I feel like someone is banging on my head with a hammer, I moaned irritatedly and shouted,

"Please stop"

But that banging continues, I opened my eyes and realised that it's not my head it's the door of my room which is being banged by someone,

I groaned and stood up to open the door,

"Good morning Sissy", said Shiv,

"Arrrrr! Why are you disturbing my beauty sleep?", I asked irritatedly,

"Wake up sleepy head, and get ready soon, because now it's 8:00 AM and Karuna have strictly instructed that everyone should be present Infront of her before 9:00 AM", said Shiv,

"Hmmm!", I said while yawning and stretching my hands,

"I am going to get ready because I don't want to face her wrath", said shiv and went away,

Well I also don't want to encounter angry Karuna Di so, I took out my clothes and went towards the washroom,

Today there is Mehendi function and we all are going to apply henna on our hands,

So, to protect my dress, from getting messed up, by henna, I am wearing a sleeveless green colour crop top and black colour knee length Capri,

I got ready and rushed towards dinning area to have my breakfast, it's already 8:45 AM, I have to buck up,

I took a plate from the plate counter and picked up two sandwiches and eat them as fast as I can and then rushed towards the common elevator and pressed first floor button,

This resort have different entrances for each floor, but thank God! they also have a common elevator, by using which you can go on any floor, or else, I would have ended up in big trouble,

I went inside the hall and saw that everyone is already present and were doing their dance rehearsal,

I greeted the choreographers and started to practice my dance,

I have to perform a solo dance, a group dance with all my female cousin's and a couple dance with one of Raj jiju's friend but unfortunately his friend is stuck with some important work and will not be able to come here before the Sangeet ceremony,

Everyone became sad but I am happy because I don't want to dance with any stranger,

"But still they can perform", said a choreographer,

"How?", Everyone asked,

"Why?", I said sadly,

Everyone eyed me and I lowered my head to protect myself from their glares,

"They both can practice their steps separately and can perform together", said the choreographer,

"Good idea", said Raj jiju,

"But Jiju without rehearsing with him, how will I be able to perform?", I asked,

I just hope they will understand my point and will cancel this performance,

"They are professionals Kareena, if they are saying then they must have definitely thought about it, and there is no harm in trying", said Karuna Di,

"Okay", I said sadly,

I rehearsed my couple dance with many different different choreographers, so that I will not face any problem while performing with that stranger,

Though its a couple dance, still the steps are very comfortable, and it consist only touching the hands of your partner,

But the problem is that there is a lift, where my partner have to lift me up by holding my waist and will have to twirl for two times while I have to spread my arms in the air,

I am only worried about that part of our performance, what if, he is unable to lift me?, What if while lifting he looses his balance and we both fall down?, Only these types of thoughts are running inside my head,

I tried hard to convince the choreographers to change that step but they are not willing to do that and keep on consoling me that nothing bad will happen, so I gave up on convincing them and left everything on my fate,

After the rehearsals now it's time for Mehendi function,

There are almost 10 Mehendi artists present here who is going to apply henna on the hands of all the females,

I went towards one artist and offered her my left hand, she started making patterns with henna cone on my palm,

After few minutes she asked me,

"Mam do you want anyone's name to be written on your hand?",

I opened my mouth to say something when suddenly my mouth got blocked, as if someone inserted a ball inside my mouth,

"Nah! she is not married well not even engaged and she don't have any boyfriend", said shiv while pushing a Gulab Jamun inside my mouth,

"Wnaht nr nu uing", I tried to speak while chewing the Gulab Jamun,

"What?", Asked Shiv,

I shook my head and chewed the sweet as fast as possible and gulped them down my throat,

"I know you love Gulab Jamun, but there is no rush, you can eat it slowly, instead of eating like a pig", said Shiv,

I glared at him with my mouth open wide, how dare he called me a pig,

The moment I was going to shout on him, he again pushed a Gulab Jamun inside my mouth and ran away,

"Chhiiv ai til thil tu", I tried to say with my mouth filled with Gulab Jamun,

"First finish eating then speak", shouted Shiv and went out of the hall,

Urrrrr! I groaned and then notice that the artist is laughing on my cousin's behaviour,

"Ignore him", I said,

I gestured her to bring her ear close to me, she raised her eyebrow confusedly and came closer,

"Write the letter R and please hide it very nicely so that no one can see it, and please don't tell this to anyone", I wishpered on her ear,

She smiled and nodded her head in approval and continue to draw designs on my hand, while I blushed,

I am enjoying my time with my lovely wife when someone knocked on the door,

Me and Una both went inside and I opened the door,

"Bhai how can you be so careless, are you trying to take revenge from me, just because your wedding was less grand than me, how can you do this to me", said Riya,

"Hey! hold on, hold on drama queen, give a break to your drama and come to the point", I said,

"Why choreographers are still not here?", She asked angrily while folding her hands Infront of her chest,

I dab my forehead and said,

"Oh God! Only this is the matter for which you are behaving so dramatically?",

"It's not the only matter Bhai, it's a very big matter", said Riya and I chuckled,

"Then for your kind information they are on the way", I said,

"Good", said Riya and went away,

"I think I should also go with her", said Una and I nodded my head,

I then locked the room and went to check the other preparations,

I saw Kareena coming out of the elevator, her mood looks a little bit off, she took out her cell phone and called someone,

"Hello Di, I am on first floor where are you?", She asked,

I think it's Una with whom she is talking,

"Why that hall?", She murmured to herself,

"urrrrr!", She groaned irritatedly and went away,

What is wrong with her, her behaviour seems different today, I followed her to know the details,

The moment she entered the hall, she went towards Una and shiv and behaved normally with them,

Something is definitely wrong with this girl, I guess, it may be Rahul's absence, which is bothering her,

Wait! she said why that hall, and as far as I remember this one is the same hall where me and Rahul have came that night when cousin's party were held,

Did on that day something happened between them?, Only one person can give answer to this question,

I excused myself from there and came back to my room and dialled Rahul's number,

"Hello", said Rahul,

"Hey, why are you still in New York?", I asked,

"For business", said Rahul casually,

Then I asked him everything about that day and he confirmed me that they both have shared a romantic moment after we all left,

"Okay that's the reason of her change in behaviour", I said,

"What Change?", Asked Rahul,

"Man she really miss you, I suggest you to come back, and I think this wedding is your great opportunity, don't miss it", I suggested,

"Hmmm", he replied,

"I can only suggestion, implementing it is your task to perform", I said casually,

"Okay I am coming", said Rahul,

"When?", I asked,

"Whenever the first flight is available", said Rahul,

"Good, after two days there is Sangeet and I don't want to listen any of your excuses, you will have to perform", I said,

"But..", I cut him in between and said,

"No buts, that's final and I will send you the video of your steps, practice it", I said and hung up,

After Raj disconnected the call, I called my PA and asked him to book my ticket,

Even I also want to see her, I was just waiting for a chance and now I get that, thanks to Raj,

I know she is the one who is calling me daily and without saying anything she disconnects the call,

It's been five days and I get a call from this unknown number daily, Whenever I say hello the call get disconnected,

"Hello, I want the details of a number, it's an Indian number, I want it soon", I ordered my personal private investigator (PI) ,

"Okay sir", he said and hung up the call,

It's not like I order my PI, to find out the details of each number, whichever I get a call from, but I feel there is something fishy with this particular number,

I lied down on the bed, nowadays I am doing this only, lying on the bed and thinking about her, I only get up to do my workout and to eat my meal,

I can't compromise with my health because I want to live a happy and healthy life with her,

After half an hour later my cellphone started ringing, it's my PI,

"Hello",

"Hello sir I have mailed you all the details about that number", he said,

"Good", I said and disconnected the call,

I opened my mail and saw that the number is registered with someone named Hiralal Yadav,

I again dialled my PI's number and said,

"I want every details about this man along with the reason why he is calling me daily", I ordered,

"Okay sir, it will be done", he answered and disconnected the call,

Next day in the afternoon again my PI called,

"Hello", I said while receiving his call,

"Sir the owner of that number is a girl, this Hiralal Yadav is the owner of a shop and he had sold fraud Simcard to that lady", he informed,

"Okay! Did you get any information about that lady?", I asked,

"Yes sir, I have send you the CCTV footage of that shop when that simcard was issued, I would suggest you to have a look on it", he said,

"Okay", I said and hung up the call,

I opened my laptop and played the CCTV footage,

After watching her face a genuine smile appears on my face, so it's you, but I don't understand one thing why she always disconnect the call without saying anything, maybe she just want to listen my voice,

Suddenly my phone started ringing and it's her call,

I picked up the call and this time I didn't say anything, I remain silent,

I heard her breathing sound, and a tear escaped from my eyes,

"Hello", I said and she disconnected the call, as usual,

I started packing all my stuff and booked a cab for airport,

After 15 hours of long journey finally I landed in India,

I switched on my mobile and called Raj,

"Hello Raj, I reached", I said,

"What! so soon", he said shockingly,

"Yeah, any problem?", I asked,

"Huh! No, no, no problem", he answered hesitantly,

"What's the matter Raj?, Please Say clearly", I asked worriedly,

"Actually Sangeet ceremony is tomorrow, so, I wanted to surprise everyone by your sudden arrival", said Raj,

"Okay, then I will wait till tomorrow", I said casually while hiding my sadness,

I desperately wanted to go there right now and engulfed her in my arms tightly, how will I wait till tomorrow,

"Great, you are so sweet, listen to me carefully, your entry will be with your dance performance and you will be doing a couple dance with one of Riya's friend", said Raj,

"What! Couple dance but why?", I asked,

"Actually I had planned a solo dance for you but unfortunately Riya's friend partner got injured his leg during the rehearsal and now she is really very upset, and you know what when Kareena will see you dancing with some other girl, I am sure she will get jealous and confess her love for you instantly", said Raj,

"Okay but how will I perform without practicing with her", I asked,

"Don't worry I will send the choreographers, they are expert, they will teach you properly, just send me your address", said Raj,

After my Mehendi dried, I removed it, and came back to my room,

I took out my mobile and dialled Rahul's number,

"The number you are trying to call is switched off",

Why switch off, did he went to some other country?, Or it might be possible he came back to India, may be,

"Hey sissy what are you doing here, let's go dinner is ready and I am super hungry", said shiv barging inside my room,

"Like always, you bhukkad", I mocked him,

(Bhukkad = Hungry)

"And you are equally bhukkad just like me", he taunted,

"Okay, now let's go, I don't want to die because of starving", he said and pulled me with him,

After eating dinner I came back to my room and changed my clothes,

I took out Rahul's frame and holding it tight I fall asleep,

Today I woke up early and get ready,

After having my breakfast I went on the first floor towards the rehearsal area,

I saw that everyone is doing there last minute practice,

I also join them and practice all my steps,

After enough practice our choreographers wished us all the best and leave,

We all eat our lunch and went towards our room to get ready for the Sangeet ceremony,

For Sangeet ceremony I am going to wear a beautiful and classic rose brown colour gown.

I change my dress and applied some makeup like eyeliner, lipstick, eyeshadow, etc,

I wore silver colour accessories to enhance my look even more,

After satisfied with my work I gave a final look to myself and went out of the room,

"Are waah Kareena beta, you are looking like an angel", complimented my Masi who is also shiv's mother,

"Thank you Masi and you are looking gorgeous", I also complemented her and she blushed,

She is wearing a black colour Saree,

Then I went towards the hall where Sangeet ceremony is going to be held,

I saw Karuna Di, she is wearing an elegant blue colour salwar suit,

"Oh waoo Kareena!, you are looking fabulous", said Di,

"Thank you Di, but I wonder how Raj Jiju resist himself after watching you, you are looking breathe taking", I said and she blushed,

One by one I met everyone, they all praised me and I also complemented them back,

Last but not the least, here comes the bride, she is looking just waoo in her red gown,

Professional anchors were hired to conduct the whole program,

They welcomed everyone then make announcement for the first performance, which is performed by the kids on the song:-

I enjoyed all the performance then came the turn of my solo performance,

I hoped up on the stage and grabbed the mic from the anchor,

"Karan this song is a warning for you, after your marriage you are going to face this situation allot", I said and started my dance,
