We waited longer than expected for Arlo and Rowan to come back. Turns out they were talking to the principle. As expected he wanted to expel Levi but with some persuasion e decided she can finish online.

Personally I don't think it was any friendly persuasion, I think that they did something to scare him but I'll find that out later.

Right now we're on the way to the new house when I realized that I had to go to the bakery today.

"Hey Arlo." I said.

"What's up Storm?" She asked.

"I was wondering if maybe you could take me to this address real quick?" I asked playing with my fingers.

"Sure just put it in the gps and I'll tell Levi and Rowan." I did what she said while she was on the phone with Rowan.

After she hung up she told me that they would follow behind of us.

"So what's this place?" She asked.

"A bakery that I work, well worked at."

"Okay miss independent."

"And that's on period." I laughed. We talked for the rest of the drive. It was kind of long because of the traffic but it was well spent.

We pulled up to the bakery and I got out of the car before Arlo did and went inside. As I walked in I saw Mrs. Saintclair at the counter talking to some guy in a suit. I know it's not her son because she doesn't have any kids so I was really confused. She gave me a warm smiled and I returned it.

"Good morning Mrs. Saintclair ." I greeted.

"Good morning sugar, your a little early than usual." She smiled. As she said that Levi, Rowan and Arlo came in.

"About that Mrs. Saintclair, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to work here I appreciate it so much but because of some circumstances I can't work here anymore." I said looking down.

"Storm there's something I wanted to speak to you about." She started,

"See I don't have much time left, nor do I have family to pass down the business to and your the only employee that I've had in a long while that I trust,"

"This is my lawyer Mr. Crawford and he has the paper to put the business in your name." As she said that the lawyer opened a briefcase that I didn't notice and handed me the papers.

I stood there shocked I haven't even worked here for a month and you want to leave me your business, this is crazy as hell. I mean I know she's really old yes but leaving me your legacy is just nuts.

"Um I'm at a loss of words right now." I laughed awkwardly.

"You can have some time to think about it, all the information is in the folder and until you make the decision I'm closing the bakery." She said handing me the folder.

"Wait what are you going to do when you lockdown the bakery?"

"I'm going to travel sweetie, I want to live my last days happily." She smiled.

I went behind the counter and hugged her.

"Where are my manners Storm introduce me to your friends." She gently hit my arm.

"Mrs. Saintclair this is Arlo, Levi and Rowan." I said pointing them out.

They said their hello's and she did as well.

"Since the bakery is closing do y'all want the rest of the cakes I baked today?" She asked.

"You know me Mrs. Saintclair I can't say no to your baked goods." I said. She gave us all some cakes in different flavors and she said she would take the rest to a children's home.

We said our goodbyes and got into our separate cars. As Arlo and I started driving I was thinking about what just took place. She wants me to run her business, scratch that she wants to leave me her business.

I'm only 17 , 18 in 2 weeks. Wait my birthday is in 2 weeks. I really forgot about that shit. But that's not important what's important is this fucking decision I have to make. I don't know the first thing about running a business, but Mrs. Saintclair is such a nice lady and I wouldn't want her legacy to fade away.

"You look like your brain is working on over drive." Arlo said.

"It is, I don't know the first thing about running a business. What If I make it go bankrupt?"

"Storm your not going to make it bankrupt, I'll help you with anything you need."

"You have your own business to worry about, you can't help if I take on my own." I shook my head.

"You know that I'll drop anything for you in a heart beat and Levi will help you too, you should sign the contract think of it as you starting your own legacy."

I thought about what she said and she was right, I want my own legacy so this could be my way to start. I just have some adjustments to make.

"I'm going to sign as soon as we get to the house, thank you for motivating me." We were at a stop light so I kissed her cheek softly.

"I told you I got you Storm." She smiled.

"Why aren't you calling me the names you always do?" If I'm honest I miss when she calls me princess and baby girl and all that. It makes me feel all mushy inside.

"Did you want me to keep calling you those names?" She asked.

"I mean yes, I liked when you do." I blushed.

"I didn't want you to be uncomfortable so that's why I stopped, but since your not uncomfortable I'll start again."

I smiled and we talked more. Maybe a hour later we pulled up to one of those rich neighborhoods. You know, like those gated neighborhoods in the suburbs. It's beautiful yes but I ain't never been in this part and I'm not changing just because It might be filled with snobby rich white people.

"A gated community huh." I said.

"It's the safest place I can think of to have a safe house." She replied.

"I mean a underground house is way safer." I laughed.

"Shi we gotta make one then." She looked at me winking.

All the houses we passed looked beautiful and modern. They had a good amount of distance from each other but from the looks of it Arlo was further away from the other houses. So they had more privacy.

We pulled up to a black exterior house with a modern design. It had a lot of open windows, It wasn't too big but It was still big.

"Wow." I said staring at the house in awe.

"You like?" She asked rhetorically.

She turned off the car and opened the trunk. I rested the files and cakes on her car seat and went to help her get the bags. I went to the trunk, grabbed some bags and took them to the front door.

She got the last of the bags and brought the files and cakes and then she opened the door. We walked in and made a few more trips for our bags. After that I finally had a a chance to take in my surroundings.

The interior was matte black and grey and was more spacious then it looked from the outside. It had a huge chandelier hanging in the living room, and the couches were matte black and the walls grey.

She walked me upstairs and told me to pick a room while she got my bags. I protested saying that I can help her but she was too stubborn. I peaked in several rooms until I found the one that would call out to me.

On the last room I saw I immediately knew I wanted it. It wasn't big like the other ones but It was more beautiful. It had 2 paintings against the wall and a little chair in front of the window and the interior was black and grey like the rest of the house.

Arlo found me and brought my bags up.

"You like it?" She asked setting my bag down.

"It's great." I smiled hugging her.

"You wanna come downstairs for a while? We're all in the kitchen about to eat some of the cakes."

I nodded and followed her downstairs. I took in my surroundings and it was elegant as hell and looks expensive. I was afraid to even touch anything cause I'm clumsy and I'll break shit.

"Why you look so scared?" Arlo asked looking back at me.

"You know I'm clumsy and I don't want to break anything." I replied.

"I want you to be comfortable, so what if you break something it can be replaced so relax." She smiled.

We walked in the kitchen and Levi and Rowan was already eating the cakes. They had them around the large table.

"Damn y'all couldn't wait." I laughed.

"Nah man they was too tempting, like this lady can bake." Levi said with her mouth full of cake.

"Yea what she said." Rowan replied. We walked towards the table and grabbed some plates. I got a slice of carrot cake and red velvet cake my two favorite flavors other than Oreo cheesecake.

I was used to Ms. Saintclair's baking but damn every time I eat them it's like the beginning all over again.

"Storm you gotta take over this business cause you can't let these good recipes go to waste." Arlo said stuffing her face.

"Did you decide." Levi asked.

"Yeah since I'm doing online classes and I want to graduate early, I'm going to run the business." I replied smiling.

I finally made up my mind, I firstly don't want to live off of Arlo and Levi. They already burdened themselves with me living in their houses. Secondly I'm inconveniencing them because no people are after me for what I don't know. Thirdly I am not trying to have them take care of my needs. I'm bout to be a whole adult I need to get my shit together and provide for myself.

"Can I get the recipe for this cause it's good as hell." Levi asked giving me puppy dog eyes.

"Girl no It's a secret, but I'll make one for you sometime." I winked.

"Rowan, Strom tryna get at me you better watch out." Levi winked.

" I mean damn If y'all want a threesome just say that." Rowan said moving to put her arm around Levi.

"Aht aht y'all stop tryna make moves on my soon to be, thank you very much."

Damn my heart just fluttered and my belly filled with butterflies.

"Your soon to be huh?" I smiled.

"Yeah real soon too." She winked going back to eat her cake.

Well damn papi.

"Wait how did Levi not get suspended for the fight?" I asked looking at Arlo.

"Hey don't look at me, we just walked in and the principal saw Rowan and got scared shitless." She laughed.

"I did nothing." Rowan smiled mischievously.

"That smile says otherwise." I laughed.

"What did you do to have him scared?" My nosey self asked.

"I can't revel all my secrets now can I?"

"I wanna know too." Levi pouted.

"Baby stop pouting." Rowan peaked her lips several times.

"Then say what you did."

"Damn I just injected him with snake venom when I went there looking for Storm." She shrugged.

"I know your crazy ass did not." Arlo laughed.

"Sure did." Rowan replied smiling hard as hell.

"Ah I love you, but I wish I was there." Levi said kissing her.

We all laughed and ate some more cake and then went our separate ways. Well Rowan and Levi went to get situated in their room while me and Arlo volunteered to clean the the plates and table.

"Hey can we go to your home office after this?" I asked rinsing a plate.

"Yea sure, but how did you know I had a home office?" She asked wiping a plate.

"Well your a business owner and sometimes you don't want to be in your office all day so you have one at home." I explained.

"Very observant."

"You know it." I laughed.

After we finished we walked to my room to get my business package thingy, we went to her office. It was fancy as hell. Like damn can you decorate my house when I buy one.

She sat behind the table and I sat in the chair in front.

"Why you so far ma?" She asked sitting back.

"I mean did you want me closer?" I asked all seductive and shit.

"I always want you close mamas." She says as I walk over to her chair and sat on her lap.

"No getting distracted." I said as she wraps her arm around me.

"Mhm whatever you say baby."

"So can you help me look over these papers please?"

"Yeah of course."

She helped me read through the business contracts. It was basically saying that the business after being transformed to me will be solely ran by me and that until I transfer it to somebody else It cannot be taken form me.

I signed the contract and called the lawyer to tell him. He said that I can drop it off tomorrow. After that I looked through the finance records like I always did but this time I got more access. The business is doing really good financially so I don't have to worry much about the cost of the revamping that I want to do.

She also gave me her recipe book which I never got to even touch before because it was a family secret. It's finally dawning on me that I have a business now. Aye it's boss shit period.

A sharp pain in my side kicked me out of my thoughts and I started whimpering.

"Fuck." I breathed out.

"What's wrong baby girl?" Arlo asked. I just remembered that I didn't take any of my pain pills today. I was just so caught up that it slipped my mind.

"I didn't take my pills and now my back hurts."

She carefully picked me up and carried me to my room then laid me on the bed.

"I'm going to get you some water and then your going to take your pills and get rest." She left out of the room.

She came back in like 2 minutes and handed me my water and asked where the pills were. I pointed to my bag pack and she brought it to me. I took my pills and cuddled into my blanket. I swear Arlo and Levi could be modern vampires cause they always have the ac high as fuck.

Like are you tryna be Elsa cause you need to let that shit go. You tryna be iceland or some cold shit or you just tryna make a human popsicle outta me.

But it does come with advantages like me getting to cuddle with Arlo. She my human size teddy bear and she her warmth is so comfortable.

Arlo turned to leave the room when I asked, "Can you stay with me please?"

"Okay mama" She got under the covers and pulled me towards her. I turned around so I could put my face in the crook of her neck and she wrapped her arms around my waist.

The last thing I remember was her kissing my cheek and then I was out.
