Rachel's POV

I'm in my new room, setting it up to my liking. I had some posters up and set up my record player and vinyls. There was a knock at my door and I opened it up revealing this very attractive guy.

He was wearing a red and black button up and black skinny jeans. His hair was a brownish color and he has a nose piercing.

"Hi." I greeted.

"Hi. My name is Austin."

"Rachel."

"The new girl."

"If that's what I'm called, then yes, I'm the new girl." I replied laughing.

Austin laughed and he walked in my room.

"Got a very different music taste than most." He said looking at my Old Hollywood posters.

"They're movies." I clarified. "And yes, my music taste is diferent." He laughed and looked at me.

"Do you wanna go out on a date sometime?"

I stood there shocked. I knew this guy for like five minutes and he's already putting the moves on me.

"Don't you like to work fast." I joked.

He laughed and nodded. "Why not?"

"Hmm, what the hell? Alright." I replied smiling.

He smiled and walked to the door. "I'll be back here at seven. Sound okay?"

"Perfect." I replied.

He left my room and I flopped on my bed smiling.

I have a bad feeling about that guy.

Dude chill out, I'm actually excited to go on a date.

There's something about him that I don't like.

Ugh whatever.

I stopped talking to my wolf and I left the room. I was wearing a black t-shirt and jean shorts and my hair was down.

Ugh, I need to change my hair color.

NO MORE DIFFERENT HAIR COLORS!

Stop talking.

I blocked out my wolf and went to the kitchen.

"Maybe I should come down here more often." A voice said.

I turned around and saw a blonde hair guy wearing just basketball shorts.

"I don't know why. I'm just making something to eat." I replied shrugging.

"Let me help you out." He offered.

"It's okay, I can manage."

"No, I insist." He told me.

"Okay then. I'm just making a turkey and cheese sandwich."

"Do you want turkey or chicken?"

"Chicken!" I replied my face lighting up.

He chuckled and he heated up some chicken and I buttered the bread and he put the chicken on and immediately adding the cheese, making it melt. I added pickles and ranch and soon, we were done.

"That smells like a good sandwich." The blonde said.

"Yeah." I coughed on it and liked it to make sure he wouldn't eat it.

"Now you can't eat it, Blondie." I replied smirking.

He raised an eyebrow and asked, "Blondie?"

I shrugged. "Yeah, I don't know your name."

"Try Colton." He replied.

"Nah, I like Blondie more." I replied taking a bite out of my sandwich.

He growled and I giggled patting his shoulder and walking away, eating my food.

I didn't know where my parents were or my brother, so I walked around saying hi to whoever walked past me and eating my food. I saw Austin playing football and he saw me and waved. I waved back and he was tackled instantly. I laughed and jogged over to him.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, I've taken harder hits before." He replied.

"Hey Austin, who's your girlfriend?" Some dude asked.

"She's new." Austin replied.

"I'm Taylor. How are you New?"

I rolled my eyes and said, "You know, doing your mom last night was hella amazing. She said she needed something New."

He smirked and told Austin, "I like this one."

Austin blushed and told Taylor, "Rachel and I are not dating."

I laughed and sat by Austin.

"Speaking of that, when is Karen coming back?" Taylor asked.

"Man, I don't know."

"How do you not know, she's your sister."

"Ask my dad about that. He's the one that sent her to go do business, not me."

"Yeah because you have to stay here since to you got in trouble."

"What kind of trouble?" I asked.

"I almost got us into war with another pack."

"Now what did you do?" I asked.

"The alpha's son is an ass. Let's just leave it at that." He replied.

I laughed and nodded. "I didn't know you had a sister Austin. And that you're the alpha's son."

"Yeah, let's just say I got chewed out for not being there to greet you and your family."

"So is our date a way to make it up to me?"

"No, our date is legit." He assured me.

I looked at him and he crossed his heart and held up his hand. "Alpha's promise."

I giggled and nodded and I walked around the land with him, everyone giving us their hellos.

When we got back to the pack house, Alpha Alex and Luna Lisa were talking to Beta Zack and his mate, Carey and my parents.

"There they are!" Luna Lisa excliamed.

"Yeah, here we are Mom." Austin replied.

"Where have you two been?" My mom asked smirking.

"Walking." I replied rolling my eyes.

"Roll your eyes at me again, I'm gonna smack them in the back of your head." My mom said sternly.

I opened my mouth to say something but I quickly closed it.

"Yes ma'am."

Austin chuckled and I hit him in the stomach. He doubled over and I told the adults I was gonna go in my room.

That wonderful scent that belongs to my mate, drives me crazy. My wolf gets upset and I try to comfort her but she told me that the only comfort she'll accept, is from her mate. That scent was on Austin but it wasn't very strong.

I saw that it was almost seven and I took a shower and changed into a black sleeveless dress that really showed off my figure. I put my black hair in a bun and had some strands of hair out. I put on eyeliner and a nude lipstick color. I put on my black flats and sprayed a bit of perfume. A knock was at my door and I opened it and Austin was standing there in a button up shirt with a tuxedo jacket and jeans. He looked hot. And I wanted him.

NO! We're waiting until we find our mate!

You're no fun.

"You look gorgeous Rachel." Austin said.

"Thank you." I replied blushing.

"Come on, I don't wanna be late."

"Late, where are we going?" I asked confused.

"You'll see." He replied.

"Then let me get my gloves." I told him.

I grabbed my elbow length gloves and and I put them on, following Austin out of the house. We got in a car and Austin started driving into the city.

This date is gonna be hella fun.
