I watched from a distance as they tortured her. Why would they do that to her? What has she done to them? She looks so innocent and sweet. I felt the wind rustle my dark wings and I shivered a bit.
I watched as they threw her over a bridge. They had just murdered her and didn't seem sad or guilty about it. What's wrong with them?! I watched as they left quickly. They looked all around and made sure to leave no tracks behind. I flew across and went inside the freezing cold water and got her out. I gently set her down and scanned her quickly.
She had multiple cuts,bruises, and her ribs were broken. And she has a deep cut on her throat. Not deep enough to do any real damage but deep enough to almost kill her. I picked her up and wrapped my wings around her and healed her. Before I laid her back down and searched her memory.
Her name was April Mendez. She was 24 years old. Her mother died in a car crash while she was pregnant with a baby girl. And she was the daughter of the richest man in New Jersey. April was a smart girl, she knew what she wanted. Her outgoing personality made her stand out from the crowd. She was a tiny little thing, with lots of spunk. Then I closed my eyes and took a deep breathe before I opened them and picked her up and took her home.
I unlocked the window to her room and went in. Then laid her gently on the bed. I studied her... She had long black hair and a nice well built body. But I shook my head and thought that this wasn't her time yet then I gently whispered in her ear, "April wake up. It's time to get your revenge..."
