Maddie's POV
When Papa S showed up, I didn't really know what to expect. I mean, Stiles and I just made our relationship official a few weeks ago, and we didn't get around to filling him in on this. So not only is Stiles going to tell his dad about me and him, but also about what all of us are.
Sure, Papa S has his suspicions about us, considering he's seeing everything in a new light since Stiles and Scott helped inform him of this supernatural world. Ugh, Scott. Everything about him makes me feel a range of emotions, and none of them are pleasant. I mean, I want to feel for him, but Stiles told me how their relationship had been strained for a while because of the Nogitsune, and Donovan, and even Allison.
I think the biggest downfall was Donovan. I knew Theo personally during that middle time where no one had heard from him, and he reminded me of a four-year-old. He only thought about himself and would argue over every little thing. He would throw a fit when something didn't go his way, only his were a little more violent than the average four-year-old.
So how did Scott believe that over his best friend since they were four? Yeah, I don't know either. But what annoys me the most is that Scott is going to come crawling back now that Stiles is stronger than ever after he left us to pick up all of the pieces of his broken "best friend".
But I almost can't help but thank him for what he did. Without him and the rest of his pack kicking Stiles out, he and I wouldn't have been reunited, and we wouldn't have discovered our feelings for each other. So, in a way, I'm glad Scott hurt him enough to leave Beacon Hills to come to me.
I normally don't like to think about how I made Stiles the way he is, but I don't know, it's kind of interesting.

//Flashback//
"What do you mean you don't want to be human anymore?" I demand, in a state of shock. What happened in Beacon Hills in the past few months? What made him think that becoming supernatural was the answer? "Stiles you can't be serious. Have you thought this through?" I couldn't help but continue firing questions at him. This is serious.
He laughs a little and throws his hands on my shoulders. His hands slide down my arms to my hands. I kept eye contact, and I'm grateful that Stiles can't hear my erratic heart. He keeps hold of one of my hands and lets the other drop to my side. He keeps his gaze on our connected hands while speaking:
"Scott and the pack kicked me out for being weak and defenseless. After everything I've done out of sheer selflessness, and they tell me that I'm useless. And after the few hours of driving here, I can't help but begin to agree with Derek." His brown eyes meet mine, and he says, "And I want to change that. I want to make them regret leaving me behind and not believing in me. Please, Mads. I know what you're capable of, and I want to be capable, too."
I sigh and break the intense eye contact. "Stiles, are you sure this is what you want?" I ask, and I can't help but feel pained. I can't believe he thinks so lowly of himself. I mean, he's probably done more for that pack than they ever realized. I don't know the situation, but I do know Stiles, and he would do anything in his power to help his friends. "I mean, I could always teach you some hardcore karate instead?" I suggest, trying to ease the mood we have going on here.
We laugh for a second, and I pull my gaze back up to meet his eyes. "I'm sure," is all he says.

"Alright," I confirm slowly. "Well, let's get you inside, make up some food, and see what we can do."
Hand in hand, we walk up to the house, and do what we planned to.
Sitting at the table an hour or so later, we find ourselves surrounded by old books. "Okay," I start after a while of each of us reading. "Do you have any idea what you want to be? I've been reading through, and all of this looks pretty easy. For me, anyway." I smile sheepishly, but I internally cringe. This is going to cause Stiles a lot of pain, and I'm not sure if I can handle it.
He laughs and awkwardly scratches the back of his neck. "Nope. I actually have no clue," he replies and pushes away the most detailed Bestiary of all time with a sigh. "So I guess I'm your new science experiment," he says with a smirk, and I couldn't help but laugh.
"I wouldn't put that much trust in me; you know that I don't always know when to stop. That's not exactly safe, Stiles." I warn, uncrossing my legs to lean forward across the table.
He looks at me, serious for one time in his life. "I don't care what you do, okay Mads? I trust you." He smiles and grabs another slice of pizza from the box in the middle of the table.
I return the smile, trying to swallow the nerves rising in my chest. I'm confident in my skills as a witch, but I just don't want to hurt Stiles, and I have a feeling that's exactly what's going to happen.
//Flashback Over//
Stiles greeted his dad with a smile and took him on a tour of our temporary home. That left the four of us in a square around the rectangular table.
"We don't consider the McCall pack a threat, right?" Connor asks with doubt in his voice. He probably just wants to make sure that we are on the same page.
Nate scoffs. "Of course not. Sure, they might have a True Alpha, but we have a Stiles," he says with a smirk.
I smile sweetly. "Correction: I have a Stiles. You guys just have the honor of hanging around him sometimes." They roll their eyes but end up grinning or laughing at me.
"Alright, sure, whatever you say, Maddie," Emily teases in a sing-song voice. I laugh along before we change the subject to casual things before Stiles and Papa S come inside from taking a walk around the scenic property.
The door slides shut smoothly, and they approach us, laughing. "Yeah, Maddie is kind of a karate master. She learned everything she knows from me though, so don't let her convince you it was the other way around," Stiles continues, and his father just laughs and shakes his head at his son.
"So," Papa S starts, "Stiles told me all about you guys, and any friend, or more, of Stiles is a friend of mine." We smile up at him, and Emily gestures to the open seat next to her for him to take a seat.
"What? We can't be more than friends, Sheriff?" Nate teases, and the elder man chuckles.
"Absolutely not, Nathan." Nate fakes being wounded while Connor howls obnoxiously in laughter.
The teasing comes to a halt as Stiles comes out of the kitchen with tons of food in his arms. "Alright, who's ready for some food?"

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.

The Book of Rune
If you like moderately well-researched semi-medieval military logistics with some fantasy twists, and also conspiracy, and exploration, and violence, and maybe a dash of road movie, hey, Ruen just might be your thing. Plot-wise, basically there's a guy who got fired by Death, a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and a slave general who wouldn't mind retiring but ended up on a mass suicide mission. If you were looking for a less TL;DR version, a guy who got fired by Death meets a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and they try to get the guy un-fired while also trying to come to terms with death together (ooohhhh, look, I'm deep). Meanwhile a slave general does something stupid and ends up being sent on a suicide mission, and he tries to wreak havoc and save lives at the same time. The threads come together, I swear. This is a rough draft of a fantasy semi-book that I've had in the back of my head for some time. I've written a variety of short stories set in the world over the past three years, and I finally kicked myself into writing the actual story. Very much a slow work in progress. Occasional violence (okay, well, maybe more than occasional), occasional foul language.
