Tip 8: Didn't give you tip 1 for nothing, use it!
“What?..”
Your eyes scanned the surprised expression on your friends faces, that you were already expecting to look as you finished telling them who the killer is and why you think it's them, with the help of Budo of course. Because you were sure that they wouldn't believe you unless there's someone who would support your claims. Budo himself didn't believe it at first.
Classes were canceled the morning due to the unexpected demise of your fellow schoolmate, you and your friends still pushed through the plans of having a sleepovers at Shin's house. After the announcing of suspension you went straight to your house and -as fast as possible- gathered spare clothes and other things to bring for the sleepovers then quickly head over to shin's house, you still felt fear creeping in your back being alone in the house.
The sun had finally sink at the horizon while the moon replaced the bright golden sun shine into its soft silvery light. Finishing dinner, you all retreated back to shin's bedroom after announcing that you have something important to say. And now you're all gathered with your sleeping bags around the bed and your friends wordlessly taking the news all in their head with their now unreadable faces.
Taro's eyes emitted fear, his body shivered, remembering the gruesome death of two students that his eyes laid upon on, so clear like a clear picture permanently embedded in his mind. “B-but why?- how?-”
“Why is she doing it?” Shin managed to ask, cutting off Taro noticing that he cannot continue on clearly with his words. “What's her objective?”
“I don't know, I'm trying to think about it but my head is just... blank.” You admitted, letting out a deep sigh and rub your temples. “And the fact that I didn't know my girlfriend makes me rethink if I was even a good one.”
“You're a good girlfriend,” Osana disagreed, ignoring the fright that was slowly crawling out of her chest for a moment and placed a consoling hand on your shoulder. “You know Aishi, but not entirely and that's normal. Not all of us knew each other to the core and what we're capable of doing, so don't blame yourself at something you cannot explain.”
You stared at her for a few second, her comforting words released a few heavy weight from your shoulders. “Thank you, Osana.” You murmured, placing a hand over hers, that was on your shoulder, then pat it gently.
“Something must've pushed her to do it,” Kuroko, being the smart in your group, speculates with her arms crossed.
“Now that you've thought about it,” Budo comments, leaning on his arm as he lied sideways on his makeshift bed. “Is there anything particular that she hates? it's not like she goes around and just randomly kill people.”
“There is, but I doubt it would be the reason for her to kill.” You replied, letting yourself fall back against the sheets.
Osana prompts. “What is it?”
“Guys can we just drop the subject?” You request, shifting your head on the pillow to the side, turning away from them and faced the wall. “It's been a long day, let's just get some rest.”
Budo looks up to the clock hanging on the wall and see that it was only half past 7 in the night, it was early to sleep since he knows you well that you usually go to bed before midnight. He doesn't blame you though, the recent events that happened can cause a lot of mental exhaustion, and considering that your girlfriend is behind all of it he can't even imagine what you're feeling.

“Let's call it a day,” Budo stated throwing a blanket around his body while the others fixed themselves in their own sleeping bags.
With a faint click the lights died out and darkness poured in, consciousness instantly faded.
-
The distant thunder roared in your ears, like loud stones rolling down the hill, jolting you awake from your deep slumber. Rain pelted against the windows as the blinds merely covered the sight from the darkness outside. Your eyes rapidly blinked to adjust them from the blinding dark, breaths shallow as your heart faintly drum in your chest due to the startling sound reverberating outside the house. Rolling on your back and using your elbows to push, you sat up leisurely on your bed and gaze around the silent room.
You feel your throat clench gulping the last bit of fluid down your throat that is in need for hydration. Eye/C eyes roaming around you see your friends eyes shut and peacefully sleeping.
You tiredly drag a hand across your face to wake yourself up and tossed the cover from your body to the side and stand up, you tip toed your way to the door and gently pulled the door open in a width which your body could slip through quietly.
The trip down the stairs to the kitchen while keeping it quiet exerted amount of effort from the wooden floor that would make a sound even in the lightest of steps, and yet you still managed to do so. You catch a brief, flash of white light across the kitchen floor through the column of windows as you entered while the thunder rumble softly in your ears as you rounded the island and approached the fridge to take out a bottle.
You uncapped the bottle, throw your head back, and gulped the water hastily to quench your thirst, you can feel how the water refreshes your drought like throat. Halfway through consuming the contents of the bottle, another light flashed from the windows and a shape of a figure outlined the solid surfaces on the wall caught your attention from the edge of your eyes. A lump of water clogged your throat at the sight and you violently cough while you twist your body, your heart beat beginning to pick up its pace.
Your panicked eyes shoot everywhere, especially towards the window, and only to see no physical presence around and darkness consume the corners of the room while quick thunder light still flashes on its own accord. Dropping your head down with a shaky sigh escaping your slightly parted lips, you pressed your lower back on the edge of the counter shaking your head in disbelief thinking that it must have all been your mind.
Grumbles of nonstop thunder ringing in your mind, you look up, planning to return to the bedroom, only to see a slender figure standing on the doorway staring at you while the quick light coming from the lightning outside shadowed half of their face. Your heart nearly jumped out of your ribcage and the cold air caught in your throat.
Osana quizzically stared at your stunned expression, tightening the blanket that was wrapped around her body. “What's wrong?”
You breathed out the air you were holding and relaxed your body, relieved to see that it was Osana. “Nothing, I just thought...you know...”
Osana slowly nodded, understanding what you meant. Sensing your discomfort of remembering your girlfriend she ought to change the subject, asking. “Why are you up anyways?”
Lifting you water bottle up. “Got thirsty.” You answered and pursed your lips.

Osana shuffled to your side, sluggishly opening the fridge and fished out a water for her to drink. You absentmindedly watched her, your eyes flickering down and the sight of her bright pink fluffy slippers that made your lips curl in amusement. She leaned her side against the fridge after closing it.
“Are you okay?” She asked worriedly, looking down and attempt to open the bottle, struggling.
Placing your water on the counter, you gently took the bottle from her grasp and twist the cap open before giving it back to her with a soft smile. “I'm fine, thanks.”
A pinkish hue formed on your friends cheek, that you failed to notice as you faced away from her and look back to the windows where you thought you saw someone standing outside. She hid her face behind her hand that was holding her water, fighting a shy smile attempting to escape her face.
She cleared her throat, catching your attention. “So.. um..you and Aishi,” She murmured hesitantly. “Are you two still..?”
“Together? I guess...we haven't really officially broken up.” You timidly respond, dropping your head down and played with the ends of your shirt.
Your lips pressed together in thought, mind still conflicted at the word of breaking up. Asking yourself a question: do you really want to break up with Ayano? You don't know the answer that's for sure.
Osana pushed herself and stood up straight, interrupting you out of your daze, throwing her empty water bottle to the bin she turns to you. “I'm gonna head up to bed, you coming?”
You nodded, discarding the bottle to the trash and followed her outside the kitchen, through the archway where just inches away was the stairs Osana paused, making you stop on your tracks to look at her. “You go ahead, I'm gonna use the restroom.”
Nodding your head as you watch her take a turn to the corridor just by the stairs. You carefully ascended up the wooden stair case in a hushed footsteps the same as you did when you went to the kitchen. Entering the agaped door to the bedroom, you passed by a figure who was hunched over the bags rummaging through it, and judging by the color of the bag you assume that it was Kuroko.
Bending your legs beside your sleeping bag, ignoring the sound of footsteps and the door closing from the background, you tugged back the tightly stuffed cover that you threw at the side and fixed your sleeping bag vertically. You pick up your white covered pillow and fluffing it for your comfort.
“Y/N keep it down.” You hear a dozy voice of Kuroko complaining causing you to look up and see her stirring in her sleeping bag and turning her back towards you.
“Sorry.” You sheepishly whispered, placing the pillow back to its place.
You abruptly froze in your spot, gulping the lump down your throat while realization hits you like a brick. Your eyes shot towards Kuroko who remains asleep in her position. If she's here then...
A loud, high pitched scream pierced through the quiet house causing your friends to almost jump straight out of their sleep as they shot their heads up with a confused expression.
“Osana!” You quickly made your way to the door and yank it open before bolting through, your friends already shuffling out of their beds in haste.
Rushing down the staircase you caught a sight of terrified Osana through the gaps of the railing, running across the corridor with her night wear torn up into long slits with patches of blood staining the white fabric. Behind her, chasing, was your raven haired girlfriend with blood stained knife in her hands, arm stretched upwards ready to strike it down on Osana's back as she catches up to her.
Having nothing else to think of you did one thing that had crossed your mind. You placed both of your hands on the railing and leap over it, you set one of your feet against the side of the railing and used it to pump yourself forward and jump towards Ayano with force. Ayano stumble down to the floor with a loud thud. Laying on her stomach, with you latched behind her. Climbing over her torso and put your weight to trap her down in place while you pin her hands between her head, her knife slide across the floor, long gone on the corners of the room.
“Ayano stop!” You ordered, tightening your grip on her as she thrash her body to escape from your grip.
Ayano looked over her shoulder, her blood-lust eyes glared at you. “Is that the bitch?!” She snarled. “You're going to replace me with that whore?!”
You look at her incredulously. “What the fuck are you saying?!”
Catching you off guard, Ayano managed twist around your heavy weight and use the advantage of you losing balance to flip both of you around and take control while you felt the cold, hard wooded floor slam against your back making you groan out in pain.
“Stop being fucking oblivious, Y/N.” Ayano clenched her teeth, reaching behind her and pulled out another knife. “Can't you see how they look at you? Eyeing you like a fresh meat. They want you! They want to take you away from me!” She exclaimed in a high pitched tone, placing the sharp edge of the blade on your neck.
Your breath hitched at the sight of her hand, your gaze switched back up to your girlfriend and stared right into her eyes. They were blank, cold with a hard glare like steel. But you can clearly see through them, just underneath those emotionless eyes was an insecure girl, a scared girl, afraid that she could be replaced. She is still Ayano, the girl you liked, the shy girl who cared for you, you still know the girl hovering you even as of now she has you pressed up with a knife on your neck. It's just that, you're discovering a side of her that you've never seen before, and it's insane, nonetheless you're certain that you can talk this through, you're sure she'll listen to you.
Because you know that she still would do anything for you.
“I won't let them have you! you're mine!” You then feel her putting pressure on the knife as you felt it slicing the layer of your skin. “You're mine Y/N! and I'll kill anyone who'll stand in my way!”
“Y/N!”
You watch Ayano flew off of you and you quickly propped up using your elbows in support and turn to see Budo tackling your girlfriend and both of them came rolling to the ground.
Budo trapped her between his legs and gripped her hand that was holding the knife before slamming it hard to the floor, you could hear Ayano's painful scream echoed around the house and into your ears, oddly making your heart sink. Ayano lets go of the knife and cradled her broken hand on her chest.
You watched as Budo hurriedly grabbed on to the knife, holding it in his hands while his eyes menacingly glared at your girlfriend and slowly lift his arms upwards with the point of the knife directed towards Ayano, who was busy holding her hand wincing in pain.
Already seeing what was about to happen, you quickly stood up to your feet and dashed towards them.
“NO!” Before Budo could charge the knife down you shoved him off of her. “Don't you dare!”
Budo's body bounced on the floor, his head knocked the wood and the knife on his hand made a clicking noise. Budo groaned at the ache at the back of his head, holding it in for a second and raising it up to look towards you. Immediately the view contorted a mixed look of shock and disbelief in his face. He switched his attention up the very top of the staircase and see your friends -with Osana slightly bleeding in Taro's arms- their faces emitting pure shock at the sight.
Infront of Budo unfold was you holding Ayano tigtly in your arms.
