Cameron sat down on the couch in the living room with Miles, the young male was still frowning.

"Miles... Is everything okay?" Cameron looked at him, gently petting his head.

"You were a rogue right?"

Cameron paused for a moment, frozen like a deer in headlights.

"I was. I don't want to talk about it, Miles... It brings back a lot of bad memories. "He pulled his hand away from Miles and faced the tv, his hands in his lap.

"Cameron, please. I need answers. I'm too scared to ask Alpha Azure and you're the only person I can talk to about these things." Miles placed a reassuringly hand on his friend's leg, Cameron flinched slightly.

"I know it was rough being out there, tortured and abused. I lost my wolf abilities because of those damn vampires. "The young male continued to talk.

"Miles. You wouldn't understand what I went through...I- nothing. "Cameron got up from the couch, clenching his jaw, Miles noticed this and got up himself.

"I'm sorry for what you went through. I am but it's behind now! No one is going to hurt you anymore. We're a family. I'll protect you! I'll train every day to get stronger and protect you. "Miles walked up to Cameron and hugged the taller male.

The taller male froze in his spot again, only Noah would hug him.

"T-thanks Miles. "Cameron hesitatingly rugged Miles' hair. "You should get back before it gets dark. "

The front door opened, this spooked both the males in the living room, footsteps were heard, Miles quickly hid behind Cameron.

"Cam?" A voice called out, Miles felt a threatening aura enter the room, slightly less than Azures.

"H-here. "Cameron responded the smaller male held onto him, peering from behind the male to see who entered the house.

Noah walked into the living room, his brows knotted in confusion, he noticed Cameron standing there looking slightly anxious.

"Who is behind you?" Noah asked lowly, his eyes fixed on his mate, Cameron nervously smiled and stepped to the side, revealing Miles.

"Noah... This is Miles. He staying with Luna currently. "Cameron spoke out, still anxious.

Noah picked up his scent, nodding slightly.

"That's the scent I picked up earlier. Well, Miles, I'm Noah. The Beta of the pack and Camerons mate. "Noah said with pride.

Miles waved back. "I should go back then... Bye Cameron. "

"I'll see you later Miles. "

Noah climbed into bed with a heavy sigh, Cameron took his tablets quietly and sat down on the bed too with a heavy sigh.

"Azure is holding a meeting tomorrow about the rogue kidnappings. He wants us to join the meeting tomorrow. "Noah glanced at Cameron.

"Meeting? With all the Alphas in the state? Followed by their mates? No thank you, I rather stay at home. "He climbed under the covers and turned towards Noah.

"We have to go. All Betas and their mates must attend. It's mandatory. "Noah held his lover's hand and gently kissed it.

A light blush dusted Cameron's cheeks. "I don't know Noah. "

"Please, you'll always be by my side, Azure will next to you also, no one will ask you anything. "Noah sighed softly as he laid his head down on his pillow, still holding his lover's hand. Cameron moved closer towards Noah.

"Fine... I'll go. "Noah smiled and kissed his mate with glee. "Noah! Stop!!"

"You love my kisses~" The taller male smirked as he continued to kiss his mate, grabbing him around the waist.

"I do but we have a meeting tomorrow and need to wake up early. "Cameron wiggled trying to escape his lover's kisses.

"I love you, Cam. "

"I love you too Noah, you big dork. "

Azure climbed into his black Chevrolet truck, his mate talking to her sister about somethings. The Alpha glanced behind him seeing his Beta climbing a similar truck with his mate, a deep sigh escaped from him.

Dark bags hung under his eyes from getting no sleep the previous night, stress has been eating away his sleeping schedule.

"Azure, baby. You need sleep, I'll drive." Melanie climbed into the passenger seat, looking at her mate.

"I'll be fine Mel. I'll sleep at the hotel after the meeting. "Azure placed his seatbelt on and turned the engine on.

"No, you're sleeping now, get out of the driver's seat. I'm driving. "

Mel growled softly as she climbed out of the truck, Azure groaned loudly and got out also, he hated it when Melanie growled at him.

He wasn't scared of her. He was scared of her anger issues.

He passed Mel, as he walked around and climbed into the passenger seat, he pouted slightly.

Melanie rolled her eyes and fixed the seat. "Stop being a baby, you need to sleep. "

Azure continues to pout as he looked out his window.

"Is Azure pouting?" Taysa asked standing outside next to Luna.

"Yeah, he does that when Mel shouts at him. The big guy isn't so scary when he's in trouble. "Luna smirked slightly as she balanced at Miles, he waved at Cameron who was already in the truck.

"Well, I hope that the meeting goes well." Taysa pushed her glasses up. "Wanna eat ice cream?"

"Sounds good. Let's go, Miles. "Luna waved at her sister before going back inside with Miles.

The drive was long, roughly about 6 hours to the hotel that all the Alphas in the state were having, Melanie, parked the truck in the parking lot and hopped out.

"Mel... Where's Azure?" Noah asked as he carried a bag, Cameron climbing out also.

"He's asleep. He didn't sleep well last night. Go inside meanwhile. We'll catch up. "

Noah nodded and glanced towards his mate, Cameron closed the door and walked to his boyfriend. "I'm already uncomfortable Noah. "

"Don't worry love. "Noah smiled and kissed his mate's forehead, having to bend over a bit, they both walked into the hotel holding hands.

As they entered the hotel, a dark aura could be felt, people staring at the two, Cameron immediately looked down at the floor feeling very uncomfortable at everyone starting.

Noah, on the other hand, glared back at everyone who was giving nasty looks. Gay Betas weren't very welcomed in packs normally, it wasn't "normal".

Cameron tightened his grip on Noah's hand, he noticed this and held him close, continuing to glare at everyone, they shortly got to the front desk.

"We're checking in. Under Azure. "

"Ah yes, here's your key sir. Enjoy your stay here. "The receptionist greeted them, handing them two sets of keys.

Another aura entered the place, everyone turned their attention to Azure, they immediately turned away in fear.

He gave a permanent glare since he was sleep-deprived, Melanie followed after him with a cheerful attitude.

He walked over to Noah and Cameron, looking at his Beta tiredly. "Where's the keys. I'm fucking tired. "He yawned loudly, Melanie glanced around and rolled her eyes.

Noticing that people were staring at her now, she tugged on Azure's sleeve, he looked around and growled lowly.

"Let's go. "The four of them walked towards the elevator more like dragging Azure to the elevator.

The rest of the evening was quiet, nobody interrupted them, especially since Azure made sure nobody did.

The following morning arrived and Azure was back to his normal self, after finally sleeping a full night and eating breakfast.

"Morning Noah. "Azure saw his Beta leaving his room, Noah tiredly nodded at his Alpha.

"Morning, shall we get going to the meeting room?" The Beta glanced at Azure, "How is Melanie?"

"She's alright, tired from the drive here. She should be coming soon. How's Cam?" Azure leaned against the wall next to his door, a sigh escaped from him.

"Anxious about the whole thing, really isn't comfortable here. Can you sit next to him, so he'll feel comfortable. " Noah scratched his head as he looked down at the floor.

"No problem. There will be two meetings, one with all the Alphas and Betas, the next one is just Alphas. So you can stay in your room during the second meeting or go out. "

Noah nodded as he listened, Melanie shortly joined them and so did Cameron.

They all walked down towards the meeting room, Azure's phone started to ring.

"Go ahead, I'll meet you there. "Azure glanced towards Mel and answered the phone. Melanie glanced towards Noah and Cameron and continued to walk, the door was open sending chills down Cameron's spine.

Noah held his lover's hand and walked in, ignoring the werewolves who stared at them. Melanie walked after them, an alpha stepped up to her blocking her path, she glared up at him.

"Hey, their pretty lady~ All alone here~" He smirked, Melanie rolled her eyes annoyed.

Noah intervened and growled lowly. "Leave her alone. "

"Kinda rude to growl at an Alpha, gay Beta."

The Alpha growled back, Melanie and Cameron tried their best to pull Noah away.

"You have no title to disrespect my Beta and hit on my mate. "Azure growled loudly stepping into the room, the Alpha turned towards Azure and sneered.

"And who are you? Probably some weak ass Alpha who can't keep their Beta's to be straight. In my pack, all gay werewolves are banished to leave. "

Cameron stepped forward and glared up at the Alpha. "You are a terrible person... A more terrible Alpha. Shame on you. "He growled lowly, Azure walked past and gently pulled Cameron away.

"He is right. An Alpha like you deserves to be denounced, as Alphas we are sworn to protect our pack.

And not shame those away who are different. "Azure glared back at the Alpha, whispers started to spread.

"Gays are not welcomed here!" The Alpha snapped.

Noah growled and punched the Alpha through the face.

"Noah!" Cameron called out in shock.

Azure grabbed Noah and pulled him back before the Alpha had the chance to fight back.

The rest of the Alpha's looked away in fear, their heads facing the floor, Azure grabbed the other Alpha and dragged him outside.

"Noah. Why did you do that?" Cameron rushed to his mate, absolutely shocked, he looked at his mate's hand and sighed softly.

Noah looked at his mate. "I'm not letting some low life Alpha insult us. "

Cameron smiled slightly and kissed his cheek. "Let's get some ice for your fist. "
