Cal's triplets.

*************

My babies arrived a month ago. I say another thank you to the Ancient One for blessing me with three adorable angels. Or as Esme fondly calls them; the leech, the fur coat, and the mash-up. I don't know where she gets these names.

I have the cutest babies in the world. I know every parent says that but I'm right. Everyone that has seen them says the same thing. They are the most beautiful triplets in the whole wide world. They are all sleeping in the same crib now. They go on high decibels when we put them in separate cribs. Jeffery figured out the reason for their cries, they want to be together. Dang, we wasted money on the other two cribs. I guess it's good they want to be together.

A day after their birth, our manor was filled with family and friends.

"Cal, they are beautiful," Georgiana says, holding baby number one in her hands. "Look Rick, your cousin."

"And you still don't have names for my grandsons," Lord Nikolas bellows.

"Shush dear, don't wake the babies," Lady Nessa whispers as she peers over baby number two in Minerva's arms. Baby number three is sleeping in Raven's arms.

"We can't seem to decide on their names yet, my lord," Darric tells him.

"We're working on it though," Rafe tells his parents.

"You three better decide before the induction," Lord Nikolas warns.

My mates who initially thought I should be the one 'taking care' of our babies, they have been very 'hands-on'. They have been all over the boys like their shadows. One thing they gladly allow Jeffery to do without arguing is changing their diapers. I have so many pictures of both with one baby or two or three sleeping on their chests. All my men, so cute.

"He is so beautiful, Cal," Serena murmurs, and lightly touches baby number three's face.

"They all look like you Cal," Roland tells me.

"No, they don't. They look like Alpha Darric," Cole responds.

"I beg to differ, I have known Rafe since he was this small, and they all look like him," Raul joins the argument.

Everyone starts to defend who they think my babies look like. I just lean back in my bed smiling. As long as they grow up to be good men, they can look like the man in the moon for all I care. I watch my babies in the arms of my family, and I thank the stars for giving me more than I deserve.

My bedroom is cramped with everyone coming to see my three new loves. The grands, Georgiana, Raul, Rick, Alpha Salim, Roman, Raven, Serena, Roland, Joaquim, Beta Cole, Minerva, Katreena, Freddy, Summer, and Esme. The babies are being passed around like day-old bread. I think the boys like all the attention because they have not made a sound.

"Excuse me, everyone, I have refreshments in the den for you. Please follow me," Jeffery tells the whole group.

"Don't you like how polite Jeffery puts his request when he wants us all to get the hell out of your room," Georgiana winks at me. She gets up and puts baby number one in the crib as do Raven and Minerva with babies' number two and three.

"Come on everyone," Esme says, "let's leave the three boys with their daddies for a while. I think Cal is exhausted. Lord knows I would be too if I had to carry these-"

"Esme!" I caution her.

"-angels. I was going to say, angels, in my stomach."

"She's right, I am a little tired."

Georgiana walks over to Rafe and whispers something in his ear.

"I'm curious, what do you two whisper to each other? He did the same to you when Rick was born" I ask.

"Just the same thing he whispered in my ear at the birth of my children."

"What?" Darric asks I guess I'm not the only curious one.

"I said, 'thank you for giving me three more people to love'," Georgiana says.

"That's lovely. Thank you, everyone, I love you guys." I exchange hugs and kisses with everyone and then blessed silence.

"Why don't you take a nap?" Darric tells me.

Rafe meanwhile covers the babies up and sits in the rocking chair beside them.

"I will but first did you guys tell Alpha Salim, Beta Cole, and Raul that they're the boys' godfathers?"

"We did."

"And Raven, Serena and Katreena as godmothers?"

"We did. Why didn't you choose Esme?"

"I had a dream that Esme and I are even going to be more intertwined as we get older, so she doesn't need to be their godmother. She loves them just as much as I do, no worries. And guys, we must name the babies before we introduce them to the pack and clan."

"That's true. It'll be weird if we introduce them as baby number one, two and three as we've been calling them."

"My Lords," Jeffery enters our room.

"Yes, Jeffery."

"I have the names of my Lords."

"You have the WHAT of my sons?" Rafe asks him.

"The Sun god gave me their names before he left, and he wants me to tell you two additional things."

"Are you kidding me? I don't even get to name my own sons," Rafe bellows.

"Calm down, babe. There must be a reason for this," I tell him.

"I'm with Rafe on this issue. Why can't we name our own sons?" Darric growls.

"Guys, we haven't been able to decide on their names ourselves. And history has demonstrated that there must be a reason for this new development."

"The Sun god and Moon goddess came up with these names for the Lords," Jeffery continues in his unperturbed manner. "High Lord's name is Axel; Alpha Lord's name is Aydan and Lord's name is Allen. The first thing he says is that you do not give them a last name. The Lords will choose their last name together on their eighteenth birthday with their mates."

"This is too much. We don't name our children and we don't give them our last names; someone please tell me what we've given them or allowed to give them."

"We gave them life and lots of love, Darric. I am learning that there are reasons for why the Sun god and Moon goddess do what they do. I know that if these suggestions will harm our babies or us, the Ancient One will not allow it. And to be fair what last name were you two planning to give our boys?"

And they answer simultaneously,

"Klyne-Grey."

"Grey-Klyne."

"I rest my case."

"The second thing is that unlike generations past, I will not be the Lord's watchers as I have been with new lords for generations of Klynes."

"What? Why not?" I yell. I cannot lose Jeffery. I have come to trust the man with my mates and now my babies.

"Lords Allen, Aydan, and Axel will have new watchers on their third birthdays. Believe me my Lord, our sole purpose, as watchers, is to guard our Lords and the new watchers will do exactly that."

"You'll still be my, our watcher, right?" I ask him.

"Of course, my Lord. If you'll excuse me, I'll go prepare the Lords' bottles."

And he leaves just like that. He delivers a life-changing message and leaves.

A few minutes later, I get up and walk over to my babies. I bend over their crib and greet each one individually.

"Welcome Allen and thank you for joining our family."

"Welcome Aydan and thank you for joining our family."

"Welcome Axel and thank you for joining our family."

When I finish, a blue haze covers the crib like a dome and Jeffery returns and bows to the babies, saying; "Halloweth be Lord Allen. Halloweth be Alpha Lord Aydan. Halloweth be High Lord Axel."

And my three-day-old babies, float to the blue haze, touch it, laughing. And they float back down and promptly fall asleep.

"Shit!" Darric whispers.

"You took the words right out of my mouth," Rafe whispers.

"And the legend continues," I reply.

A month later, we introduced the babies to Silvern Clan and BloodRose Pack at their separate induction ceremonies. And now we're having a joint introduction of the babies to the surrounding leaders of clans, packs, covens, and gatherings and our immediate family members. The Ruling Council asks that we do this joint supernatural introduction as our tri-union is a first comprising of two werewolves and a vampire.

"Damn, if the world ends today, I think everyone will hold you responsible," Esme giggles.

"I pray not."

"Can you feel all that power in attendance?"

"You know why you're not their godmother, right?" I ask Esme. I want her to know I consider her more than a godmother to my babies.

"Because I'm their mother," she replies gleefully.

"In a manner of speaking," I smile at her.

"They sure are growing fast. Are you going to try for more babies?"

"Esme please let me enjoy these three first. I can't wrap my head around another baby right now."

"I'm just saying that people say that it is good for siblings to be born close in age."

"Says who?"

"Dr. Seuss?"

"You're crazy. Come on, I think it's time, let's go."

We all make our way to the pavilion we built at Yorke manor. Not as big as the one in Klyne manor but big enough. We are led to the middle of the pavilion where we sit with our babies; I hold Axel, Darric holds Allen and Rafe holds Aydan.

Esme does her chants first. Then the council members say individual blessings for each child, that was as long as fuck! Then the leaders of the clans, packs, covens, and gatherings in attendance all walk by us and acknowledge each child. After the last person, the blue hue covers the children again but this time they didn't float up to touch it, thank the Sun god. I won't know how to explain it.

"Halloweth be," everyone says in response to the blue haze.

"Did the boys do that?" Esme asks through our link.

"Yep!" I reply gleefully.

"That's my boys. Chip off the old block. Just don't tell the Ruling Council."

"I wouldn't dare."

After the refreshments and getting to know more of the leaders of the supernatural world, I, of course, use the opportunity to tell them about P.E.A.R.L. Academy and introduce Minerva.

One pompous Alpha asks if I plan to send my children to the school. I reply yes, we plan to send them. I tell myself to keep an eye on that Alpha. He rubs me the wrong way.

Overall, it was a festive and nice induction of Axel, Aydan, and Allen with no last names, to the community.

Next is the Epilogue. Between you and me, I shed a tear or two when I entered 'completed' for this book.
