[1 year later]
"The time is passing by like a breeze" Aderi commented as she lay her head on the table.
"It sure does pass quickly" Lucas replied as he looked away from the book he was reading to get a glance at Aderi.
"Why do you look sad?" Lucas asked, Aderi looked at Lucas.
"I wonder how he is..." Aderi said worriedly. Lucas sighed as he put a bookmark on his book.
Right now Aderi was thinking about Cael, today marks the day Cael said farewell to her.
"Who knows...why are you so worried about that guy Cael anyway?" Lucas asked as he put the book he was reading down, Aderi just replied with a sigh.
"Come on...I'm sure he's fine" Lucas said as he tried cheering Aderi up. Aderi nodded.
"M'lady!" A maid came shouting for Aderi, Aderi sat up straight and looked at the maid who was running towards them.
"What is it?" Aderi asked quite worried.
"A spokesman from the palace is here, your grandparents are asking for you quickly!" The maid said, Aderi sat up.
"Sir Lucas, you are also needed there," the maid said turning her attention to Lucas. Lucas nodded.
"Very well...let's go lady Aderi," Lucas said as he also sat up, Aderi nodded. The three of them proceed to leave the garden pavilion.

Due to her grandparents exchanging their carriage, they prevented the accident that originally occurred in the novel. Soon enough they saw that there was a loose screw in one of the wheels.
The meeting between her grandparents and the investor in Bisoplain also was a success. Now the Lacita's made more income due to the investor and the business they created. Aderi doesn't exactly know what it is since she never asked.
But in Aderi's speculations, it is probably clothes or some kind of product that uses cloth. Since her grandparents asked Aderi before what kind of cloth is the best. They also mentioned it is for the business with the investor.

"Are all of the nobles from this mansion here?" The spokesmen from the palace asked as he saw Aderi and Lucas making their way to Aderi's grandparents.
"Yes" her grandmother answered, and the spokesmen cleared their throats.
"I hereby declare, order by the king that there will be a special banquet next week. All nobles must attend to celebrate" the spokesmen said reading the scroll with the royal seal on it.
"That is all, here are your invitations," the spokesman said as he handed each one an invitation card.
"Very well, goodbye," the spokesmen said as he turned around and left the mansion.
"What is this invitation about?" Aderi asked as she examined the envelope.
"Probably to announce the queen is back to her healthy shape to rule again. Or to appoint his one and only son we know Ronan to be the crown prince" Lucas answered Aderi.
"Ronan...the brother of Caelias, Aderi in the novel never really encountered Ronan so he probably isn't a threat," Aderi thought to herself as she was spacing out.
"Dear, the banquet will be next week...why don't you and Lucas go to the town to pick something to wear for the ball," her grandmother said. Aderi was quickly brought back to reality.
"I'll pass...I'm just going to find something to wear in my wardrobe " Aderi answered. All of them looked at aderi confused and shocked.

"Y-you do know we're going to the palace right?" Lucas asked Aderi with a shocked face.
"Yes, I am" Aderi answered.
"You do well know all Nobels will attend. Your dresses might be fancy but we need something more extravagant!" Lucas said worriedly, Aderi just nodded confused.
"And not to mention your first debut in high society" Her grandfather added. Aderi nodded.
"In the Novel, Aderi's first high society debut was when she was 15, but me disobeying my stepmother was moved more later. In the novel, she only made Aderi debut in high society since she wants Aderi to do her dirty acts" Aderi thought thinking about the novel.
"You too Lucas...you've made your debut before when you were 16, but since you're also going, you should also go shop for what you'll be wearing," Aderi's grandmother said, Lucas, nodded.
"And if possible, can you also accompany Aderi to the ball?" Her grandmother asked Lucas.
"W-wait! A-accompany?" Aderi asked her grandmother confused.
"You need to debut with someone, You cannot just go alone or else you'll get laughed at, only males are allowed to go alone in a high society debut" her grandfather answered. Aderi nodded.
"I take the offer to be lady Aderi's escort to the ball" Lucas answered, her grandparents smiled.
"Thank you, Lucas" Aderi's grandmother answered with a smile.
"Go ahead and shop to your heart's content, just put everything in the Lacita's tab, Lucas put yours too in the Lacita's tab," Her grandmother said smiling.
"Thank you for your generosity duchess, and duke Lacita," Lucas said bowing.
"It's nothing dear...now get ready to leave," her grandmother said, Lucas and aderi nodded.

"Are you sure I won't get laughed at? I already reached my age as an adult but still didn't debut, I'm already 18 and turning 19 in a couple of months or weeks, I also still haven't celebrated my 18th birthday which makes me a real adult, who am I kidding you need to go debut in high society first, it's the kingdom rules..." Aderi said looking at Lucas as the carriage started moving.
"Well, it's understandable, not all ladies make their high society debut early, some even do it late, it depends on the circumstances...sadly you won't be able to drink at the ball" Lucas replied looking at Aderi who was in front of him. Aderi sighed as an answer.
"Where shall we go first?" Lucas asked as he leaned back on the carriage chair.
"I don't know...it's been a while since I went to town," Aderi said as she looked outside the carriage.
"When was the last time you went out?" Lucas asked curiously, Aderi looked at Lucas.
"2 months ago when you invited me to shop with you" Aderi answered honestly, Lucas's jaw dropped.
"Y-you should go out more" Lucas said, Aderi shook her head.
"I don't see the point in going out" Aderi answered as she looked back at the window.
"Girls at your age go out shopping all the time...you know that right?" Lucas asked, Aderi nodded.
"Indeed I am aware, I just don't see the point of shopping when my grandparents always give me clothes and jewelry" Aderi smiled, Lucas also cannot help but smile as he looked out the window like Aderi.
"You are different, despite being part of two powerful families" Lucas mumbled to himself with a smile.

Soon enough they reached the town and quickly went straight to the clothing store.

"Phew that took a while, shall we shop for jewelry now?" Lucas asked Aderi who looks so worn out after going out of the boutique.
"Do...they have to ask so many questions just to make a dress?" Aderi asked as she wiped the sweat rolling down her forehead with a handkerchief.
"Of course! You should go more often to these kinds of shops for you to gain experience" Lucas said with a smile.
"In my world...clothes are already made and you just have to choose, this is exhausting," Aderi thought to herself.
"They had to measure my measurements multiple times...is that normal?" Aderi asked again as she adjusted her hat.
"Yes, it is" Lucas answered as he fixed his coat.
"Will they be able to make the dress in time?" Aderi asked again, Lucas nodded.
"Of course! This shop has many workers and they are the top boutique in this country" Lucas replied to Aderi and nodded.
"Now...shall we go and buy you jewelry?" Lucas asked, Aderi nodded.
"Yes, let's! But after this can we go eat?" Aderi asked as they both started walking.
"Of course, where do you wanna eat?" Lucas asked, Aderi looked at the sky.
"Let's go to the restaurant where you took me last time" Aderi answered with a smile.
"Sure! Same order as before?" Lucas asked, Aderi nodded happily.
"This time I wanna try the strawberry drink they have," Aderi said happily. Both of them started giggling.
"Cael let's go!" Someone shouted, Aderi stopped and looked back. He saw someone go into an alleyway.
"Lucas follow them!" Aderi said as she ran after the person.
"Aderi! Wait!" Lucas said as he tried catching Aderi by the hands.
Suddenly Aderi bumped into someone.
"I'm sorry!" Aderi apologized to the person who she bumped into as she continued running after the person.
"I'm sorry for what happened!" Lucas also apologized to the girl who Aderi bumped into before he ran after Aderi.
"Father...don't you think the girl who bumped into me looks like a goddess?" The girl whom Aderi bumped into asked her father who is next to her.
"I didn't see her face dear..." Her father replied, the girl smiled and shook her head.
"You've missed an opportunity father! She was so pretty!" The girl said with a smile.
°
°
°
"Cael faster!" Aderi heard at the end of the alleyway she entered.
"WAIT CAEL!" Aderi shouted. Suddenly the boy with black hair looked behind him.
"May I help you miss?" The little boy asked, Aderi stopped after seeing the little boy.
"Aderi!" Lucas yelled as he ran closer to Aderi.
"What were you thinking running away like that!" Lucas asked panting as he held Aderi's shoulder lightly.
"May I help you miss?" The little boy repeated when Aderi didn't answer.
"I-i'm sorry, I just thought you were someone who I know" Aderi apologized to the little boy.
"My name is a pretty common miss, so I get that you have mistaken me for someone else. If that is all miss, I and my friends will go now" the little boy answered with a smile. Aderi nodded.
"Bye-bye miss!" The little boy said waving at Aderi before he ran with his friends.
"His name is pretty common huh?" Aderi asked as she frowned with disappointment.
"Come on! I'll treat you with ice cream so don't frown" Lucas said trying to cheer Aderi on before he guided Aderi out from the alleyway.

"Father, you were looking for me?" Caelias asked as he entered the throne room.
"Ah yes son, since I think you're ready to be introduced next week I held a banquet" the king smiled proudly.
"Are all the nobles going? Or just higher rank-ups?" Caelias asked curiously.
"All nobles will attend, of course, they all have to know you" the king replied with a wide smile. Caelias nodded.
"Later, there will be someone from the most famous boutique in the kingdom to take your measurements to make your clothes," the king said, Caelias nodded.
"Noted father" Caelias replied.
"You may now leave" the king smiled, Caelias bowed before leaving the throne room.
Caelias was walking in the hallway happily.
"I can finally see Aderi again" Caelias mumbled to himself, although he knows that Aderi might not remember him due to his hair changing white.
"Aderi..." He mumbled Aderi's name again as he looked outside the tall window.
°
°
°
"Blessing to the future sun of the kingdom!" The people from the clothing boutique greeted Caelias as he walked inside the room.
"Thank you for your greetings," Caelias said with a smile.
"Shall we discuss the clothes design, your highness?" One of the women asked, Caelias nodded as he sat down opposite them.
"Alright!" The woman said smiling as she looked at her sketchbook.
"Huh...I must've brought the wrong sketchbook up" the woman said confused as she looked through the pages.
"My apology, your highness I've seemed to bring the wrong sketchbook up, if you'll excuse me I'll fetch it in the carriage," the woman apologized as she sat up putting the sketchbook on the couch.
"It's alright, you may go" Caelias answered the woman.
"We'll also excuse ourselves, your highness, since the palace guards prohibited us to bring up our materials before we meet you," the man in the team said, Caelias nodded.
"You're all excused," Caelias said with a smile. The three of them bowed.
"Thank you, your highness," they said as they made their way back to their carriage to fetch their stuff.
Caelias grabbed the sketchbook the woman was flipping through just now.
"Hm...she seems to have brought the sketchbook for the females," Caelias said as he kept flipping through the pages. Then suddenly he stopped on a page.
On the page was labeled
"Aderi...is this what Aderi is going to wear?" Caelias asked himself as he saw the sketch of a beautiful dark blue dress with gold elements on it.
"This dress would look so beautiful to Aderi, not that I thought about it...she never made her high society debut yet, that means we never celebrated her 18th birthday last year" Caelias spoke to himself.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door and Caelias hurriedly shut the sketchbook and put it on the couch again.
"We're sorry for the trouble your highness," the woman said as she was holding the right sketchbook this time.
The other woman and the man were holding a box as they entered.
"It's alright...shall we continue?" Caelias asked with a smile.

Wild Steam
Get on a train. Head east. Get on a ship. Travel further east, in style. See some wonders of the world. Find what was lost. Find where home is. How hard is any of that?Well, for Jake Ranger, pretty damned hard. The world being a wild, crazy mess from a global altering event called the Shattering doesn’t help much. Nor does being a famous folk hero. That last one really sucks, because people always run up to famous heroes and beg them for help with all their problems. Then there are the actual outlaws and monsters. They don’t help much either. Mostly they just get in the way and make everything way worse. And in a world that is so screwed up decades after the Shattering, there is a lot of variety to both outlaw and monster. Then there are the more civilized, (read: sane), non-human folk, and good old humans as well. They all get along just spectacularly. Totally best friends, on every level, for life. Of course getting to the east coast is only half the battle. Once there, he must contend with the so-called “civilized people.” Then there’s the ship ride; pirates and sea monsters are a thing too, after all. Should have read the brochure. But when the chips are down, the bad guys are winning and the wild winds of chaos are blowing, it helps to have a fighter on your side. Even if he is a little wild. After all, that’s not really a problem. That’s what beautiful women and lots of gold is for. Proper motivation is always key to success. Welcome to a Steampunk, Wild West, Victorian era, Lovecraftian infested, fantasy, shoot ‘em up world. Complete with a slow build harem of badass beautiful women, crazy adventures, and fun, monstrous villains. Welcome to the world of Wild Steam. Do enjoy your stay.
