Karen's POV

We got all of the things ready to celebrate Cara finding her mate. I was excited because my daughter found her mate and I'm gonna find out what Austin was hiding.

I knew it was wrong of me to do this but Austin should know not to hide things from me. When we were younger every time Austin did something and he hid it, I either annoyed him, snuck into his room or brought it up around dinner and he would be forced to tell everyone.

As you can tell, nothing's really changed and I'm still the annoying older sister he loves. At least for now.

"Karen, I was all for this party but now that I think more about it, I actually just want to celebrate Cara and Michael. If Austin doesn't want to talk about what's bothering him, then we shouldn't push him to talk. He could explode." Rachel said putting on her heels.

I didn't really register what she was saying, I was only checking her. She was wearing white skinny jeans and a black, off the shoulder crop top. Her hair was wavy and she was wearing black pumps. To say she was beautiful was an understatement.

"Karen, are you listening to me?" She asked waving her hand in my face.

"What?" I asked.

"Were you listening to anything I was saying?" She asked.

"No, I was distracted because you look absolutely phenomenal."

She blushed and shook her head. "I can't even with you. I'll be downstairs." She walked out of the room smiling, but not before I smacked her butt. She squealed and I winked at her and smiling.

"Sorry, can't keep my hands to myself. I mean I could, but why would I want to?" I told her smiling.

"Just hurry up silly."

She left and I put on black skinny jeans with a royal blue shirt that was long sleeved but had the shoulder part open. I wore blue wedges and curled my hair. I grabbed my clutch and went downstairs to meet Rachel.

I found her standing with Lucy, Garrett, Mike and Tiana.

"Garrett! You're back!" I gave him a hug and he smiled. "It's good to be back home and with my mate too."

Lucy smiled and kissed his cheek. "Let's go party!"

We got into our respected cars and drove to the party. When we got there, music was already playing and people were already dancing. I started dancing with Rachel and she was laughing and smiling.

I kissed her and she smiled bigger, hugging me. "I'm so happy, you have no idea." She told me in my ear.

"I'm glad I could help you with that." I giggled and kissed her again.

"Karen, a word please." Austin said tapping me on the shoulder.

"Hey little brother, how's it going?" I asked casually.

"I'm not in the fucking mood Karen." He growled out.

"Okay, jeez, what crawled in your ass this morning."

He growled louder and people were actually starting to look at us. "Come here." He growled out, grabbing my wrist.

"Whoa, Austin chill." I said calmly.

Rachel growled and released my wrist from Austin's grip. He growled again and said, "Rachel, this is between Karen and me, back off."

"I was until you decided to grab my mate."

"I'm pissed at your mate."

"Why? What did I do?" I asked feigning confusion.

"Why couldn't you leave me alone!" He yelled.

"Austin, calm down." Taylor said, walking to us after he pushed through the crowd.

"Leave you alone? Austy, this is for Michael and Cara, we all know how long Michael had been looking, I mean Rachel thought his mate was a male for a while." I replied.

And that's when his eyes turned black. He let out a loud growl and everyone in there started to leave the party.

"Austin, calm down!" Taylor yelled.

I furrowed my eyebrows and that's when it hit me.

"Austin, you found your mate didn't you? And you're not happy because your mate is a guy, right?" I asked slowly.

I looked over at Taylor and he looked defeated.

"Look at me!" He roared.

I did and he was crying now. Not a sad crying, but an angry crying.

"I'm pissed off at you because it's all your fault. It's your fault you made me like this."

"You see, I don't think it's my fault, I think the Moon Goddess blessed you."

"Fuck you Karen. I hate you. This fucking party wasn't for Michael, it was so you can find a way to get me to crack. When are you ever going to fucking grow up you stupid, gay bitch!"

Okay, that stung a bit. Alright, not just a bit, a lot. I've taken some harsh insults in my life since I've been with Rachel, majority of them coming from Austin, but this one hurt more. It hurt more because he's not happy, he's not happy that he found out his mate isn't a woman so he can't continue a bloodline.

"Austin, you're mad, I get it, but taking it out on me isn't right."

"Oh fuck you!"

"Alright, enough, I get it! You're fucking angry-"

"I'm not angry, I'm livid!"

"Austin?" We stopped yelling and there stood a man, with a little muscle and brown hair. He had stubble growing and the most adorable brown eyes. Gotta admit, he looked good.

Stop staring. Rachel growled in my head.

Oh please, don't you know that I like vagina? More specifically, yours?

Rachel laughed out loud and everyone looked at her. "Sorry, just ignore that laugh."

I snickered and Austin growled loudly.

"What are you doing? Why aren't you in the cells?"

"Cells?" I asked.

"I let him out." Roxanne waddled over to us and held Taylor's hand.

"Why?! He was there for a reason!"

"No, Austin, he wasn't. He's your mate, he doesn't deserve to be locked up." She replied.

He growled and lunged for her. She screamed and Taylor punched Austin in the face. He started punching him numerous times in the face and Austin's mate stepped in.

Roxanne was crying and she was screaming, "My water broke!"

Lucy, can you please take Roxanne to the pack doctor? I need to break this up.

Of course. But on the cool, this shit wild.

Girl I know.

Lucy left with Roxanne and I sighed. I motioned towards the three men and I pulled off Austin, Mike pulled off Taylor and Garrett pulled off Austin's mate.

"Let me go!" Austin screamed.

"No, we're going in your office." I told him, taking him to his office.

"Please, let him go."

I looked at Austin's mate and Rachel replied, "She won't do that. She can't risk putting anyone's life in danger. Especially yours. She won't hurt him too bad."

"She's going to hurt him?"

Rachel smiled sadly and replied, "Yes, but it's only to calm him down. They're twins so they know what to do when the other is upset."

He sighed out and nodded. I mouthed thank you to her and took him to the office. I sat him down and gave him the stress ball. He took it and threw it at me.

"Okay, I deserve that." I said.

"No, you fucking deserve worse bitch."

"Wanna stop calling me out of my name?" I asked.

"No."

"Austin, why didn't you just tell me?" I asked sighing.

"It's my life, I can do whatever I want."

"Okay, I get that. Does Mom and Dad know?"

"Yeah, they were there when he said mate and walked over to me."

"Their reaction?"

"Not another gay child."

I chuckled lightly and said, "Sounds like them."

"Why couldn't you leave it alone?" He asked exhausted.

"You know me better than that. Now I'm going to leave and you're going to talk with your mate. Knowing you, this'll be the first conversation you've had with him."

I walked out and nodded towards the door. "You can go in, I promise I didn't hurt him."

He rushed in the office and closed the door. I walked to Rachel and hugged her. She pushed me away and crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"What?" I asked.

"If you were listening to me at home, then this wouldn't have happened."

"What can I say, I love your body."
