Phoenix panted heavily glaring towards Azure who was smirking at Phoenix.

"Come on. You can do better than that little birdie. "Azure teased as he circled Phoenix who lifted his arms in a defensive position.

"I'm not little!" Phoenix stepped towards Azure which surprised him, he raised a brow as he watched Phoenix's movements.

There was a huge size difference between the two but both of them lacked something: Phoenix lacked speed but had stealth while Azure lacked stealth but had speed.

Who would have thought that these two would get along?

Phoenix shortly got pinned to the ground by Azure who smirked. "Too slow. "

"Enough! Get off of me you heavy dog!" Phoenix protested as he thrashed around under Azure, the older male chuckled before getting off of the young male.

"I'm not heavy. "Azure pouted softly as he walked back towards Zander and Lukas place, with Phoenix walking not far behind.

"Yes, you are. You could've broken my back. "

It was a late summer afternoon with the duo making their way back inside, Azure gently placed his hand on their shoulder with a small pat.

"You did well today. Tomorrow we are going on a hike, you up for the challenge?" Azure smirked as he looked down towards Phoenix who gave a soft sigh with slumped shoulders.

"Yeah yeah, I need a seven-year nap first. "The shorter male got inside his home and walked towards Zander and Luka who were on the couch chatting to Melanie and Miles.

Melanie was playing with Miles' hair, he grew used to them. He mostly grew fond of Phoenix and Zander. Luka still scared him.

"How did you do today Phoenix?" Zander got up from the couch and walked towards Phoenix who walked towards him.

"Pretty good, Azure still whooped my ass." Phoenix wrapped his arms, Zander, in and pouted, Luka gave a soft growl from the couch.

"Not that way Luka!" Zander rolled his eyes, shortly kissing Phoenix on the head. "You'll beat him someday. "

"Sure. "Azure sat on the couch and cuddled up next to Mel, Miles got up from the floor since Mel was playing with his hair and went to Phoenix, Zander picked him up.

"Phoenix can best Azure, right Miles?" Zander chuckled softly with the youngest boy nodding eagerly.

"Hell yeah!" Miles smiled brightly hugging Pheonix.

"Cuteness. "Melanie smiled as she watched them. "I want a baby, Azure."

"What?"

A car pulled up during the late-night, Miles was asleep in his room with Phoenix drinking some coffee.

Zander was napping on the bed upstairs, Luka sat in the lounge and got up listening to the car.

"Luka, someone's here. "Phoenix placed his coffee down looking out the kitchen window towards the silver slick car outside, the taller male got up and walked towards the front door.

The duo walked out to the front, Phoenix stood behind Luka nervously, a woman climbed out of the car. Long dark hair with green eyes, fair skin, and sharp features.

"Kenna?!" Phoenix calls out seeing his older sister, she smiled at him walking towards them, Luka growled softly.

Kenna stopped in her tracks looking at Luka, her smile dropped while Phoenix stepped out from behind Luka.

"Phoenix, listen here. Desmond called and told me about the whole mom story. She's ready to see you. "Those words played in his head repeatedly like a stuck record.

"She wants to see me?" Phoenix felt a wave of anxiety rush over him, he wasn't ready to see her. He was panicking and Luka noticed this, a familiar spark shot through Phoenix's and he instantly relaxed knowing that Luka was for him. So was Zander even if he was sleeping.

"I'll pick you up Sunday morning, we can go together to go see her. "Kenna watched the taller male who was standing close to Phoenix, she felt something odd about him.

"I'm bringing Luka and Zander with me. "The smaller male bit his lip nervously overthinking the whole situation that was just dropped on him like a bomb.

"Alright then. See you later. "The female climbed into the car without another word and left, both males watched the car leave in silence.

"I'm not ready. "Phoenix squeaked out feeling the pressure pressed down heavily on his shoulders mentally, an unfamiliar chill ran down his spine.

"Don't worry, Zander and I will be with you. You can even bring Azure if you want. "Luka kissed Pheonix's cheek gently, attempting to relax his mate, he knew Phoenix was under a lot of stress now just hope there isn't more to come.

"Slow down damnit. "Azure panted. "You're making me tired before we get to the good part!" The tall male wiped his forehead from the sweat dripping down his body, Phoenix continued to walk on up the mountain, how could a male Alpha be this tired climbing up a mountain?

"Why are you so tired all of a sudden Blue?" Phoenix called after him over his shoulder, the shorter male was carrying a much heavier bag than the werewolf.

"Well, little bird, Mel couldn't sleep last night so I was trying to help her. "Azure growled softly and walked after him, the Alpha hated being beaten by someone.

"Oh, so you did it the whole night. Am I right?" Phoenix smirked looking back at Azure, a light blush dusted his cheeks, he rolled his eyes and nodded proudly.

"Yes obviously. And I'm proud to say I did. " The older male walked past Phoenix with a confident walk but slowed down not so long later.

"Let's take a break here Blue if you're too tired," Phoenix smirked with a chuckle. "I need to ask you something important though. "

Azure stopped near a tree, leaning against it with a raised brow. "Sure, what is it?"

"Can you come with me on Sunday with Luka and Zander... To see my mother. "He mumbled the last part, Azure didn't understand Phoenix' situation.

"Sure, I can come with. "The werewolf gave a soft nod, he looked at Phoenix who was looking at the sky, soft white clouds floating by over them.

"Thanks, Blue. I owe you one. "The male continued to walk past Azure, with a determined smile.

"Yeah, no problem. Let's finish today's training Birdie. "
