《The Life of a Wizard》Overcompensating

What the hell James!?" I yell.
James gives me a perplexed look. "What?"
"I told you to bring one ship with you, right?"
"Yes? And I did just that." James replied.
"Okay, but why did you bring that one!?" I exclaim pointing at the ship outside my office.
"What's wrong with it?"
"'What's wrong'? James, that ship is as big as Vale itself. For crying out loud, that thing looks like it could destroy a kingdom in an hour." I exclaimed.
"Three and a half actually." James corrected.
"I don't give a shit, James! Get that shit out of my house!" I yelled.
Winter takes a step forward. "Sir, please. General Ironwood only has the best intentions for humanity in mind."
"Not now, Winter. Can't you see the adults are talking!?"
Winter's dumbstruck by the headmaster's attitude. "E-Excuse me!?"
"You are excused."
James slams his hands on my desk. "Ozpin, this is ridiculous! Besides, the council has put me in charge of security here so I'm not going anywhere."
"Then I'll march up to their offices and shove my cane up their asses!" I yelled.
A crow flies in through a window and transforms into Qrow. "Hey I'm back and saw that big thing in the sky. What did I miss?"
"See for yourself." Glynda points at two headmasters arguing about James big ship.
"Hm." Qrow takes a swig of his flask. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say Jimmy is overcompensating."
Glynda furrows her eyebrows. "Don't be ridiculous. James is not that juvenile."
"That's not what I'm seeing." Qrow told her.
Glynda just sighs as she feels a headache coming and takes her leave before it gets worse. 'I wonder how Siegfried is doing.'
I let out a sigh. "Whatever, I've struck a deal with Roman Torchwick. He'll be our eyes and ears on Cinder's little club for a while. They've already infiltrated the academy as students from Mistral."
"So what's the plan, Oz?" Qrow asked.
I take the Gendo Pose. "Let them think they have the upper hand like before. If they want to hit us hard, they'll need to hack the CCT first which can only be done through my office." I turn to my monitor and type something. "And when she tries, she'll be in for a surprise." I had an evil grin on my face. "Heheheh..."

Qrow leans towards James. "Does Oz look a little... evil to you?"
"You're not seeing things Qrow." James said.
The dance is at full swing with the students (and some teachers) dancing, drinking, talking, and making out. Glynda, James, and I along with a few professors watch them from the sidelines. I can see Jaune with a black tuxedo with a yellow best dancing with Pyrrha who's wearing a red dress. They seem to be having a pleasant time together.
That is until Yang barges in from seemingly nowhere and tries to have her way with Jaune which made Pyrrha extremely angry. The two girls start fighting and they notice Velvet approach Jaune and spirit him away, all the while giving the two girl a cocky smirk.
Meanwhile, Ruby has this constipated look on her face as she watches on from a distance.
I am one hell of a matchmaker.
"Master."
"What's up, Siegfried?" I asked.
"The two accomplices that you told me are on their way now, without their leader." Siegfried states.
"Good." I said.
"Is it time yet?" Glynda asked.
Just then, Emerald and Mercury appear without Cinder as expected.
"Showtime." I tap my cane and vanish in emerald light.
This is just too easy.
I easily infiltrated the CCT tower without much effort, the guards "guarding" the entrance were pretty pathetic to look at; a simple tap in the back of the head was all it took.
The general's drones would have made a better challenge.
I walk up to the elevator and hit up button.
The elevator stops and doors open to the headmaster's office. I take out the Scroll with Watt's virus. He's insufferable but at least he has his use from time to time.
I plug it into a nearby port and the download begins.
"All too easy." Soon, victory will be mine.
"What!?" I exclaim.
"What do you think of my little buddy? I had him set up in case some dumbass tries to hack my computer."
I turn around to see none other Ozpin standing behind me. "Ozpin!?"
"Were you expecting someone else?" Ozpin asked.

"But how-!?"
"Plot. But seriously, did you actually think I was going to let you out of here alive?" Ozpin asked.
I stare at him before a smirk forms on her face. "No... I suppose not." Two glass scimitars appear in my hands. "I'll end your life here tonight."
"I'll take that bet. Now... hit me with your best shot!"
I charge in for an attack, but the bastard blocks it with his cane and then kicks me in the stomach. He wastes no time and sends a series of jabs that drain my aura faster then I realize.
"You've activated my trap card." I snap my fingers.
"Wait, what-" One of the gears from the ceiling falls mere inches from my head as it hits the floor with a loud thud. I didn't have time to react as Ozpin rushes in, his face sporting a large grin as he punches me in the gut with inhuman strength enough to destroy my Aura and leaving me defenseless.
All of the air in my lungs is thrown out as I begin to choke from the lack of oxygen and the incredible pain I've been inflicted.
"Pathetic. You think that just because you have a powerful Semblance, a clever mind, and a ragtag group of misfits following you around makes you powerful, right?" Ozpin laughs. "Please, you're just a kid playing villain... complete with spandex."
"You dare..." I was at my limit. This senile old fool thinks he can mock me. ME!? "YOU FUCKING DARE!!!!" I let the power of the Fall Maiden loose. "When I'm done with you, I'm going to get the rest of the Fall Maiden power and THEN I'm going to hunt down every single student in this academy and burn them at the stake!"
Ozpin stays frozen in place, likely frozen in awe and fear of my power.
"Pffft..."
What?
"Oh god, could you be any more edgy? As if the name 'Cinder Fall' wasn't enough for you." Ozpin chuckles.
"Why!? Why aren't you afraid of me!? I took down the previous Fall Maiden, I am the strongest in all of Remnant!" I exclaimed.
"Please, you must be naïve to believe that. So what if you manage to beat one Maiden? In case you didn't know, there are three other Maidens out there who are older and more experienced than you. You really think you have the strength to beat them all and take their magic?" Ozpin asked.
"It is my destiny!" I yelled.
"No. You're destiny starts right... now!" Ozpin exclaimed.
I suddenly feel something colliding with me and it sends me forward right in front of Ozpin and he pins me to the floor with his cane. I look up only to be startled by Amber coming out of shadows.
"Remember me? Yeah, you do." Amber said with venom in her voice.
"Impossible, you should be crippled!" I yelled.
"I fixed her up, good as new." Ozpin kneels and raises his hand. "And now for the finale."
I scream as I feel a force ripping my soul in half. I try to fight it, to resist it but its too strong. "What are you doing!?"
Ozpin puts his hand out and Amber takes it and yellow aura begins to envelope her. NO!
"What have you done!?"
Ozpin stands up. "Giving the power back to where it belongs (for now at least)."
"You bastard! That power is mine! I deserve it!" I yelled.
"Shshshsh... do you hear that?" Ozpin asked.
"What?" I snarl.
"Ugh, professor!" Amber recoils in disgust.
Suddenly, a burst of rose petals litter the office and red whirl turns into a girl.
"Hands up! You're under... arrest...?"
"Ah. Ms. Rose. A little late to the party and must you make such a mess?" Ozpin asked. "Could you call the general for me? Tell him the pest problem has been dealt with."
"Fuck..." I cursed.

Old synopsis "Hi, my name is Alexis," I say into the camera, as I attempt to calm my nerves."And I'm Sab," I hear my best friend add from beside me. It's good to have her there, it's been far too long."I'm trying to focus," I tell Sab as I look into the camera. Will anyone even watch this?"What, just cause I didn't get sent to another world, where magic and dragons are real, I don't get to be a part of this?" she questions me. I can hear the hurt in her voice. I wish she'd been there. Things might have been... different. I can't believe I thought it was a game. If it had been, she'd have been the better choice."I said I was sorry. It's not like I knew I was going to be kidnapped by the system," I lamely apologize. She deserves more, but this is important."Coming soon, to an earth near you," she might be making light, but I can hear the fear in her voice."It's not funny Sab. It really is coming," I can't help but reply to her words, even though I know she didn't mean it."Come on Lexi, it's a little funny." she tries while chuckling nervously."Sigh. Look, can we just get back to telling them?" I ask, pointing at the laptop."Sure, but first you should show them some magic," Sab declares while waving her arms around."I told you. It's not that simple. I only showed you because you could tell it wasn't fake. They'd just think it was special effects," or come after me to try to lock me in a basement."Yeah, well they're not going to believe you anyway. It sounds pretty crazy, even to me. And I've seen what you can do," she proclaims. I didn't think it was that special, but she was super impressed by my magical abilities."Maybe, but I have to try. We don't have much time," I state as I stop the recording, before starting a new one."Hello, my name is Alexis," I pronounce, projecting as much confidence as I can at the little camera."Remember, the world ends on a Tuesday."
