Phoenix yawned tiredly as he sat outside of the cabin thinking about the twins.

He spent the previous night twisting and turning in his bed trying to sleep but couldn't.

"Phoenix, want to go for a morning jog?" Desmond asked glancing at his brother who was sitting on the chair.

"No, I'm alright. Thanks. "The younger male replied quickly looking at his shoes that he was wearing.

"Phoenix... You can't be all depressed. Let's spend some brother time together. "

"Desmond I'm not the mood. "He glanced up at his brother frowning.

"Don't care, get off your royal ass and take a jog with me now. " Desmond rolled his eyes before pulling his brother up from his seat.

"Fine. "Phoenix sighed softly following after his brother who already started jogging.

"Phoenix, why don't you tell me what going on back at home?" Desmond asked looking at his brother slightly curious.

"N-nothing... "The younger male sighed softly just barely missing a large oak branch.

"Really now? Then why would dad randomly drop you off at my house?" Desmond raised a brow glancing back at him, halting to a stop.

Phoenix stopped suddenly also. "Dad forced me to leave because I was with werewolves... "

"Werewolves? Damn, who were they?" Desmond crossed his arms over his gray sweatshirt.

"Friends... But why does dad have a problem with them?" Phoenix asked quietly changing the subject.

"Dad was obsessed with them because he couldn't get enough of them. That's my mom left h--"

"Mom left dad?! What? Where was I?" The younger male's eyes widen in shock looking at his brother for answers.

"You were born... Didn't dad tell you what happened?" Desmond tilted his head to the side confused.

"No, he didn't! Tell me what happened. "Phoenix couldn't help but feel betrayed after all these years.

"Ever since I was born, dad got obsessed with unnatural beings... Mom started getting worried every year, eventually when Kenna was born he became distant from us.

Staying out late at night and disappearing early in the morning. It seemed like he didn't love us anymore. "Desmond looked away overthinking his past. "When you came along he became so obsessed that he was never around. We came dependent on mom for everything but one day, she had enough of it and got a divorce. "

Phoenix listened in content."Wheres, mom now?"

"She stays here in the same town with her new husband. "Desmond scratched the back of his own neck looking away.

"And? Can we visit her?" The smaller male asked curiously.

"I don't know Phoenix. Maybe next time. "The older brother looked away towards the view that they haven't noticed before.
