumbled "Yeah so much for having lunch" which made Hima sheepishly smile at him and handed the food cover to Siva "Oh god thankyou so much Hima I am so hungry" making Hima smile as Deva shook his head and walked towards his room saying "Be ready by eight" before closing his room door.

8 215The Core And The Wardens of Eternity
What is the Core, they asked me... It's the light that pushes the darkness away, a bastion of justice, a safe keeper of life. It grooms love and tolerance, embraces science, fights ignorance, sentences it to die a slow and tragic death. The Core... it's something that can't be destroyed for destroying it is to terminate the time and space itself. When the stuck-in-a-dark-age world of Zanria goes offline, the Core sends one of its experienced agents to find out what is going on and to try to reestablish a mysteriously severed connection. However, all his training and experience might come way short as the world sinks in war and chaos with different races and clans fighting for the Star of Bardan, the ward rumored to possess enough supernatural power to create and destroy entire worlds. *** I just changed the name of the series, from 'the Nexus' to 'the Core'. Somehow it just sounds more right to me. This is the first story, and it has a medieval fantasy setting. But, eventually, this is going to turn into Isekai series with elements of LitRPG. So, my future books might include worlds with advanced technologies that might be more in SciFi, including Steampunk, genre. The first book might start slow, but after a few chapters, it should all be properly set up, and by then you should get the feel of how it will all flow. Also, I plan to introduce different story threats that should spread out and criss-cross in the future. Hopefully, I will not complicate it too much, and that it will all read good. I am planning to continue to add chapters to the main storyline here, but I'm also starting a new story threat in the Core series called The Recordings of Raan. There is also a side story The Memoires of Eisen that's exclusive on Patreon for those who would like to support me.
