~Penelope~

6 months later.

I was changing into a white tank top with some black tights , which was all I was wearing now since my belly was growing rapidly not to mention my swollen feet. I put on my Nike shoes put my hair in a messy bun, I sighed at my reflection as I grabbed my purse. I was going to see my babies gender today I am so excited I hope it's a boy , but I really don't care I love my baby even if its not a boy I just care if its healthy, I was walking down to the living room, when I saw Joshua with my little cousin Stephanie on his lap she was giggling as he was blowing on her tummy. I smiled.

"We'll I'm off see you guys later." I smiled at them as I felt someone pull my wrist I turned around to face Joshua.

"Yes?" I asked suspicious.

"Can I come with you I mean if you let me?" He asked smiling.

"Sure." I said as I opened the door. We got in the car but Joshua took my keys.

"Ah,ah I'm driving sweet cheecks." He teased as he opened the passengers seat for me.

"Thanks." I said crossing my arms over my huge chest, my breast got big well there getting it seems like everyday there getting bigger I fell like there about to explode.

"Your very welcome." He said Joshua has been flirting with me, but I just don't want a relationship, I want to focus on giving my kid a good life without River. Rivers wedding is in a couple of weeks and I'm sure as hell not going but I don't have to worry because Marcus, Rivers beta said he won't mark her to at least spare my life which I really wouldn't care but now that I'm having a child I care.

"We're here." He said opening by door for me and helping me out.

"Thanks." I said.

"Your welcome." He said then put a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Your very beautiful." He whispered to me.

"Thanks." I said then he was leaning in to kiss me but I turned so he kissed my cheek.

"Can we go." I said uncomfortable.

" sure." He said a little aggressive. Ugh why when I'm pregnant guys wanna date me ugh!

We walked into the doctors office and I signed in and sat down in the uncomfortable seats I wish River wasn't such an asshole & would take responsibility for his actions, I mean it's nice Joshua came, but honestly it seems weird.

"Penelope Vermont!" The lady called out snapping me out of my thoughts. Yes I used my Rivers last name I hope karma doesn't come bite me in the ass for that. I walked into a cute little room that was pink with cute giraffe and zebras and I laid down on the white comfy bed and waited patiently for the doctor.

"Hello I'm doctor Gonzales." The man said as he turned around and looked at me and his whole body stiffened , he looked awful familiar , but were have I seen this man before I mean he looks so familiar, Hmm I just shrugged it off.

"Hello I'm Penelope Vermont." I said with a smile on my face.

"And this is your husband?" He asked

"No my Friend , Joshua ." I said

"Nice to meet you." He said shaking Joshua's hand.

"Now can you please lift up your shirt so I can see your belly." He instructed and I followed. He squeezed some blue jelly on my tummy it was cold I flinched a little at the coldness being spread around my stomach but then I was shocked when I heard a heart beat.

"There's the body and there's the head and arms and legs." The doctor smiled.

"Would you like to know the gender?" He asked.

"Yes." I said a little to quickly feeling the anticipation.

"It's a girl, congratulations." He said.

"Thanks." I said as tears of joy streamed down my face. He smiled & passed me a small towel to wipe off the jelly. I was so happy and I could feel my wolfs happy energy all around me I was so happy. We got in the car and I was so happy we stopped at McDonalds and I ordered 20 piece chicken nuggets with fries and a Sprite.

"Thanks." I said when we got home.

"For what?" He asked.

"For everything for being my friend, helping me out, and buying me food and coming to the doctors with me." I said placing my hand on his.

"Your so very welcome." He said kissing my cheek, I smiled an got out the car as Joshua helped me get out. I walked carefully inside feeling uneasy like someone was in the house. I froze in my steps.

"What's wrong?" Joshua asked.

"I think there is someone in my room." I said as I saw my curtain shift a little.

"It's probably the wind, but I'll go check." He said as he led me inside to sit on the couch.

"Penelope!" He yelled as I got up & quickly jogged up the stairs as I reached my room I saw Joshua in a headlock.

"What the fuck!" I yelled as the man looked up to reveal none other than River.

"LET HIM GO!" I yelled.

"Of course." He said releasing him buckling to himself.

"We were just playing, weren't we?" He said amusement leaving his every word.

"You son of a-"

"Joshua stop it's okay." I said standing I front of him.

"Let me talk to him alone." I said.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes trust me." I said as he nodded.

"I'll be outside the door." He said shooting daggers at River.

"What the fuck are you doing here!? I yelled at him as I closed my door.

"To get you back your dad send me to pick you up." He smirked.

"The hell I will I will not leave I am doing way better here At least I don't hurt as much a I did before." I said calming down a bit and his eyes were locked on my stomach.

"My wolf was right , is she okay?" He asked placing his hands on my belly.

"Get your hands off me." I said taking his hands off my stomach

"What do you mean your wolf was right?" I asked.

"My wolf told me." He smiled at me I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'm not going anywhere." I said crossing my arms.

"Too bad your dad says we have to go now." He said annoyed.

"No I'm not going anywhere especially not with you." I said angry.

"Listen they're bad people after you & im trying to protect my child, ok." He said.

"Hahaha that's funny, since when did you care about MY child." I said.

"Penelope stop being difficult." He said pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Fine ill begin packing." I said as I went over to my closet and I opened it to find nothing inside?!

"Where's my clothes?" I asked panicked.

"I packed for you while you were at the doctors with Joshua!" He snapped when said Joshua.

"How do you know his name?" I asked.

"Penelope I'm not stupid I've been keeping eyes on you." He winked at me.

"Fucking weirdo!" I yelled at him. He just chuckled as I groaned and walked down the steps angry that I'm leaving I hugged my aunt goodbye and her two daughters and finally to Joshua.

"I'm going to miss you don't forget to visit me." I said hugging him.

"I won't." He smiled as we pulled away and I glanced over to an angry River oh so I can't hug someone but he can fuck around now that's just cruel. We got out and I kissed my aunt,uncles, cousins, and Joshua's cheek.

2hours later

~Penelope~

I was staring out the window. When I looked over at River asleep and I looked at our driver his focus was complete on the road and out of nowhere I saw that River had woken up staring at me as I rubbed my stomach.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing." He said getting closer to me.

"Aren't you going to get married in a couple of weeks?" I asked him as I felt his breath on my neck.

"Yes." He said looking at me as of debating something. I stopped rubbing my belly & looked out the window.

"How far are you?" He asked.

"What?" I asked confused.

"How far are you from giving birth?" He asked again looking out the window.

"6months going on 7 next week." I said proudly.

"Are you nervouse?" He asked

"Very." I said placing my hand over my belly and rubbing it.

"I am to." He said looking at my baby bump and smiling at it with so much love.

"I'm sorry if I ever hurt you." He said all of a sudden braking the silence.

"What do you mean IF you did." I said

"We'll I'm apologizing you don't have to be so damn stubborn penny." He said did he just call me "penny?!"

"Fuck you." I said smiling at him.

"Stop being so stubborn." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever." I said. I decided to fall asleep so I rested my head on the soft chair but I felt someone pull me on there shoulder and I fell asleep faster than you can spell your name!

3 weeks later

-River-

I was getting ready in my tuxedo I really didn't wanna marry her, but my father said I had to marry Jennifer because my father will get alpha Johns, Jennifer's dads land and his pack because alpha John is stepping down as alpha, but I hate the fact that he says it's for the pack. I mean at first I did wanna marry her, because I mean she's fucking hot, but all she's good for is for getting on her knees. This is bullshit it's all some stupid game for dad he just wants to make it sound as if it isn't for him. It just gets on my nerves! I hope penny isn't here it would be very embarrassing. I was about to walk out when the door knob was jiggling. I went over to unlock it.

"Come in." I said then the door opened and my father appeared.

"Hey son the ceremony starts in 4 minutes are you ready?" He asked happily.

"Whatever." I said with no emotion.

"Listen to me River you will look happy on your wedding day." He said serious.

"Sure okay can we go now." I said annoyed.

"Look son in sorry but things don't go as planned when.........

"When what your dad is planning your ducking wedding to the packs slut or when you are having to get married to someone besides your mate and watch her suffer day and night with your child!" I yelled at the top of my lungs angry. He just stared at me in pure shock then he looked hurt.

"Dad look I didn't........"

"It's okay let's get going." He said okay that was complete way out of line I shouldn't have done that maybe if I just kept my big mouth shut I wouldn't have done that and my stupid wolf had to join in my anger! I walked into the church and stood at the altar I saw a whole bunch of people and finally I see eyes on Penelope she had her hair in curls, a golden dress that showed off her beautiful baby bump, light makeup, and she just glowed under the light. I smiled at how she looked she looked over at me and smiled then turned her head back to her sister Bianca. Then the music started and I saw the devil herself walk down the isle she looked very stunning but penny did mostly.

"Do you Jennifer Olivera take River Vermont as your lovely wedded husband in sickness and in health?" The pastor asked.

"I do." She said happily.

"And do you River Vermont Take Jennifer Olivera as your lovely wedded wife till death do you part?" The priest asked.

When I was going to open my mouth I heard a painful screech sounded out through the whole church and penny was on the floor as I picked her up bridal style.

"Someone call the ambulance!" I yelled over to the crowd of people who where around us.

"I already did." Mason yelled worried.

"Ah!" She yelled.

"Sh babe it's okay just breath." I said rubbing circles on her back as I held her.

"Don't tell me to ducking breath when I fell, ah!" She yelled closing her eyes as tears fell from her eyes I wiped then away.

"The ambulance is here!" Marcus yelled.

"I'm coming." I said running with her in my arms tell her very thing is going to be okay. I decided to get in the ambulance with her.

"River is..... I don't make it please let my baby know I love her and to never forget that and that you were a wonderful mate to me." She said coughing.

"No penny don't say that I love you please don't die." I said crying and rubbing circles on her hand. We finally got to the hospital and they were taking Penelope over to her hospital room I had to wait outside I just couldn't bare to be away from here soon enough Bianca comes.

She slaps me," this is all your fault!"she yelled crying.

"Your right." I said as more tears escaped from my eyes. I've never cried the last time I cried was when my mother died she pulled me into a hug.

"look I'm sorry I jut wanted to blame someone for my sister but it's not your fault." She said as I cried into her shoulder.

"I just want her to be okay." I said crying hard.

5 hours later.

The doctor had come out of Penelope's bedroom and looked very tired he had to emotion on his face which made me very nervous.

"Is she okay?" Monica asked.

"Yes ma'm your daughter is fine but we had to have a C-section on her because she was in a lot of stress we had to cut out the baby but she is okay too." The doctor smiled.

"Can I see her?" I asked.

"Of course are you the father?" He asked.

"Yes." I said proudly. He led me to a room with one baby girl.

"This is your daughter, congratulations.' He said smiling and left me alone.

"Hey baby I'm your daddy." I said smiling as tears of joy flooded down my face.

"Mommy is sick but she will see you soon." I said kissing her forehead. I decided to go see Penelope I opened her room door.

*Penelope*

I was sitting up on my bed looking at my hands and at my flat stomach where is my baby bump? Am I okay? Is she okay? What happened? Where the only questions going through my head and finally the door opened revealing my mate.

"Penelope your awake!' He said happily kissing my lips soft and tenderly the kiss held love and comfort and I loved it. We pulled apart.

"Where is my daughter?" I asked.

"Our daughter." He said.

"Yes where is she?" I asked concerned.

"Ill tell the nurse to bring her." He said as he stepped out and then a few minutes later the nurse came back with my baby daughter she was beautiful she had black little hair, with green eyes, deep dimples on her cheeks and she was tan. I smiled and stroked her cheek and kissed her forehead.

"What would you like to name her?" The nurse asked.

"Vianna Cecilia Vermont." I said smiling at River.

"That's a lovely name." She said as she walked out.

"She's beautiful." He said kissing her little hand as she smiled.

"Hey baby I'm your mommy." I said as I looked up to see River staring at her with so much love, protection, and care. I smiled at him I pulled on his arm for him to come closer I kissed his lips with love we pulled away when the door opened and revealed my brother mason looking guilty?

"What's wrong?" I asked standing up noticing I was wearing some grey sweat pants and a white tank top with my neon pink bra I placed Vianna in Rivers arms and walked over to Mason and hugged him.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Penny I'm sorry but it's time to tell you." He said stroking my cheek.

"Tell me what?" I asked suspicious.

"Your real parents are here." He said.

I felt so shocked and hurt then my dream came to me I was that baby!
