《Worth The Risk》Master Plan

Emma and Delilah were sitting at dinner talking and laughing over several glasses of champagne. Fortunately, Delilah decided it would be best if they had a driver take them to the restaurant and pick them up. The two were taking walks down memory lane and laughing at their past.

"What was her name?" Emma asked, laughing. "The crazy one."

Delilah sipped her champagne. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh you know exactly who I'm talking about! You hid out at my house for, like, a month."

Delilah scoffed. "It was only two weeks and I couldn't go home! She was nuts."

Emma giggled. "Oh my god. She was such a bitch. Why did you keep her around?"

"She served a purpose." Delilah answered cryptically.

Emma rolled her eyes and shook her head. She wasn't even going to ask what said purpose was. "Your taste in women has been atrocious.... until recently that is."

Delilah laughed. "You say that."

Maybe now would be a good time to bring up how Emma had been feeling lately. "I need to talk to you about something."

"I'm all ears." Delilah said.

"I've been feeling like I'm... missing something." Emma put carefully. She didn't want their evening to be soiled.

"Like what?"

"First I'll ask this. Can you be my little? Like, would it be possible for us to switch off sometimes?" Emma asked plainly.

Delilah choked on her water.

"Oh my god. Are you okay?" Emma asked.

Delilah held her hand up and nodded as she coughed a little. "Yeah. Sorry." She thought about Emma's question. While Delilah wanted to fulfill every desire she had, she needed to be honest. She couldn't see herself feeling small or acting little. Delilah didn't even act like a child when she was a child. "I don't think so, Em." She frowned. Would this mean they would have to break up? Delilah understood the need and desire. It was an intricate part of her life and for it to go unfulfilled could be very unsatisfying.

"No, don't be sad. It's okay. Everyone's not as gifted as me." Emma joked. She was trying to make Delilah feel better. The last thing Emma wanted Delilah to feel from the conversation was inadequate.

Delilah smiled weakly. "You are pretty amazing."

"Thank you." Emma nodded. She needed to say it. "I was wondering how you would feel if I were to enter a relationship with someone else as their Mommy."

Delilah's first reaction was to be angry. What did she mean be in a relationship with someone else? Emma was hers and hers only. Isn't she the one that made such a big deal about not sharing her partner? "What?" Delilah asked.

"I said I was wondering how you would..."

"No. I heard you, Emma." Delilah cut her off. "I guess what I'm trying to say is what the fuck does that even mean?"

Emma's eyes widened. Delilah and Emma had cursed at each other a million times in the past and it never meant anything. However, it felt different now. Emma was her little baby now and it hurt her feelings more than she wanted to admit. "Don't curse at me!" Emma whined. She wanted her voice to come out stronger than it did but it betrayed her.

Delilah took a deep breath. She could see the hurt all over Emma's face. "Babe, I'm sorry. I won't do that again."

Emma blinked back the tears in her eyes and nodded. "Whatever. Let's just forget it."

Delilah felt like an ass now. Here Emma was trying to be transparent and honest with her and she lost her cool. "No. Talk to me. Please?" She pleaded.

Emma pushed the food around on her plate. "Are you sure?"

"Yes." Delilah nodded and gave Emma her attention.

"It's not that I want another girlfriend or anything of the sort. It's just sometimes I get in a certain mood that can't be satisfied by other means." Emma looked at Delilah to make sure she was following.

"I get it." Delilah informed her.

"And so with that said, I was thinking if I just had a little that I sometimes played with then that would help me act out the feelings I have. If you say no, I won't bring it up again. I just thought I should tell you because from personal experience, when you let things fester they breed resentment." Emma said. She felt better now that it was out in the open.

What Emma said about resentment really struck a nerve with Delilah. She had to come clean. "I have to tell you something too."

"Okay."

"Today I looked at Cyn's butt." Delilah confessed.

Emma waited for the rest of the story but it never came. "And then what?" She asked.

"What do you mean? That's it. I looked at her butt and I shouldn't have. I'm sorry." Delilah said. How mad would Emma be?

Emma chuckled. Delilah was so adorable. "Babe it's okay. We're in a relationship, yes, so thank you for being honest, but you still have eyes. It's okay to look. I'm not going to get mad at that."

"You're not?" Delilah was shocked but relieved.

"No. Did you grab it?" Emma asked.

"Of course not!" Delilah answered.

"Did you want to?"

This was a little more difficult to answer. "Well....naturally but I didn't." Delilah said.

Emma chuckled. "I know you're new to this and really afraid to mess up but it's okay to see things and have urges as long as you don't act on them. It's fine."

"Wait so you check out other women? On purpose?" Delilah asked.

"I don't not notice when an attractive woman walks by." Emma shrugged.

She didn't even realize she was doing it but Delilah pouted. The news about Emma wanting a little and her scoping out women in her spare time left her feeling a bit jealous and territorial. Emma noticed the shift in Delilah's demeanor right away.

"Daddy." Emma said softly. She knew by calling her that it brought Delilah from whatever wicked scenario she was playing out in her head.

"Yes?"

"Don't be jealous. I'm very much yours." Emma grabbed Delilah's hand that was resting on the table.

Delilah lifted her hand and kissed it. "I know, baby." She thought about Emma's little situation or lack there of. "Do you have anyone in mind yet?"

Cyn did come across Emma's mind but that was only because she was the one that was around. "Cyn did come up. I know it may be a little weird because of you guys history but..."

"It's not weird. It's actually perfect." Delilah said, delighted with her own epiphany.

"It is?" Emma asked. She was shocked but excited at the possibility. She was relieved to see Delilah come around to the idea so quickly.

"It is. We already know her. I trust her, enough. She likes you. You like her. She has already shown little tendencies." Delilah listed quickly.

"Well yeah. I guess. It could work but how do we even bring it up to her?" Emma asked.

Delilah laughed and sipped from her champagne flute. "Your little. Your problem."

Emma chuckled. "Jerk."

Delilah didn't know what to expect. She was nervous but she trusted Emma with her life and her heart. She had to have faith that Emma wouldn't let her get hurt in this process. It was her only option.
