Lydia's POV
I didn't need supernatural senses to know that something was wrong. Members of The S Pack hated our pack with a passion, so Nate wouldn't ask for Scott's help if it wasn't absolutely necessary. And that thought alone terrifies me.
So when Scott rushed out of Mr. Harris' class with Nate, I knew something was wrong. Was it Stiles? But I thought he didn't like Scott anymore either. So finally, when school let out for lunch, I immediately took my phone out and called Derek.
What's wrong this time?
How rude of him to be annoyed when he doesn't even know the possible height of this situation. "Derek, Nate came and got Scott from class today, and I'm having one of those feelings," I stutter, panicked at the rushing feeling in my chest and the familiar ring in my head. It's a Banshee feeling, and that's never a good thing.
Wait. Why? And is this one of those Banshee things or a normal teenager thing?
He finally begins to take this seriously as I hear movement on the other side. "I don't know, but I have a feeling it's Stiles. I don't want to find Stiles' dead body, Derek. I don't." The situation begins to crash down, and tears fill my eyes. Stiles could be dying right now, and all I can do is show up to find the body.
Calm down, Lydia. Scott just called, and Peter and I are on our way to the hospital. Stay in school, all of you.
He barked the orders before hanging up, leaving me worried. Nevertheless, I leave Derek to his work and stay in school like he said. I meet with the rest of the pack at lunch. I packed up Scott's materials that he carelessly left in the lab, so I had an extra bag with me.

"Does anyone else find it kind of suspicious that Stiles' pack's table is empty, and Scott's missing at the same time?" Isaac questions while peeling a sticker off of his apple. The rest of the table peers over to the empty table and back to the empty spot next to Kira.
They nod slowly, and Malia asks, "You don't think they're killing him, do you? Because I can kill them if you want me to."
I raise my eyebrows at her offer before shaking my head quickly.
"Scott's probably fine. Maybe he just got held back in Finstock's class," Kira offered, taking a bit of her salad. But under the table, her knee was bouncing up and down, and her left hand was bobbing on her steady knee.
"Or," Liam argues, "Scott could be dying somewhere, and here we are eating lunch like everything's fine!" He smacks his fist on the table, and Hayden rushes to calm him.
Mason continues. "Besides, you guys would be able to catch his scent, right?"
The pack nods in agreement, but I just roll my eyes in annoyance. "Guys, Scott's fine." I finally get a word in, and they turn to look at me with wide eyes.
"Do you know something you're not telling us, Lydia?" Malia demands, and the pack looks at me with accusing stares.
I huff. "If you would have let me talk, I would have told you that Nate came and got Scott during Mr. Harris' class. So I called Derek, because you know, suspicions, and he and Peter are on their way to the hospital to meet with Scott," I explain and take a sip of my water.
Isaac stands. "Then what are we still doing here?" He demands, and Liam follows suit.

"Boys! Stop!" I scold, and they slowly take their seats again. "Derek told us to stay in school. Scott's fine, and Derek said he'd keep us updated, so act natural, okay?" I say, hoping that this conversation was over.
But I was wrong. "So is Stiles okay? I mean, that's the only reason that Scott would be asked to help, right?" Kira questions, and I shrug.
"I wasn't told all of the details, but I doubt it's anything to worry about," I reason, and everyone calms down a bit.
Mason nods slowly. "Right. I mean, if it was, we would be at the hospital right now. But I just can't believe any of this. It's all so intense all of the time. How do you guys handle it?" He grins, and Isaac tries to hide the roll of his eyes.
"We don't. Almost every one of us are failing at least one class, with the exception of Lydia and yourself. We don't really know what we're doing, honestly," Isaac snaps, and Hayden scowls at him.
"Guys, stop," I interfere. "This is ridiculous. I know we're stressed, but we need to work together to get through this. In case you forgot, Deucalion has a new pack that's coming after one of our best friends."
Malia narrows her eyes at the table. "Stiles isn't our best friend anymore. He left us, so what do we owe him?"
All of us sit shocked for a minute, speechless at Malia's sudden aggression. She's been like this ever since Stiles left, saying that he was her anchor. I felt bad for her, but it wasn't like he just decided to leave us without us pushing him away.
"Malia, it's not like that, and you know it. We were the ones that pushed him away, and now we have to deal with the consequences. But you know that if one of us were in danger, he would be the first to put him life on the line for us," Kira argues before shrinking back under Malia's and Isaac's glares.
Then, Liam's phone rings. He answers it puts it on speaker. "Hey Scott," he greets, genuinely concerned for his alpha.
Hey Liam. Is the pack with you?
Scott's voice came rushed and laced with worry. "Yeah, they're here. Is everything okay?" Liam replies.
Not gonna lie, I'm not sure. But I want to fill you guys in since you're at school all day.
"Thank God!" Hayden sighs, and we laugh weakly in agreement.
Okay, so Stiles is at the hospital, but we don't really know what's wrong with him yet. He collapsed today at school, and he hasn't stopped twitching since. It's almost like he's having a seizure, so I don't know. He started screaming in pain about an hour ago.
There was a pause, so I asked, "Do you think this is something supernatural?" His symptoms apply for both humans with an average disease and for something supernatural.
I don't know because Maddie seems convinced that it is so she won't use magic in case it would only make it worse. He's still unconscious, though. Uh, guys I have to go. Derek will keep you updated when we learn something else. Mom!
Then the line disconnected, and everyone was left staring at each other in silence.
What could be wrong with the most powerful being in the world?

Exuperius [DISCONTINUED]
Terravest. The northernmost continent of the world known by many names of legend, but is most commonly reffered to as Athora, has, for eons, served as the land of exiles. Human criminals, dark elves, grayskinned orcs and dwarves that preffer mining with machinery over the traditional pickaxe alike, have come to call this half-frozen hellhole their home. It is a land of great strife, calamity and crisis, where one legendary tale ends only to begin the next, heroes fall down and villains find themselves thrown into lava. Around seventy years ago, a legendary figure appeared out of seemingly nowhere and conquered three human nations, forming a kingdom worthy enough of being called a small empire. However, at the eve of his heirs ascension, the legend breathed his last, leaving this same bloated, chaotic realm without the pillar that kept it together. Already, the carrion nobility, still spiteful for being denied their "rightful" place below the sun, rise up and gather at the court, each eager to consolidate their own power in these troubled times. Tempers flare, power is exercised without restraint and no one expects the hedonistic prince to succeed at keeping the realm together. Alas, as is often the case with such tales, not everything seems to be as it might at first appear and the vain lords of the realm may yet come to regret their carrion will. --- The Content Warnings are there for a good reason. ---
