"We're here," Alpha Salim says. We arrive at a private airfield.

The cars pack near a sleek looking aircraft, I think they call this a jet. We get out and Alpha Salim leads the way to the jet.

Joaquim walks over to the first of the two cars and two hugeand I mean hugewerecats step out of the first car and two more out of the second. They are taller and bigger than Alpha Salim and all sport long flowing blonde hair.

The jet is beautiful. I walk in and to my left is the pilot cabin, with two seats and all these buttons, hand gear, and what nots for a safe trip, I pray. In front is a door, don't know where or what it leads to. We turn to the right and holy smokes; I stop dead at the awesomeness inside this jet.

"Wow, this is, this is..." Serena whispers.

I know, girl, no words to describe the luxury in front of us. There are eight seats in front of us. They are four on each side and they are placed opposite each other with a wooden table that shines like gold between each pair. Then there's a three-person sofa like chair after the rows of chairs to your left. The ones to your right have a couple of doors opposite them. Each chair has a leg rest, head rest, and some buttons on the windowsill. The windowsills have these gold-plated lining all around the edges.

Alpha Salim motions me to the first two chairs and we sit opposite each other, Raven and Serena walk to the three-person sofa like chair and sit down, Joaquim and Roland sit in the chairs across from us. Two of the werecats go directly into the pilot cabin and the other two werecats take the last two seats, with their feet on the chairs opposite them.

Sheesh, have some manners folks!

"Ready for takeoff Alpha, buckle up everyone," a voice says overhead.

Here we go to our new home.

And with that thought running through my mind, I lay my head back, grab the chair handles for dear life and close my eyes.

I rub my face gingerly. Salim sure packs a punch. How dare he harbor my mate? He should know better as an Alpha. You don't poach on another Alpha's mate, no matter the reason.

"You were planning on rejecting him again, so why do you care?" Asks my wolf, Titan.

"He rejected me too, remember?"

"I would too if you called me every awful name under the sun and treated me like crap. I want him, I sense a strength in him like no other Omega. At least you are smart enough not to accept his rejection. So, get off your ass and find our mate and make things better for us."

"No, he'll come back because he needs me and hungers for me, and until then Suzie will do."

"OVER. YOUR. DEAD. BODY," Titan growls.

I shut him off quickly.

When Titan goes on a rampage, it's hard to rein him in. I can't believe Titan threatened me. Me, his human. I know our wolves are a part of us, sort of a symbiotic relationship, but to threaten his human is unheard of. Still, I'll stay away from Suzie until he calms the fuck down.

My mate has some guts though, finding a strong Alpha to house him and his friends without anyone's knowledge. Damn, he has some balls, for an omega.

I open a folder on my desk with the information I requested about that witch. Time to learn more about the enemy and plan my next course of action.

The flight to North Dakota is smooth, not that I have any other plane ride to compare it with. We get into the cars and on our way to the Crimson River Pack. We drive through a small town with mom and pop stores and beautiful houses on the outskirts.

Thirty minutes later, we pull up to a huge house. The outside is beautiful. Looks like a two-story Mediterranean mansion. I would say about 10,000 square feet. The outside has these tall boulders with intricate designs all over it, painted eggshell white and the windows have gold-like color around them. There are also several smaller houses on park land.

We walk in through a set of double doors and straight into what looks like a large recreation center, about the size of half a basketball court. The inside is totally different from the outside, with a contemporary layout. There are a lot of teenagers in the room. Some are watching TV, some playing ping pong, some are hanging all over each other, and the majority are glued to their phones. We walk by, many run up to Alpha Salim and he fist bumps the boys, and hugs the girls. A few of the teenagers roar softly at us. A teenage girl runs up to Alpha Salim and gives him a hug, while a similar looking teenage boy casually walks up to them.

"There'll be no roaring or disrespecting my friends. Understood? Good. There's going to be a pack meeting tonight, attendance mandatory, be on time," says Alpha Salim as he hugs the girl back and ruffles the boy's hair.

"Yes, Alpha," they chorus.

"Winter, Summer; come with me."

The two teenagers follow us up a set of stairs, we walk down a long corridor and enter a room that I assume is Alpha Salim's office. The room has the standard table, few chairs, a three-person sofa, computer, cabinets like an ordinary office.

"Winter, Summer, meet Callum Yorke, Roland Tyler, Raven Hayes, and Serena Keary. They're joining our pack and will be introduced to pack members tonight. Show them to their rooms and make them comfortable. I want you to be their guide until they get settled in. Give them a full tour of the pack lands tomorrow. Thanks."

"Sure, thing Salim" responds the girl cheerfully.

"Let's go," grumbles the brother. He walks off without any regard to whether we are following him or not. Rude.

"Ignore my brother, we all do."

And you're so chipper, I thought.

We are led down the hallway to another area of the house with two opposite rooms.

"Here you are. Salim said to prepare two rooms. We put all your stuff in this room, but I can prepare two more rooms if you like," Summer offers, pointing to the room on her right.

"No two is fine, Roland and I will be in one and the ladies will be in the other, thank you."

"Go ahead and get settled in, if you need anything just call me. There are two cellphones in each room and their numbers are taped on the back. They also all have Salim's, Winter's and my numbers programmed in them. I'll come and get you guys for the meeting tonight."

And off she goes, pulling Mr. Grumpy along with her.

Raven slowly walks into the room. She runs her fingers gently over the sofa and plops down in it with a deep sigh. She jumps up and walks to the closed door, opens it, walks in and screams. We run to find her laughing, jumping up and down on a queen size bed.

"Wow, these folks know how to live large," she says her hair flying over her face. I am just glad the unstated anxiety we all had at the thought of living in a werecat pack seems to be lessening.

"Holy crap, there's another bedroom over here!" screams Serena, I swear that girl needs a lesson in using her indoor voice. Every so often she just screams like a banshee.

"Roland let's go check out our room," I grab him and march over to the opposite suite. Ours is exactly like the other one, also with two bedrooms. I see our cellphones by the bed and grab one, lay down on the bed and dial the only number I know by heart. Roland lays down beside me.

"Hey, we made it."

"So, how's the pack, playing catch the yarn with the pussy cats yet?"

"One of these days, Esme, your mouth is going to get you in real trouble. Anyway, we're going to be initiated into the pack tonight. I told him about WOOD Inc. After he told us that everyone is expected to be a contributing member of the pack. I mean I had to, I didn't want him to think we'll be burdens to the pack, he's so nice to accept us after all so I―"

"Slow down, take a deep breath," Esme interrupts my rant. "Salim wouldn't ask you to do anything he wouldn't ask any of his cubs to do."

"I hope you are right. Our friendship is against my pack rules and then we are business partners? Telling him about Wood Inc is daring at the very least. And my former pack will eviscerate us if they find out."

"Let them try. As for Salim, he really is one of the good ones, so relax. If you tell him I said that, I will not hesitate to castrate you."

"Wouldn't dare. I want to keep all my man parts, thank you very much. Save this number, it's my new one. Talk later? I really miss―"

She hung up! We need to work on that girl's mouth and manners.

"They will be here soon to get us for the meeting," Roland says.

"Are you okay, I mean do you think we'll be fine here?"

"I believe so, for some reason I have a good vibe about this pack, except for that 'Joaquim' person. He pisses me off, what's his problem with me?"

I hug Roland.

My poor Roland, he is starting to feel the pull but won't have the full effect till he turns eighteen in a few months. Should I tell him or let his mate? No, I'll let his mate, there's no reason to make the poor boy more anxious than he already is.

Tired from all the stressful activities of the day, I fall asleep.

"Hi, Uncle Rafe, have you seen mother?" asks Freddy as she walks into the sitting room.

"Somewhere around here. Your father stopped by so―"

"I know, I know, they're either fighting and breaking everything around or fucking up a storm, got it."

She plops down on a sofa, kicking off her shoes.

"Watch your language."

"I need to talk to mother. Guess I'll hang with you or the grands till they come up for air."

"Your grandparents are out for the evening, so you're stuck with me kiddo."

"Cool, I love hanging with my favorite uncle. And I'm not a kid," says Freddy.

"I'm your only uncle and you are a kid."

"Still my favorite," she says as she walks over to me and hugs me from the back.

"Freddy, why do you smell like my mate?" I ask as I turn around, stand up, grab Freddy by the neck, lifting her off her feet, smell her neck deeply, and hiss.

We finally meet High Lord Rafael 'Rafe' Klyne. Sookie, sookie now, things are about to get very, very bloody for our little omega 😊
