In the kitchen, Elijah finds Hayley rooting through the fridge to make herself breakfast as Raven stares at her phone screen, texting Stiles. Elijah leans in the doorway and smiles at Hayley.
"Good morning"
"Hey"
Raven just waves from her position on a stool, still typing on her new phone, courtesy of Klaus.
Rebekah enters through the back door, dragging a trashcan behind her.
"Listen, I know I'm only one of two in this house that actually drinks milk, but would it kill any of you to make sure it's on the grocery list?" Hayley asks and Raven spies the milk with a grin but stays quiet.
"Speaking of, add bleach," Rebekah says.
She stomps through the kitchen and into the living room to clean up the mess the boys left. Elijah digs around in a cupboard while Hayley pulls ice cream out of the freezer which Raven steals and grabs the spoon that Elijah was holding out to her.
"You know, I do hope my siblings were hospitable to you both in my absence," Elijah says.
"In your absence, as you like to call it- which is a way-too-polite way of saying that your brother put a dagger in your heart"
She looks up to see Elijah bringing a bowl, a spoon, and a bag of cereal to the counter.
"I have been attacked by French Quarter vampires, I've had to live in a house with a secret dungeon full of coffins, and I was nearly murdered by witches who are convinced my baby is Lucifer. And Raven had an arrow through her heart"
Elijah smiles sympathetically as he pulls orange juice and milk out of the fridge, pours Hayley a bowl of cereal, and then fills it with milk. When Hayley realizes that they had milk all along, she looks slightly guilty and embarrassed as Raven snickers.

"Oh, milk. They've been fine. Your siblings are weirdly protective, I know I have you to thank for that"
"I'm just happy to see that you're in one piece"
He smiles at her and hands her the bowl of cereal as Raven eats the ice cream from the tub.
"So, back to the murderous witches. I have some concerns"
"They're evil. And, my life and Raven's is still magically linked to Sophie Deveraux, which is not comforting" Hayley says. "But fortunately with Raven being immortal it appears the loophole is if she dies we don't"
"Yes, I think it's time we took care of that little problem"
Rebekah suddenly re-enters the kitchen, dragging the corpse of the girl Klaus killed across the floor behind her and Raven places the tub of ice cream down.
"I am all for it. As soon as they're unlinked, we get to leave this crap town. Who do we have to kill?" Rebekah asks.
"Probably no one"
Hayley gives Elijah a significant look of disbelief. Elijah rolls his eyes and sighs.
"Alright, potentially everyone"
He turns and leaves and everyone heads off to do their own thing.
Raven is sat reading when a sharp pain in her neck makes her yelp.
"What the fuck?" Raven asks, pulling her finger away to reveal blood.
She quickly looks in the mirror and spots a small mark on her neck.
"Sophie" Raven and Hayley say at the same time.
"Aw, well, that's sweet of you to say. Remember it when I'm gone"
"Gone? Where are you going?" Raven asks, walking into the room and shrugging off her jacket.
"I only came to town to make sure everything was okay with Elijah. He's fine, and he hasn't punished Klaus for daggering him, so as usual, they'll be thick as thieves, and I'll be left to clean up the mess. It's time for me to fly the coop"

"Oh," Hayley says.
Feeling awkward, she goes to bite the apple in her hand, but she suddenly starts to feel woozy before she gets the chance to eat it.
"What's wrong?"
"I dunno, probably morning sickness"
Rebekah places a hand on Hayley's forehead.
"Oh, you're burning up, actually," Rebekah says, before doing the same with Raven. "You too"
Raven grabs a cigarette and stands on the balcony.
"What are you doing?" Rebekah asks. "You're running a fever"
"Shapeshifter fevers run ridiculously high as we're descended from Phoenixes," Raven says. "So I'm trying to cool down"
Raven places a hand to her forehead and sits down against the railing.
Raven stays outside, trying to cool down but to no avail. Hayley is wrapped in a towel, sitting outside beside the swimming pool. Rebekah stands behind her, checking her temperature, while Elijah assists Sophie in helping with the herbs. He shrugs off his jacket and rolls up his sleeves.
"She's burning up! We need to do this now. Rebekah grab Raven!"
"Get her in the water!" Sophie says.
Elijah jumps into the pool and helps Hayley in. Sophie mixes herbs in a cup and follows them into the water as well.
"I don't see how a midnight swim is supposed to help," Rebekah says, holding Raven in her arms as she stands in the pool, wincing when the heat of Raven's skin comes into contact with her own.
"Her temperature is sky-high. The water, with the help of the herbs, should cool us down" Sophie says.
She hands Hayley the herbal concoction
Raven groans in pain as her eyes glow orange causing Rebekah to hold her tighter.
"This is never gonna work," Rebekah says. "Raven's heating the pool water"
Rebekah gets Raven out of the pool and follows. Raven's eyes flutter and Rebekah sighs before helping her up.
Rebekah places Raven in her bed, pushing her hair out of her face as Raven's eyes close.
"Davina needs to hurry" Rebekah mutters, dabbing at Raven's forehead.
Raven gasps, feeling the link lift from them all and her breathing settles out but her temperature was still soaring.
"She's not well Nik," Rebekah says. "She still has a fever, do you think you could watch her?"
"I'm more than capable of playing nurse Rebekah," Klaus says.
"Well here's the cloth and you can work out the rest," Rebekah says. "I'm off to get some beauty sleep"
"You need it," Klaus says and Rebekah gives him the middle finger.
Klaus sits on the edge of the bed and Raven smiles at him weakly.
"Hey you," She says.
"How are you feeling?" Klaus asks, dabbing the cloth on her head.
"Like I've had magical fever inducing shit running through my veins," Raven says.
"My child's first word is going to be a curse with you around," Klaus says and Raven grins at him.
"That's the goal. I'm going to be a terrible influence on your kid," Raven says and Klaus smiles at her.
"Oh I don't doubt it," Klaus says.
