《Red Whispers || Wanda Maximoff X Reader》Chapter 45 || Beginning of The End

When we get back Tony says he has to take care of something. Knowing my twisted brother, I know that is code for he's going to where the others are. I sneak onto the chopper before he steps foot on it, hiding behind equipment. By the time we are already off the ground and I am sure we are too far to turn around, I step up.
"Where we going?"
He jumps and holds his chest, tapping the reactor to make sure he's alive as he stares at me wild-eyed.
"Are you nuts?! What are you doing here?"
"Going to save my girlfriend, something you should've done for the team before you let them be taken away."
The chopper keeps moving while Tony sits angrily in front of me, "I didn't know they would be taken to the Raft, alright? I didn't want any of this to happen! If Cap just listened to me-" He cuts himself off, taking a deep breath before continuing, calming himself down beforehand.
"If he listened, then none of this would've happened. No one would've been taken away."
"Steve was right. Zemo is behind it all, he's trying to make more Winter Soldiers."
"I know. I figured as such with your little episode earlier. That's why I'm going to the Raft. I'll find Sam, ask where Steve went and I'm going with them. I'm going to help them, to help all of us, Y/N."
I take in his features, observing his body language, trying to get a read on any game he might be trying to play, but I get nothing. He's being serious. We start to land on the helipad but Tony stops me, "They can't know you're here. If you're getting Wanda out, you can't be found, alright? She'll be a wanted criminal."
So what is he saying? That we have to be on the run? Wanda and me?
"Tony are you saying that-" He pulls me into a tight embrace, squeezing me as hard as he can.
"Go get your girl. Meet back at the chopper. After that, you get lost, understand?"
When we pull away I notice tears threatening to fall from his eyes but I don't comment on it. Instead I not and superspeed off the helicopter before anyone can see me. When I get inside I hide behind a wall, waiting for guards to walk by before I start looking for Wanda. I superspeed around, being able to get by without being seen until I see everyone in their cells. I see Sam, Clint and the mini dude. Looking at the chartings on the walls I don't see Wanda's name anywhere.
"Where the hell is she?" I mutter before I start to sneak off again. I find the security room where agents and Secretary Ross are watching the cameras. That's when I spot her.
She's in a straight jacket, the collar around her neck. Her face is pale, eyes sunken in.
I can feel my blue energy buzzing at my hands and eyes but I choke it back, knowing that I can't lose control here. I need to stay undercover. I walk around a corner where a guard sees me. Widening my eyes, before he can call it in I superspeed over, cover his mouth and speed us to a random room.

"Shut up before I kill you," I say as he pants.
Staring at me in fear, he lifts his arms and I smile proudly. "Good boy. Now, take off your clothes."
"What?"
"What did I say about shutting up? Just listen to what I say or else I'll turn your brain to mush. Come on Navy boy."
He rushes himself to remove his clothes. I take off mine and throw on the uniform, nodding in approval of the surprisingly decent fitting.
"Thanks. Um..." Crap. I didn't think this through. He's gonna flip out and tell someone.
Unless...
I quirk up an eyebrow and smile, "This won't hurt a bit."
I press my fingers to his temples and his eyes close, body falling to the ground of the room.
"Cute boxers buddy," I smirk before I superspeed out.
Hopefully when he wakes up he won't remember anything. Oh well.
I walk around in my uniform now, looking at maps. I overhear a conversation that Wanda is on the 2nd level so I start to make my way, keeping my head low so no one recognizes me. I pick up on Tony's voice talking to someone. I hear him saying something about Steve being right. He must be talking to Sam.
My feet take me to the stairs where I jog down them until I get to level 2. Swiping the guy's ID badge, the door opens and I walk in. I see all the cells empty except for one. Her back is to me, but I can feel her from here.
"That's my girl," I whisper and look around at the cameras. I pull out my phone and text Tony, saying that there's cameras here. He then responds saying,
Smiling, I superspeed over to her cell and break the door open.
Her eyes don't move, "Stay away from me. Haven't you done enough?"
Her voice is weak and tired. She thinks I'm an agent.
"I could leave you here if you want. I'd say you seem cozy."
Now her eyes flicker up to look at me, lighting up at the sight of me.
"You came."
"I came, baby. Let's get you out of this."
I rip off her straight jacket and use one of Tony's devices to power down the collar. I help her stand but she's wobbly.
"Here, I got you."
I pick her up in bridal style and she just grins up at me, "how did you get down here."
"Long story, but we gotta go." I superspeed us up the stairs and out onto the chopper. Placing Wanda down I see Tony get on, waving goodbye to Ross, saying he got nothing from the others, he doesn't know where Steve is. When the doors shut, Tony turns to us behind the equipment.
"Nice to see you Little Witch. Prison change you at all? Get a new bitch?"
Wanda sneers at Tony in distaste, gripping onto me as I lift her to place her in a seat.
"Surprised you're letting this happen. What about the others?"
Tony sighs, "I have a feeling Cap's got that one covered. This chopper will take you back to the compound. Gather your things and tell no one where you are going. You can't be found, understood?"

Hitting his reactor, his suit forms around him while he stands up. Wanda looks at me, then at Tony again.
"We're leaving?"
"It's the safest option. Once they find out I broke you out I'll be a criminal too. We have to leave."
I can tell it upsets her that we are leaving but knowing that we will be together provides us both with some reassurance. We can go wherever we want out of this country, see the world, just the two of us.
We can finally get away.
"I'm gonna miss you big brother," I whisper and he just tilts his metal head. I assume he's smiling because if he wasn't he would show his face. He doesn't enjoy showing emotion really.
"I'll see you on the other side, Kid. Keep her safe for me, Wanda."
Her hand slips into mine as she nods with a soft, reassuring grin, "With my life, Tony."
"Great. So it's settled. Get to the compound, then get the hell out of here."
He jumps off the chopper, jetting away in his suit to find Steve and Bucky, leaving Wanda and I alone. We are silent for a few moments. I start to check her body for any injuries they may have caused her, observing the one burn from the collar on her neck while she smiles at me, starting to laugh.
"I am okay."
"I just want to make sure. For every cut or scrape on you is another head of theirs I take."
"Baby," she lifts my chin up with her fingers, then cups my face in her hands. We sit like that for a few moments, looking into each other's eyes before she speaks again.
"Thank you. For coming to rescue me."
"I will always come back for you. No matter what."
Slowly, she leans into me. I close my eyes and feel her lips, then see the fireworks bursting in my head. I lean back into her, deepening the kiss as we throw our emotions in. Through my eyelids I can already see our colorful magic appearing around us, swirling together as one before I pull away.
Her eyes are red with brimming tears, as I had a feeling they were. I wipe them away and smile, tracing her lips with my thumb before I speak.
"We gotta make this quick. Grab essentials and get out. Okay?"
She nods quickly and we sit together, her head resting on my shoulder the rest of the way until we arrive. Running inside, I throw whatever I may need into a suitcase, meeting Wanda in the hall as we pull our bags towards the door.
"And where are you two going?"
Natasha stands behind us, arms folded over in a quizzical stance.
"So close," I whisper, making Wanda break into a smile as I walk closer to Nat.
"Nat look I-" She throws passports at us. I look inside and see a different name than my own on it. Tilting my head in question, I glance back up but she just raises her hand to stop me before I ask.
"You're on the run. Having identification with your real names would compromise you. You can thank me later. Now go before I make you stay."
Wanda walks over to Natasha and takes her hand gently, "Thank you Natasha. You have no idea what this means to me."
The two women look at each other in a surprisingly adoring way, each sharing a look of care for one another before they hug. With an eyebrow raised and a smirk forming on my lips, I clear my throat.
"So uh...is this the part where you two kiss?"
They turn to look at me and Wanda uses her magic to lift a magazine from the table and throw it at my head, but I dodge it with a short laugh.
"Get over here Stark."
Natasha grabs me and pulls me into a hug. I can hear her breathing breaking apart, indicating that she's starting to cry. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't about to cry either. I can feel it coming up, but I try to choke it down. Her arms are tight around me, one hand on the back of my head, the other in the middle of my back.
"Please be safe out there. Call if anything happens. And check in monthly, understood?"
"Understood Agent Romanoff."
She smiles while we pull away, wiping her own eyes before nodding quickly, lifting her walls back up right in front of me.
"Alrighty then. Off you two go. You can take one of the jets. Just get out of here."
Wanda slips her hand into mine, waving once at Natasha before we leave the building. I get into a jet, helping Wanda in before we sit inside, me in the pilot's spot.
"Do you even know how to fly one of these?"
Chuckling, I shrug, "no clue. Guess we're about to find out though, huh?"
I start it up, smiling proudly as I do so, then move down the strip until we hit a good enough speed to lift off. Once we are at a steady pace in the air, I turn to Wanda.
I take her hand, placing a soft kiss against the back of her skin before I meet her beautiful and glimmering gaze. She's happy to be doing this with me. Happy that we finally get to get away. I wouldn't wish to be doing this with anyone else. This woman, being on the run with her? Getting to just be alone together? It's a dream.
I can tell she thinks the same just by that gorgeous lovestruck smile of hers.
"Well then, Red Eyes...Where to?"
