Rachel's POV

Karen finished wrapping my hand up and she was smiling at me.

"I know you get jealous but I've never seen you this jealous before." She said.

I rolled my eyes and replied, "Bitch shouldn't have been trying to come on you like that."

"I know, I enjoyed watching you punch her into oblivion."

"Yeah yeah yeah." I said rubbing my face.

"You looked so hot too."

"Good night Karen." I say shaking my head.

She smiled at me and kissed me. "Come on Rach, don't let her ruin our good time. It's our ten year anniversary."

"Which was going great until she tried putting the moves on you."

"Honey, forget about her. She has nothing on you trust me."

"Oh it's not the fact that I think you're going to leave me, it's the fact that she knew we were mates and still tried to come on you."

"She thought-" "Why are you defending her?" I asked.

She sighed and kissed me passionately. "Tomorrow, I'll take you out as a makeup date. I just want to keep you happy."

"Okay." I replied shrugging.

She kissed me again and walked to the office. I took a shower and when I came out, Karen was frowning.

"What, missed me that much?"

"No, Austin, he's in the pack hospital."

"Why?" I asked walking to her slowly.

"He tried to kill himself." She replied, her voice cracking.

She collapsed on the ground crying and I ran over to hug her.

"We have to go." She said.

I nodded and replied, "Immediately."

We drove to the pack and Karen ran to the hospital. I walked over to Austin's mate, who we found out was named Lucas, and hugged him. He hugged me back and broke down crying

"Why does he hate me so much?"

I looked him in the eyes and replied, "Because his nightmare came true."
