Harkin, Baxter's wolf followed the scent that Zander gave him the previous day, he spent hours following it.
"I don't know Phoenix. Maybe next time. "A male replied, the scent suddenly got stronger, Harkin made his way there before spotting two males.
The two stare at the wolf in awe, Phoenix relaxed slightly, he didn't know who he was but somehow hoped the twins had something to do with it.
Desmond took a step back in defense, pulling his brother's sleeve slowly. "Phoenix. We should leave now. "
"W-wait. "The smaller male pulled his arm away staring at the wolf.
"What do you mean wait? Phoenix, it's a large wolf that could kill us any second. " Desmond gulped softly eyeing the wolf.
Harkin focused on Phoenix catching the scent, his head lowered as submission.
"Did the twins send you?" The smaller male suddenly asked quietly.
The large canine nodded his big head glancing up at him tiredly, Phoenix heart dropped almost in relief. "Shift back, please. "
Harkin shifted back to Baxter, the large male covered himself. "Sorry for my appearance. "
Meanwhile, Desmond watched in shock seeing a werewolf shift for the first time and in front of him.
Phoenix removed his jacket and handed it towards Baxter. "What did Zander or Luka tell you?"
"Zander told me to return you to them, we should hurry back before the Alpha notices my absence. " Baxter was able to look between the two brothers, they looked like slightly, Phoenix looked towards his brother for an answer.
Desmond nodded his head, glancing at his brother. "Take care of my brother, please. "
"I will... " Baxter replied shortly shifting to his werewolf form, who trotted towards Phoenix.
"I'll leave my stuff here, so you can visit me back in my home town, also bring Kenna with. "Phoenix smiled towards his brother before climbing onto the large wolf.
"Alright, it's nice to see you smiling bro... Until next time. "Desmond playfully rolled his eyes with a smile.
Harkin took that as a sign before sprinting into the forest back to the pack's house before his Alpha noticed.
