Author was busy reading some old books that were written by the book keepers before her. She was looking for a way to temporarily seal the gates that was opening. The Regent wasn't as strong as she thought she was, although being one of the grandchildren of Hecate And Circe, two different Goddesses. The Regent's grandfather is the son of Hecate and Her grandmother is the Daughter of Circe. So why wasn't she strong enough to do it? Was it because she was also cursed?

Author sighed, that was not only her problem, The king of the Fucking East is making her head ache. King Diomedes a tall, large and handsome man, who is by the way a 130 years old man, is mated to a 13 years old omega female.

"Dear mother! What is it with you pairing people who's age gap are like 100 years apart? Em i being surrounded by pedophiles? They are older than their mate for Goddess sake! Your making my job harder." She murmured. Now thinking about it Selene was only 17 when she got mated, the kings at that time were 35 and Vallerie is 32....Adonis and Bryan are 31 and Nina is 19... Lena and Catherine is both 229 years old and Sky...oh poor Sky, she's only 18... And now king Diomedes. Author almost jumped when the door of her room burst opened. Their standing was Chris.

"Can't you knock?" She asked annoyed.

"We need you to see something. There something wrong with Adonis." Chris said. He looked worried so Author thought it must be something bad. And when she arrived at the room, oh boy it was really bad.

"What the hell? Where did this cam from?" She asked looking at Adonis body. This vein, she knows it. This vein sucked peoples lives. But in Adonis case, it's different, she quickly checked his pulse while being carefull not to touch the vein, his heart beat is increasing by the minute, it means his shifting, but he is totally unconsciouscons and his wolf is the only one conscious, it means if he ever shifted it'll be a big trouble. They need to find a way to remove the veins.

"What is that?" Chris asked.

"Do not touch him. This vein can only be found in the soul eating tree. Which was by the way have been all burned during the reign of the 3rd protector. That vein slowly kills it victims but for Adonis....it'll drive him insane. We need to lock him up until we found the cure." Chris growled.

"Lock him up? Are you insane? What if he dies?" Author glared at Chris.

"He won't!. Just do what i said and be carefull, do not touch the veins. His wound must be infected by those rotting creatures." Author bit her lips. She knows what the cure is but she doesn't know where to find it.

"Where do we find a cure?" Chris asked, to be honest he look exhausted.

"I don't know, but we need to find some blood flower. A crimson colored flower that blooms in the cold waste land of the west." Her eyes fell down on Sky, whose eyes were electric blue.

"There is a garden in the east side of our territory. Near the border of our land, my people grows those kind of flowers before...but....the vampires burned them all and banned us from planting them again. So i'm not sure if we still could give something to you." Sky answered. Author shook her head she looked around the room and noticed that Bryan and Nina wasn't there. Her eyes widened.

"Where is Bryan and Nina?" She questioned Chris.

"I suggested to not wake them up. Nina would probably panic and would only get the situation worse and so is Bryan." Selene explained.

"Nina should have been here the moment something happened to Adonis, she should be feeling that something is wrong with her mate." She said staring at Adonis.

NINA

The sun was already up when Nina woke up. She's feeling heavy. Her whole body seems to ache, when she look at her side Bryan was already gone, but she heard the shower running so he must be in there. Nina shake her head and groaned, she closed her eyes and tried to feel Adonis...she tried to look for the string that connected them...but she couldn't. Fear crept into Nina, she abruptly stands up and went for the door and opened it only to come face to face with the king.

"Your Majesty." Nina bowed.

"Nina.....i.....i need you to come with me." Nina could see the Sadness in the kings eyes. And once again the fear doubled. Making her feel sick.

"Where's Adonis?" She quickly asked.

"Alive." The king's short reply.

"Where is he? Why can't i feel him?" The king growled, shutting her up, when she didn't speak anymore the king gestured for her to follow him. But she hesitated

"What about Bryan?" She asked looking back inside their room.

"Miguel will deal with him." After that Nina nodded her head and followed him. They walked along the corridor but Nina Got confused when the king brought her to the underground place wher cells made of thick bars and laced with wolfbane rests. The room was cold and scary. And from afar she could hear growling and groaning. Angry growls.

"Where is he? Why are you bringing me here?" She asked Chris but he didn't answer. The growl started to get louder and louder. And finally Chris stops walking, he stands their not moving for a couple of second, and then he steps aside. Nina gave him a confused look but he didn't answer her silent questions. Instead he pointed at the last cell. Where inside of it was Adonis, he's chained on the wall.
