Rachel's POV

I've literally been fighting for over a hour. We had some casualties but that comes with it. Karen has her mind block up so that means she's probably still fighting.

I walked over to the lake in my wolf form to try and get as much dirt and blood off of me. I heard a noise, so I got ready to fight again.

I let out a growl and a wolf appeared from behind the trees. It shifted and a teenage boy walked to me. "I'm not trying to fight, I'm on your side, I'm really thirsty."

I shifted and told him, "I don't think that water is pretty clean, I did kinda lay in it to get blood and dirt off me."

"Good thing I'm part wolf and the water won't affect me that much."

I stared at him and walked away.

Hey Rachel, are you okay? Lucy asked.

Hey Luc, I'm fine. How are things over there?

Good, we're all just waiting.

I'm waiting for Karen to give me the okay. We're almost done over here.

We've been done over here for a while. Now we're all resting and healing up before the big trek.

Hold on, Karen is contacting me.

Mkay.

Hey, are you alright? I asked Karen.

Get to New Moon asap.

I ran over to all the wolves and yelled, "We have go to New Moon, they are possibly in trouble!"

They all got up and we started heading over to New Moon.

I found Karen in the pack house laying down and I ran over to her.

"Are you hurt?"

"No, just a little exhausted. There was a lot of them here."

"Where's Cory?"

"With his mate. She's pregnant again and going through some pains."

I kissed her and she kissed back. "We all need to rest tonight. Everyone needs to rest before we go up to Blue Moon." I told her.

She nodded. "You're the Luna, you know what's best."

I told everyone what we were going to do and they all got comfortable in places and went to sleep. I held Karen because she looked exhausted. I felt her energy and I kissed her forehead.

"Go to sleep Karen."

She nodded and went to sleep. I watched her for a little bit and smiled.

"I love you." I whispered to her, and then I fell asleep.
