Dakota was in her car listening to one of the many songs she loved was by Maxwell called "Fortunate". At the age of 17 Dakota had so many dreams of becoming a big star packing out shows. But after being in a long abusive relationship Dakota decided to stop making music altogether.

"Come on let's get inside so you can pick the cereal." Dakota says walking beside her sister.
