A week or so had passed since the concert and Dakota was in her tiny apartment studying while her son slept peacefully in his crib.

"I am....finishing up my essay for class then I'll probably watch some tv or something with my son." Dakota said.

"You got a kid?" He says.

"Yeah is that a problem." She said.

Dakota set her phone down an reached in her son's bassinet picking him up seeing Noah was still fast asleep, she swore that child could sleep through a hurricane.

Anyway she picks up her phone showing Von her pride an joy little Noah.

"Lil folks is knocked! How long he been sleep like dat?" He said.

"Like twenty minutes at least. He's a heavy sleeper swear he gets it from his grandpa." Dakota says clearing her throat.

"What's all them papers gang?" He says.

Dakota looked around on her bed seeing she still had her school work out books a notebook paper scattered everywhere.

"My schoolwork my bad I forgot I was still studying." She says with a smile.

"Whatcha going to school for?"

"Nursing." She says.

Von looked to his left and smiled then turned back to staring at the camera, Dakota just fumbled with her hair.

He watched as Dakota licked her bottom lip shrugging. Von couldn't lie she was fine as hell he wanted to ask her out but thought it was too early.

"How old is he?" Von asked.

"He'll be six months next week." She said.

Von smiled a little while staring at her, she looked fine after just giving birth five months ago.

"What's going with lil folks' pops? He in the picture?" He asked.

Dakota sighed an placed a pacifier in her son's mouth.

"Noah's father wanted nothing to do with him an he's locked up." She said while clearing her throat.

"Damn! That's fucked up lil folks adorable, matter fact why don't we plan something for say next week. I want to met you and lil folks." He says with a smirk.

Dakota smiled and licked her lips thinking for a minute before opening her mouth to respond.
