Rachel's POV
As soon as Karen came back, I immediately went into training mode. She wasn't happy but honestly, after she told me that my mom was captured, I couldn't sit around and eat junk food.
I did a lot of arm strength training so I wasn't hurting my leg. It still hurts but life hurts and why complain when you can do something else?
"Rachel!" Karen yelled, walking into the training room.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Your leg is bleeding. How in the hell did the wound reopen?" She asked, getting some bandages and wrapping it up.

"Will you stop treating me like some disabled person already? I'm not a weakling, I'm a Luna and I take my job very seriously. My job is to protect the pack, just like you. You're not going to stop me from training. It's not going to be: you go, I stay. We're both going." I exclaimed at her.
"What happens to the pack then?"
"Karen, we made a pack out of rogues. They're going to go back doing what they did before. Hell, some of them forget they're in a pack now."
She looked at me and I continued. "I love them all and I have nothing but absolute faith in them that they can hold their own. They've been rogues for a while, just like us. All of us here can handle ourselves."
"Alright, fine, you can train. But I want you to take it easy. Don't push yourself too hard, you're still trying to recover."
"Okay." She leaned over and kissed me softly. I kissed her back, putting my hand on her cheek. She pulled away and kissed my forehead. "All the things I want to do to you, Rachel Dawson." She whispered.
