"We where out shopping." I told him flatly.i didn't want to show any emotion, especially not the pain.

"Guys you need to listen to Addison, I think it's best if you all go." I did just want them gone.
"Harley, we need to take you to the den remember?"
"After everything that happened, you think I want to go to the den? You could've killed him!"
"Harley he was hurting you, you're my mate and I will protect you, always." I wanted to forgive him, what he did was for a reason which I understand but, I just couldn't. I fought with my thoughts until I gave in.
"Fine I'll go with you." I turned around and pulled Addison out with me. I could feel her shocked are bore into my face but I ignored her. The pack came out and made their way to the den and we followed behind at our own paste. None of the pack spoke to us but be and Addy spoke out in our normal voices unlike their whispers.
"So, one of us could be an alpha. What do you think it'll be like?"

"I don't know, but it'll be hard. Imagine trying to lead an entire pack, expectations to fill ya know. Sounds tough." She just shrugged and left it at that.
We eventually made it to the den. The entrance was a cave and as well walked in it was huge!

An instinct? I ran over to her helping her stay on her feet. "Wynter are you ok?" Why did I care? She soon was able to stop and stand on her feet.
