THREE MONTHS LATER
May 18, 2020
phoenix, arizona
Dakota chopped up the last of her carrots while Luther Vandross (Never Too Much) played throughout the home while she made herself a vegan shake, before she headed on her hike.
She and Noah were in Arizona with her mother and younger sister so she was around some loud, talkative people.
It was the day before her mother's and she was an her sister were planning on going out to eat but knowing her mom she would've found a way to stay inside.
Just then her doorbell rung causing her to stop her cooking an go see who was at the doorbell, she wasn't expecting anyone important so she wondered who it could be.
She made her way towards the front door and before she could answer it her stepfather walked past her practically bumping into her almost causing her to fall down.
"Excuse you?" She retorted with an attitude.
"Oh, were you getting the door should've been a little quicker." He said with a sly smirk.
She had to bite her tongue cause she really wanted to beat this man's face in, but she had to be cordial for her mother's sake.
Anyway he got the door and there stood her cousin Sasha with her daughter Tatiana.
"Hey Uncle Kordye, I heard my favorite cousin was back in town!" She says while hugging him.
"Hey boo! I've been missing you like crazy!" Sasha says as she went to hug her cousin.
"Gurl same, is this my baby cousin, hey tati!" She says as she picked up the two year old.
"Oti!" Tatiana says with a smile.
Tatiana couldn't say Dakota right so she started to call her Oti which was so cute. The two made they're way into the living room which was next to the open kitchen.

Dakota put Tatiana down and went back to making her shake as she placed all of the ingredients inside the blender.
Once she was finished she poured it in her cup she used when she worked out, and made her way towards the couch where she took a seat.
"So, cousin where's my little friend at I know he ain't sleep?" Sasha says.
"Noah is with his aunt and grandmother giving me some piece of mind." Dakota says.
"Awee I brought Tati over here so them two could have a playdate." Sasha says.
"He should be coming back pretty soon though. So what's been up with you an your life?" Dakota says.
"Well! Look!" She says extending her hand showing a huge diamond hand on her ring finger.
Dakota had to closely look at her cousins hand because she thought she was seeing things at first.
"So Camry finally did it huh!" She says excitedly.
"Yes! We've been together for nine years and I'm finally gonna be his wife!" She says as she flipped her hair.
"I'm excited for you, I'm happy your getting married when will you guys be giving out invites cause I need mine first." Dakota said.
"You will get yours of course. Anyway when will you be walking down the aisle Ms. Thing?" Sasha asks.
Dakota honestly hadn't thought of marriage or even being someone's wife there was ccx a time when she wanted to get married, but that shipped sailed. She guessed it was due to her situation with the man she picked to be with an how he damaged her.
"I-I don't think I'll be a good wife." She stated.
"What?? Dakota when we were kids we always talked about getting married to the men of our dreams and having our kids be best friends. Even though our kids have the same birthday and are two years apart we can still marry the men for us." Sasha says.

"Dakota, can you set the table please?" Her mother asked before closing her bedroom door.
"Okay?" She says while staring at her phone.
She was on facetime with Von.
"Aight gang, u do. We got into dat argument an ya ass was ready ta kill my ass on king dave." He said with a laugh.
The two got into a huge argument two weeks ago and are just now talking.
"Whateva gang, where my son?" He says.
Dakota made this face shaking her head this was anew one for her.
"How long u gon be in Arizona?" He asked.
"U wanna move back?" He says.
She looked up to see her stepfather standing in her doorway, this was one reason why she left home. The man was just plain out creepy.
"Why you standing in my doorway like that?" She says while getting up out of her bed.
"Your mother said come set the table." He replied.
"And, I told my mother I would come too. I don't need you to relay the message." She said.
Next thing Dakota knew he grabbed her by the neck causing a huge commotion, she ended up dropping her phone on the ground.
"Gang?" He replied.
It sounded like there were multiple voices which sounded like her family.
"This nigga just choked my sister you think imma keep my cool about this shit!" Her sister yelled.
phoenix, arizona
Von stood at the door taking a deep breath before ringing the doorbell, it was nightfall in Phoenix an of course he knew Dakota was gonna want an explanation of how he found out where her family lived.
Let's just say, she seemed to leave her location on all the time so he knew where she was at ever hour.
Anyway, he proceeded to ring her doorbell waiting a couple of minutes until a woman that resembled Dakota opened the door.
"Hey I'm Dayvon, you're daughter's boyfriend." He responded.
"Well it's nice to meet you come inside sweetiepie!" She says with a warm smile.
He walked inside the home seeing it was huge, it looked gorgeous on the inside and was kept clean.
"You must be looking for my daughter let me go get her hopefully she comes out of her room." Her mother stated before walking down the hallway.
He found himself sitting in the living room soaking in the warmth an coziness of her moms living room, there he saw a shrine with pictures.
"What're you doing here and how'd you know where my mom lives?" She asked.
He looked up to see Dakota her eyes were all red, and puffy like she'd been crying. Von came only cause he wanted to be sure she was good.
"Where dat nigga?" He asked standing up.
"Wh-He left my mother kicked him out." She replied looking away.
"Imma stay wit u, imma needa keep dis nigga on his toes on king dave." Von replied.
She let out a small chuckle walking up him giving him a hug which she knew she needed one.
"Don't be actin all different wit me." He says as he placed a kiss ontop of her head.

The Legendary Class
At the height of the Age of Terror, humankind lay shattered, its few survivors scattered like dust in the wind. It is said that at the brink of extinction, the Gods intervened and blessed five champions known as “The Titans” with legendary classes. To this day, every small child dreams of obtaining a legendary class. Whether there is any truth to this ancient tale is unknown, but it is a certainty that in each generation perhaps a handful of those children will, in fact, obtain a legendary class. Techno-Heretic
Eli is an ancient man sentenced to death for the crime of surpassing the sacred number of 32.8, which is the allowed percentage of increased mental ability from the use of AI chips. As he journeys through death and into a world of fantasy and magic, he finds himself approaching never before seen heights of magical power and ability. Powers that will shape the world and would see him go down in legends for generations ever after. But just because someone acquires magical abilities, that doesn't mean magic is suddenly the most important thing in their life. Some people aren't looking to be all-powerful gods, have the world bow at their feet, or spend their days obsessing over accumulating ever more power. Some people just want acceptance, stability, and the warmth of their loved ones to drive away the cold loneliness of the night. And in a world where magic is the bedrock of society, where magic is what determines who is preferred for siring children, where people with high magical ability are destined to live in great luxury and those without magic simply live to make due, this difference in values and perspective could not have a starker contrast. As Eli and the people around him navigate the misconceptions and deceptions of this world, he will represent a great and magnificent future for the human race. One where humanity will stand above the elves, dwarves, orcs, fairies, and all the horrors of the world. Sadly, men's tools are as fallible as the people who make them, and in a society where the potential of an individual is determined solely through their magical level, this seed of promise may yet turn venomous. The Grey Realm, an Erebus Story.
Written by: Staugroan and The Inklets. Edited by: Claudia Adams. In the beginning there was a god, who watched over and made one world his own. Soon after the god grew restless, but happened to stumble on a small world filled with life. This world was named Erebus by its peoples; humanity. The god was so fascinated with this new world that he started to copy it back home, creating oceans, forests, deserts, and so forth. Then the god created life and eventually his favored creations who would be immortals and be the better of mankind in every way-the elves. So often the god had traveled to Erebus that the two worlds became linked by magic and their inhabitants could cross at will. Relations between the races flourished, and a great empire was born in the Grey Realm, home of the elves. But the god once again grew restless, and set loose great beasts that stood at the top of any food chain, the apex. At first the elves met the challenge and fought them head on. But mankind was not so lucky, they died in droves to push back even a single apex. Something had to be done. Elves and man worked together to begin sealing off the worlds to protect mankind, to limit the ways in and out to better fight the apex off and keep their fellows safe. The ritual had adverse effects the likes of which neither the elves nor man could predict; the sealing of the worlds started slow, but the magic had never been done before, and in their ignorance it spread to completely cut the two worlds off from one another. It ejected the apex, and other magical being back into the Grey Realm, saving Erebus. At first the elves were content, they would find a way back once the apex were dead and gone. But the seal had done more than keep Erebus locked away. The powersource of the seal was magic itself, from both worlds, and it consumed it all greedily. The elves, weakened without their magic, crumbled into ruin, and the apex were free to hunt the other races of the Grey Realm. Two-thousand years later a strange phenomena is occurring and magic is slowly returning to the Grey Realm, and tears open that allow passage to Erebus. Thu'lain and a few elves must make the journey to fallen kingdom of the elves Anosora, in the hopes of reclaiming what was once theirs. They must face their nemesis the apex, and survive not only the species that have turned against them, but a terrible being left behind by the god to kill even the apex. Uch'l'thein, the faceless terror.
