NINA

She stared at him, his hair was messy, his fangs and sharp teeth are bared, dark veins covered the side of his body up to his face covering half of it, his eyes... His eyes were so black it looks like it's hollowed, it frightened her, this isn't Adonis, he is not her mate.

''That's not him.'' Nina Whispered as tears treatens to fall.

''It's not him, where is my mate.'' The king held her shoulder and made her face him.

''That is him, he is trapped inside his own body." He said, Nina shaked her in denial, she don't wanna believe him.

"What happened to him?" She asked as finally tears starts coming out of her eyes.

"He...he got infected. The vein was because he was bitten." She sob and stared at his mate on the wall. Helpless and not himself. She covered her mouth with her hand.

"We....we will try and find the cure for him. As of now we just need to wait for it." The king said.

"Wait for it? For how long? Don't we have something alternative to do to get him out of it? To get rid of those dark veins?" She asked while sobbing. Then they heard Adonis roar and groaned trying to free himself. He looks to be possessed.

"There is only one Alternative thing to do, but that would be dangerous." The two of them look at the person who just spoke. It was Princess Sky. The king gave her a court nod.

"What do you mean by that?" Nina wipe her tears away.

"I....i used to be in his position. His unconscious, and that you were seeing is his body being controled by some dark entity. My guess is that, the dark soul of the beast transfered himself through the bite wound. Your mate is still inside him only asleep. If your bond with him is not affected you could pull that string to bring him forward. I know you know what string i meant." Nina nods her head. But only she had one problem. She couldn't find the string the connects them.

"You already knew about this? Why didn't you tell us sooner?" The king asked.

"Because it does not work 100%." Sky's short reply. She's looking at Nina.

"I can't find it." Nina said, crying much harder. Sky shook her head and wipe Nina's tears.

"It's in there Nina. Don't cry, it's just.... The bond had been hidden from you by this entity. You just gotta look hard and deep. If you still can't find it...call for him." Sky said, Nina could only nod.

"You said you were in his position before. How did that happen?" The king asked, Sky looked at him.

"This isn't about me. And that does not matter here." She said.

"But for now, we need to go back up their. Your daughter is looking for you." She said to Chris before guiding Nina. Nina looked back at Adonis for the last time before she let Sky lead her out the way.

"I'm so useless." Nina whispered.

"Hush now. It happen for a reason. You are not useless." Sky said as she gently hug Nina. Suddenly a royal guard came in.

"My King. Rouges on the border." The king growled.

"Right now?" He asked the Guard.

"Yes sire. But their leader said they know princess Nina. They told me to tell their Names to her. They are Mason and Troy." Nina looked at the Queen.

"They are my brothers. I'm going there. Take me to them." She told the guard who nods his head. He started walking and she followed him.

"I'm comming with you." Chris said and together they walk. Though they need to ride a horse up to the border. Upon arriving Nina saw atleast about 59 werewolves on their wolf form waiting there. Only two werewolves were on their human form. Mason and Troy

Nina went down from her horse and runs toward them hugging them so tight. Specially Troy whom she gave a kiss on his cheeks.

"I missed you." She said. Troy gaze soften.

"Who made you cry? Imma beat him." He joked making Nina smile, but she didn't answer his question.

"What brings you here?" The king asked. Mason steps forward.

"This." He said, then a man came out from the crowd carrying a horrifying creature with him. Nina couldn't help but gasp.

"This ugly ass looking creature suddenly came out of the hole in Southern border,near the port. Your people were horrified to see this." The king dissamount from his horse.

"How big is the hole?" He asked looking at the dead devil hound. The body is cut in half so he is dead.

"About the size of a small tavern." Was Mason reply.

"What is that?" Nina asked them. The creature also smelled awful.

"That is the hound from the underworld. Sent here to kill us all." The king's reply. He looked at Mason.

"Come with us. We need to talk."
