Jason Dolley as Callum 'Cal' Yorke

I raised my knee and kneed him in his balls, hard! He groaned, clutched his manly parts and rolled off me. I scrambled off the bed and ran as fast as my legs could carry me. I bypassed the elevators and ran down the four flights of stairs—half naked with only my pants on—into our room, slammed and locked the door. Much good locking the door will do for me. I turned around and faced three pair of eyes looking at me strangely. Serena jumped off her bed, asked me what was wrong and helped me to my bed, while Roland wrapped a towel around my shoulders.
"I found my mate; he rejected me; he almost raped me; I kneed him in the balls, ran out of his room, and I think he's going to kill me!" I cried, shivering.
"You found your mate and he rejected you?" Raven yelled.
"He almost raped you?" Serena screeched.
"You kneed him in the balls?" Roland groaned, and covered his privates.
"He's definitely going to kill you," Raven said.
"Oh my god, I'm dead. What am I going to do?"
"Who is your mate?" Raven asked.
"Alpha Darric," I whispered.
"Who?" all three yelled.
"You are most definitely dead. Alpha Darric? There's nowhere for you to hide. He will find you and take delight in hurting you. He will break every bone in your body. He will have his 'boys' rain pain on you like never before. You kneed him in the balls? The balls? Did I say you are dead? Yep, you're dead meat," Roland said, shaking his head.
"I have to see Esme. I need her help, now." I told them.
"What can she do? She's not here to protect you; she's not part of the pack."

"I know, but she can give me something to hide my scent or something else until I figure out what to do." I got up and put on a new shirt and jacket, grabbed my wallet, and headed for the door. "Hide everything; and I mean everything. He has every reason to barge in here any time, and we have worked too long and too hard to have it all fall apart now. Okay, guys?"
"Sure. Be very careful Cal. We'll cover until you get back," Serena said when she stopped me at the door, gave me a hug and a kiss.
I carefully opened the door, looked left and right, and ran for the main door. I made it out the door and ran for the woods. Ignoring my clothes, I shifted into my wolf and ran for the town. Sköll dashed through the trees, running as fast as possible through the forest. A few steps into No Man's Land, the safe haven for all supernatural, Sköll relaxed, and took a deep breath. Something hard suddenly crashed into him, and Sköll rolled over and over. He got up shakily and standing in front of him was Titan—Alpha Darric's wolf—four feet tall, huge, and the shiniest, jet-black color.
"You dared hurt my human," Titan roared.
"Your human tried to hurt mine," replied Sköll, standing as tall as he could. And for an omega wolf, he's quite tall at two feet.
"You dared to talk back, dared to disrespect your Alpha, and dared to leave pack lands without permission of your Alpha mate?" Titan circled him, sniffing the air.
"Dared to, dared to, dared to. Is that your middle name or something?" Sköll mocked while wagging his tail and circling Titan, his eyes following Titan's movements.

"Now is not the time to be sassy, Sköll, we need to get the heck out of here or our butts are in big trouble," I pleaded.
"I see I have a defiant mate. I like that. Nothing better than breaking down a mate into a submissive and respectful wolf."
Titan suddenly jumped on Sköll and pinned him down. His fangs sank into Sköll's neck and he threw him against a tree. I felt a bone break as Sköll laid on the ground and groaned in pain.
"Run, Sköll. Please run." I pleaded again.
"No, he won't kill me, because if I die, he dies. And he's too full of himself to kill himself."
"This pain is too much, Sköll. Please, I can't bear it."
Feeling me withdraw, Sköll got up and ran past Titan.
"Hold on, Cal. We're almost out of No Man's Land. Only a few more minutes and we'll be safely off park land. A few more minutes. Hold on, dammit!"
Sköll ran faster, almost out of range, and then we were knocked down hard a second time. Sköll laid down, not moving. Stepping in front of him is Ronan, Darric's brother and Beta. He changed into his wolf, Gorg, picked us up, and was about to fling us, when Titan charged him. Gorg released us, and we collided with the hard ground. The pain and the need to heal changed us back. I laid there with bruises all over my naked body.
Gorg tilted his head at Titan. Titan roared at him and bit his leg. Gorg changed back, and Ronan stood up shakily and bowed his head. "Apologies, Alpha."
Titan turned to me and changed back to Alpha Darric. He knelt down, caressed my face before moving his hand down my chest to my side. There was burning heat trailing his touch. I moaned from the heat, and then suddenly, he squeezed hard on my abdomen, and I groaned in pain.
"That's right, Omega, I will have you any way I want you; in pain or in heat. You're mine." He caressed and squeezed my body simultaneously for a few seconds.
"No. I, Callum Yorke, reject —" My head snapped back from a hard hit to my face and felt like it was on fire.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Here I am minding my own business, and I see an Alpha disobeying the very first rule of No Man's Land. You know the one, don't you, Alpha? What's a witch to do?"
I slowly turned to the familiar voice. Esme was floating above us, glaring, red-faced, and surrounded by shimmering cloud up to her waist. The cloud swirled around her rapidly, churning. Now, that's a new one. I've never seen clouds shimmer and swirl around her before. I heaved a sigh of relief and wonder why I didn't sense her before.
"Because you were so focused on your mate and your pain, fur coat," Esme snickered, reading my mind.
"Good to see you too, my favorite bitchy witch. Get me out of here. I need to heal," I whispered.
"Humpf. What am I, your maid?" She sighed.
"Right now, just my savior."
Smiling and praying to the Goddess that Esme doesn't do too much damage to my mate, I fainted.
What do you think our wily Esme will do to the great Alpha Darric?
