《Brightside》It's going down: Part 2

I woke up and the first thing I noticed was the pain my body was in. I couldn't move, every time I tired It sent a burning pain all over. I noticed that my hands weren't tried anymore. I think I was alone because the house was really quiet.
Everything was coming back to me in pieces. I remember leaving school with Levi and Arlo, going to eat, seeing the messages, coming home and then I got beaten then he took something that I was saving for the love of my life.
I felt empty. I couldn't cry anymore. It just felt like I lost everything, I lost myself. He broke me. He damaged me beyond human repair.
I forced myself up on my feet and against my bodies wishes and used the stairs to push me up then I held on to the sides to drag myself up to my room. I got my hygienic products and made my way to the bathroom.
As I got to the bathroom and took a look in the mirror my heart dropped. I'm black and blue all over. Bruises, welts, slashes and burns. I couldn't cry. I couldn't even stand looking at myself. I carefully stepped in the shower and I just stood there. Lost in my thoughts.
Before I knew It I started scrubbing my body. Not caring about the burning of my skin or the blood that's coming out. I screamed. All the emotions I was feeling could be heard In that scream.
It's not fair, but life's not fair I guess. Maybe I did something bad in my past life that I'm being punished for. Maybe it's my fault that this is happening. I made them hate me, I got them mad. It's me. I'm the issue.
I stepped out of the shower and just changed into sweats and a hoodie. I need to go clean up downstairs before they come back home. But first I needed to find my phone. I slowly walked downstairs, carful not to hurt myself.
At the bottom of the stairs I could see my bag. I walked over there and looked all over but It wasn't in there.
'Damnit.' I mumbled to myself. I must have left It in Arlo's car. I really just wanted to know the time. There's a clock in the kitchen so while I got the cleaning supplies I could look at the time.
I walked over there and the time was 11 am. I just sighed, got the supplies and went to clean. After I finished I just laid on the couch trying to sleep my life away.

I had a good time with my sister and Storm yesterday. It was like I have known Storm longer than I have. She's something special for real for real.
The way she mumbles under her breath when she thinks nobody is listening. The way her laugh is infectious. Her smile makes me want to smile. Everything about her is magnetic to me. But I know that she's hiding something. Something that is destroying her.
I was in my car on my way to the club when got a call from Levi.
"Wassup Levi?" I asked setting the phone up so I could talk and drive.
"I have a bad feeling about Storm." She rushed.
"Why what's wrong?" I asked worriedly.
"Yesterday Storm was panicked about going home and now she's not at school, not to mention the sunglasses indoors and the flinching."
"She's not even answering her phone, we need to check up on her please." She said seriously.
"Alright I'm on my way to pick you up, I'll call the school so you'll be ready when I get there."
"Thank you so much sis." She said hanging up.
I called the school and told them to excuse Levi for the rest of the day because there was an emergency. My thoughts kept running on Storm. I know for a fact she loves school so it's not like her to miss school.
I pulled up to the school. It was lunch time so these fast ass kids were out. I stepped out of my car, locked it and made my way to the office. As I walked up I saw Levi there looking anxious. I went up to the desk signed her out and we went to my car. Levi actually ran and I followed suit, Knowing how worried she is made my heart hurt even more.
She opened the car door and sat in the passenger's side. She tried calling Storm again and we found that she left her phone on the ground on the passenger's side.
"I know this might be invasive but I saw couple message notifications and they're all threatening, Saying that when she get's home she's going to get It worse than she ever did before," Her voice cracked at the end of her sentence.
My sister has never been the type to be attached so deeply to someone she just met and she never cries for other people. This is how I know it's serious to her. I didn't care if I was speeding I had to make sure Storm was good fuck a speeding ticket.

I pulled up to her house and before I stopped the car she jumped out. I parked the car, existed it and locked it. When I walked up the steps I saw Levi pounding on Storm's door.
After 10 minutes of pounding on her door it finally opened. What I seen broke my heart. She had bruises on her face and her thighs. I knew there were more but her hoodie was hiding them.
"Storm." Levi cried hugging her. She was surprised at this and let out a wince, as soon as Levi heard that she let go.
"What's wrong?'" She asked panickily.
"Um you guys should come in." She moved aside giving us space to walk.
We sat on the couch and she sat on the table in front of us.
"What happened yesterday?" I asked looking in her eyes.
"Nothing." She looked down.
I moved closer to her crouched down and took her hand.
"Baby girl we're here to help you okay, tell us as much as your comfortable with." I assured her.
"Okay well."
I didn't want to tell them everything so I kept it simple.
"My mom and her boyfriend got mad at me for coming home late so he hit me around."
"Your leaving something out and I know It but I won't force you, but your not staying here" I said.
"If I leave then I have no where to go." I looked down.
"Your coming with us." Levi said.
" I can't, I don't want to ne a burden towards you both."
" Your not a burden to us, we just want you safe." Levi said
" I can't." I shook my head.
"Mamas what did I tell you, your my little sister's friend so I got to look out for you."
"We got you Storm, I promise." Levi said sincerely
"Now let's go pack your stuff." Arlo said getting up. I stood up and got lightheaded. Arlo saw and she took me in her arms and lifted me up bridal style.
"Where's your room baby girl?" Arlo asked. I have her the directions to my room. As we arrived Levi started emptying my closet and my dresser, with the help of Arlo.
I told them to look for the money in my mattress and we emptied everything I ever bought myself, but I took the laptop and phone that they gave me.
We walked downstairs and I still felt lightheaded. Levi was in front of me with a couple bags and Arlo was next to me. I didn't know what was happening to me all I remember was Arlo calling my name as I fell back being consumed by darkness.
Storm fell into my arms and I screamed for Levi to get the bags In the car and I'll carry Storm. I ran out with her in my arms and told Levi to sit in the back, to hold Storm.
I speeded to the nearest hospital and took Storm into my arms and ran inside.
"Help my girlfriend needs help." I yelled at the top of my lunges.
A nurse and a doctor rushed over with a gurney and I laid her on it. They wheeled her to a room. Levi and I tired to follow but they told us we couldn't.
We sat in the waiting room for what felt like days. Levi wouldn't stop crying, I wanted to so bad but I had to be strong for both her and Storm.
After a couple hours the doctor finally came out.
"Family of Storm Garcia" They called out.
"We're here.' Levi jumped up. She came up to us and started to explain.
"Storm has severe bruising scattered over her body, burns, slashes and there are signs of vaginal tearing and bruising."
She continued to say that "It looks like she was raped and beaten. I'm surprised she's not dead from the severity of the beatings, we don't have to keep her overnight we stitched her up and she's sleeping now,"
"Here's some medicine that we prescribed her, the instructions are on the bottle and make sure she eats 3 times a day."
As soon as Levi heard that she broke down in my arms. I held her to my chest and whispered that everything everything would be alright.
I wanted them dead. I want tp torture them for what they did to her. Storm doesn't deserve any of this. I'm going to make them pay. On God they're going to pay.
"You can sign her out and take her home."
"Thank you." I said. I told Levi to go to Storm's room and I'll sign her out.
After signing her out I went to her room and seeing her on that bed broke my heart. I picked her up delicately, I took Levi's hand and led her out of the hospital.
I'm going to protect these girls even If It's the last thing I do.
