Miles sat in Zander's room with Phoenix watching over him like a worried mother, it had been a month since the incident and Zan still hasn't woken up.

Azure had been training Luka meanwhile, he wanted his brothers to be strong in case of another fight, poor Luka had been stressing about his brother.

Miles, on the other hand, was scared, he didn't want to lose Zander, especially since they took him in and looked after him like a little family.

"Do you think Zander will wake up soon? I miss him. "Miles sat on the floor hugging Ezlyn who was purring softly, she had grown attached to Miles.

"We all do Miles, hopefully, he does wake up. His wounds are fully healed but he doesn't appear to be waking up soon. "Phoenix looked at Miles for a short while, his phone ringed. "I need to answer this, I'll be just outside. "He got up from his chair and exited the room leaving Miles with Ezlyn, the young male turned his attention towards Zander.

His chest slowly rising up and down at a steady pace, his wounds fully healed but left scars across his shoulder towards his chest, Azure also had similar battle scars but not fatal.

"Please wake up Zander... Everyone is worried about you... Especially Phoenix and Luka, we miss you.

"Miles mumbled out a small prayer afterward and got up from the floor, walking towards Zander and touching his forearm.

He stared at the unconscious male with a deep frown on his face, Ezlyn jumped onto the bed and meowed softly for attention from Zander.

Yet nothing changed, he continued to lay in the pack hospital bed with his heart monitor beeping occasionally.

A knock was heard on the door which caught Miles's attention, a young doctor walked in with a small frown on his face. "Still nothing Miles?"

Doctor Cameron, a transgender werewolf who was once a rogue years ago but Azure brought him in and he found his mate, he and Miles grew a small bond.

"Nothing Doctor... I wish he would wake up now. I miss him a lot. "Miles looked back towards Zander and pulled away, Cameron sighed softly.

"I know you do Miles, but give him some more time, he needs his rest."

Cameron checked all his vitals and glanced at Ezlyn, he gently pet her. "Why don't you go keep Alpha Azure company meanwhile? He's lonely in his checkup room. "

Miles nodded quickly and shortly left with Ezlyn following nearby, Cameron gave one last look at Zander and left too.

Melanie paged through a magazine as she sat in a chair, Azure sat on a bed, impatiently tapping his leg on the white floor.

"Honey, you're stressing too much. "

She glanced up from the magazine with a frown. He glanced towards her and sighed deeply, "I know Mel... There are too many things going on at once, I need to take a break from it all. "Azure glanced towards his mate and sighed loudly, she got up from the chair and gently kissed his cheek.

"You deserve a break from all this pack work, I don't like it when you stress too much. You won't sleep or eat until it's solved. "Melanie looked at her mate with a small pout, he noticed and chuckled softly.

"I'm sorry for making you worry love, you're too cute. "The alpha wrapped his arms around his muscular arms around her small figure, gently bringing her into a sweet kiss.

"Ew... That's gross. "A small voice mumbled, both werewolves looked towards the person and chuckled at his reaction.

"One day you'll find out your soul mate Miles and you'll be all over them like how I am with Mel. "Azure kissed his mate's cheek, she blushed brightly and pulled away from Azure.

"I don't think I will... Mates are weird. "Miles walked over to the bed and climbed up, sitting next to Azure. His small skinny figure being so small compared to the large alphas figure.

"Mates aren't weird, you are weird."

Azure teased Miles with a small smirk, Mel smiled at the both of them.

They all stopped when they heard a knock. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything but it's time for Alpha Azure's check-up. "Cameron stepped in, Melanie quickly nodded and scooped up Ezlyn.

"Come on Miles. "The trio shortly left leaving the doctor and alpha alone.

Azure glanced at Cameron with a deep stare, the doctor nervously shuddered.

"Is there something wrong Alpha?"

"No... Just curious about something, how have your surgeries coming along?"

"Oh. It's been going alright, painful but worth it. "A small smile appeared on the doctor's lips, a proud smile. "I just want to thank you for taking me in Alpha. I really appreciate it. "

"You don't need to thank me, you deserve to be happy. I want to thank you for helping Zander and I after the incident. "Azure sighed softly, Cameron glanced towards him and frowned.
