《Broken- Kolena》Chapter 13

Liv was walking through the cemetery she was not fond of the idea that her father was trying to talk to all three of them. She didn't want to meet him she didn't want to forgive him how was she supposed to after him not being there for her entire life. She had come to the cemetery because she knew it was a witch spot and it calmed her.
"Liv?" He knew that she didn't want to talk to him, but he had to try. His daughter had every right to hate him she had every right to never want to see him again.
"Leave me alone." She didn't care if he was her father, she was good she had survived without him. She didn't need him then and she sure as hell didn't need him now. She knew that she was being selfish, but she didn't care it was her life, it was her decision.
"Olivia." He knew that would get a reaction.
She turned towards her father she preferred her nickname like her sister. She didn't hate her name, but he didn't need to be saying it. "You want something cause i am not particularly interested in talking to you."
"You hate me i understand." He knew that she had the right to be acting exactly how she was, but he had to. He had to try to get the family that he had lost.
"No i don't hate you i despise you i want to see you dead." There was a lot of things that she had learned growing up and that was that she had to look out for herself. That trying to get attention wasn't going to get her anywhere so she thought smarter. It was better to hide how she really felt until it was necessary to reveal it. "I had prayed that mom lied to us. But she didn't. I didn't have to act out like Evie I'm not sensitive like she is. I'm not going to bend my morals for someone else like Noah. My mother may think i act the most like her, but she couldn't be farther from the truth." She hadn't wanted to hurt her mother by revealing how cutthroat she actually was she didn't want to put more stress on her, so she kept it a secret and now it was finally coming out. "And i will never forgive you for the things that you put my mother through." She may have been an exact replica of her father, but her mother was her mother and she had put up with everything even when she didn't have to.

"So, you did in fact let Evie take the blame for everything." He already knew the answer to that he didn't even need to ask the question she had been paying attention to how his kids acted when he had been watching them.
"She chose to even she knew better than to cross her little sister." She wasn't sure how he knew that to begin with she had been very careful to not get caught by anyone. And she knew that she had made it clear to her older triplet how dangerous she could be. "How would you even know that?"
He had kept an eye on them, and he learned how they acted how they hid things what the kept secret and lied about. "Know that you set a fire and your aunt cleaned it up and they all assumed that it was your sister."
She flashed to him she knew there was only way for him to possibly know that. "You were there?" She didn't need the answer it was the only way that he would know that because she knew that Evie hadn't told him.
"Since you were four." He knew that it was a shock to her. It was a shock to all of them that he had always been watching over them without their knowledge.
"Hmm that's good to know you couldn't meet your children, but you could watch us from afar how does that work." She could feel her walls dropping and that was not what she wanted to happen. She didn't want to forgive him she wanted to stay angry at him forever. "Do you know how much stress you put my mother through? She did it for us she never wanted to be a vampire but she wanted her forever with you." She knew the story her mother had always despised the idea of being a vampire because she wanted to be human she wanted to be normal. But her mind had changed when she had fell in love with him and she was willing to compromise her mortality if it meant that she could be with him for the rest of her life. "She got the chance at the family that she always wanted and you kicked her out of town. Because you have trust issues. But that was not her fault it was yours that you couldn't trust her but you could have came back for her you had the chance to do it and you were to much of a coward." She knew her words were lethal to him and that they were going to affect him and that's exactly what she wanted.

He knew that she was right he had been a coward he hadn't considered that everything could have worked out in the end. "I was a coward, but you don't know the things your mother went to for her to even be with me to begin with. For starters she wanted to kill all of us and she didn't because of me she fell in love with me and i loved her like i had never loved anyone before." She had been the first one that he had truly loved in centuries and he had betrayed her because he had thought that he betrayed her. "And i have always trusted her more than anyone in the world. And the thought that she of all people would betray me scared the hell out of me Liv. After doing that to her how do i ask for forgiveness." He wouldn't have been able to not after the things that she had endured because of him. "It was easier to let her live her life raising you three then for me to come back after the things that i put her through acting like it never happen"
"But it would have saved us a lot of grief for you to just admit that you were wrong." Maybe it was not the easiest way, but it was what he had needed to do and he didn't do it. "That she never did anything. It was that easy."
"I wish it was but it was never going to be that easy." He had finally talked to her after 15 years and the only reason why was because he knew that she knew he was following her that things had changed.
"You talked to her?" She was assuming he did if he was now talking to the three of them. It would be wise to talk to her before coming to talk to her children.
"Yes, i did." There was no point in beating around the bush he had talked to Elena and now he was talking to the triplets.
She smirked chuckling lightly imagining how that must have went. She wished that she would have been there to see it. "Did she yell at you?"
He nodded he knew that it had been an intense conversation for the both if them. "You met her."
"You deserved it i know that she deserves to be happy and i know that she is still in love with you but its not easy to forgive someone that was supposed to show up years ago." She wanted to forgive him but she could not bring herself to do it not after everything taht she had witnessed. She had been through a lot she had seen her mother put up with a lot for all three of them. "I'm 15 all three of us are 15 and you are just now showing up. You are just now asking for forgiveness. Why on earth should we give it to you?" She was not her sister and she was not her brother. Things were the way they were and there was no changing that if he wanted forgiveness than it was going to take more than some mediocre apology. She wanted truth real truth not the same things that he had told the other two. "I know you talked to Evie she called me i called Noah i know that he has forgiven you for the sake of mom. We usually can always agree on something but this is something i can't agree on them with."
"What will it take?" He needed to get her forgiveness and he was willing to do anything to get it. He knew by the way that she was looking at him that their was one option.
"Truth real truth something that you did not tell my mom that you did not tell my sister or my brother. Real reasons besides your just a coward." She knew that there had to be more to the story and she wanted to know what it was. "Or you'll never get my forgiveness. "

Hayley walked into her apartment with Hope they looked to Elena. "Guess what?" They knew that Elena was about to be happy about the news that they had to share with her.
"What?" She hadn't heard from any of her kids or Kol, and she was kind of worried about how everything went down.
Hope smiled she was amazed at how on edge her aunt was about this, but she did have a reason to be. "All three of them forgave him."
"Really." She really thought that all three of them would never actually forgive him.
Hayley nodded she knew that was what Elena had wanted since she left New Orleans 16 years ago and now it was finally happening for her. "They did it looks like you four are finally going to be a family."

What do you think Kol told Liv to get her forgiveness?

Markus Kuberski, a 21-year-old mechanical engineering student at the Vienna University of Technology and a weeb, is bored by life. He has no girlfriend he cannot meet up with his friends because there is another Covid-lockdown and getting a side-job is also unsuccessful. Therefore, he has started to write a web novel. “If I cannot be the main character with magical powers and a harem full of cute girls in real life then I will create my own universe and be its protagonist.” Although that has been his first thought, he neither dare to use himself as the main character’s template nor write a harem story. “I am not that desperate!” he muses to himself. Little does he know that he will get more than he asked for when a mighty existence becomes interested in his story and makes it a reality. Hello, this is my first attempt at creating something like a novel. English is also not my native language, so expect some grammar and punctuation issues. I am using Grammarly to help myself in this regard, but in some areas, the free app cannot correct everything. There is currently no fixed schedule, although I believe that two chapters per week should be reasonable. Depending on how much time I have, I can write more.
