The Longs were scheduled to depart that evening. Amelia couldn't believe two days had gone peacefully and she didn't lose her temper even once.
That afternoon she found herself sipping tea on the floating deck with the ladies. She was grateful for Emma as she tried her best to keep things rolling.
"Amicoos!" Junior shouted, he was sitting perched on his father's shoulder, while Antony was carrying Patrick.
"What is an Amicoos?" asked Patrick.
"It's Amelia's pet name," said Junior beaming. "Amiccos, I want to sail the coracle"
On seeing the small coracle, Patrick was excited and wanted to ride it too. Antony prepared the coracle.
"Is it safe for kids to ride?" asked Tily as she came closer to inspect it.
"Mama move, I can't see," Partick said and pushed his mother. Tily lost her footing and fell. Amelia who was the closest to her and tried to grab her but the force of Tily's fall made Amelia fall into the pond as well.
"Matilda!"
"Amelia!"
Amelia knew who shouted her name and it was not Antony. Lord Nicholas rushed and helped her up the floating deck while Antony helped Matilda, he didn't even spare her a glance.
"God! Are you stupid, you are pregnant for heaven's sake. How can you be so careless and come near the water's edge?" Antony barked angrily. He ordered the maids to help Matilda back and inform Hugo of the events.
Only then he turned to Amelia, "Amelia, why are you still-" but his words were cut short as Lord Nicholas angrily punched him.
"Remembered her now, did you?"
"Lord Nichol-" He was once again cut short by the second angry punch. Antony knew Lord Nicholas' anger was legendary, but he never thought there would be a day when he would be at the receiving end. God! It hurt like hell, which meant something since he had gone through hell.

Amelia was giving him a you-got-less-than-what-you-deserve look.
Without a glance at Antony, Lord Nicholas picked Amelia in his arms and ordered his family to leave.
"Dad, where are we going?" Amelia asked as Nicholas headed to the carriage.
"We are going home. I am not leaving you with a man who doesn't care about you."
"You didn't mind during the wedding or even when he made me stay in a bachelor lodging?"
"Amelia, I thought he was going in the right way handling you. I was wrong, that blighter clearly doesn't give a damn about you. He didn't even look whether you were safe."
"Dad, I spend most afternoons swimming in the pond. He has seen me dive several times."
"You are supporting the bastard?"
"No, I am disappointed too. But I already know he doesn't love me. I have learned to accept it."
"I cannot, I can't see my daughter suffer."
"Emma, do something."
"I am sorry, Lady Amelia. Your father is right."

Dream of the Abyss
Elisa Mary Grant died in a hospital bed after being stuck in it for six months, and like any other, her soul drifted away from her husk when she passed. For her, death was a release. It merely meant that she no longer have to wake up in pain, breathing through tubes and have doctors flood her veins with dubious chemicals for “experimental treatment”. Free from her mortal constraints and useless body, she felt… at peace, serene, even. Death is bliss, after all, when objectively living sucked to the point of extreme. Therefore, there was no reason to mourn at all and she knew she definitely didn't. ... That was until, on her way for a proper reincarnation, she found herself rudely interrupted and left stranded in the great NoWhere. “Wonderful,” she remarked as she floated in the [Beyond], “Just when I thought that suicide is the answer.” Author's note: Updates every Tuesday-Wednesday, probably some time in between. ... P.S Notes: Contains existential questions and nihilistic themes, rather philosophical. Will be rather sluggish until the MC gets her shit together. P.SS Notes: Story takes time to develop. And maybe uncomfortable. It's not gonna be action-packed or filled with battles, I think. Anyway, it is kinda unusual. P. SSS Notes: It is not LitRpg. Don't be fooled.

His mind is filled with questions about his situation, will he discover his identity in this cruel world of magic, you should find out by joining him in this journey of fantasy. Who I recommend it to? This is a story for those who appreciate detailed world building with a protagonist who has actual feelings or at least great ambitions and not a super neutral uncaring guy, jokes aside the story will be dark with surprising turn of events, there will be beautiful places to explore and dark places to dread, there will be all kind of monsters, cunning smart enemies, human like main character shrouded in mystery.

Journey West 5000
With her parents murdered and her brother abducted, a trainee Monk of the Gun pursues the one responsible, the Bull Demon King, undefeated Warlord of the Crimson Army.Struggling to track down her enemy while braving the dangers of the wilds, she enlists the help of Sun Wukong, but 500 years under a mountain have taken its toll. Unstable and weakened, will he be more hindrance than help? Can he become the warrior he once was?A Monk and a Monkey journey across a world...... where the remnants of technology are seen as magic, while pockets of humanity strive to drag themselves out of ignorance.... where the descendants of animal-human hybrids, once created as instruments of war, now seek to dominate the world as demons.... where beings who call themselves Immortals and Gods preoccupy themselves with selfish pastimes, ignoring everything else. Among other things, a story about growth, grit, and being better than the person you were yesterday. Here's my rambling on why I'm writing Journey West 5000. Journey West 5000 is my crazy ambitious writing project to adapt a classic epic called "Journey to the West" for a global, modern audience. It's a sci-fi story disguised as fantasy, and has some road trip + monster of the week elements (as does the original Journey to the West). No system, definitely no harem, gradual power progression. Hmm, what else can I put here so potential readers know what to expect? My writing style for now is mostly "show don't tell", because I believe that readers don't need to have everything pointed out to them, and that they should be allowed to make up their own minds about characters based on the actions of those characters. I'm also trying to be less long-winded (a weakness pointed out by some friends) in order to write according to something Neil Gaiman said, which is to write as though I'm the one who has to pay for every word, not the reader. This will bring down my chapter word counts, and might drive away potential readers, but I believe there's value in learning to compress and be concise. All chapters posted here will have been edited. Constructive criticism, comments, and feedback would be very much welcome and appreciated. Please, please help point out any typos or grammatical mistakes, I'm striving to minimize those as much as possible. Above all, I hope you enjoy my story.

Magus Gravity
This is about a person who is summoned to a world to be a hero and save the human race from the demons, clich stuff, he will then make decisions that affect all of those around him(I think this is original). Also, he will not get all the """"females"""" out there in the other world and make a big harem that symbolizes how woman are treated as objects. Remember that this story is something I would like to read, and frankly most of the royal road stories are too damn lusty and filled with porn. But there will be some romance here and there since people get married and I need to talk about that too, so that is classed as romance right?
