'Aren't you afraid of my darkness, my dear?' Hades asked with mischief in his eyes.
'No', Persephone replied, 'You haven't seen mine yet, I was raised by someone that lives for the war and baths on her enemy's blood'
———
The sound of the chains colliding filled the tense silence, the clank coming from the ginger goddess who had an emotionless expression on her face as she finished putting the chains around her ankles and left arm, before her red orbs met the ones of her uncle and she nodded.
Persephone was looking at Hades and Ares apprehensively as the god of the dead finished putting the last chain that left the goddess of war's movements completely restricted.
"Are you sure this is a good idea, Bunny?" Persephone asked quietly, smoothing down her long black dress that was decorated by delicate white flowers as she paced around.
Her chocolate orbs connected with Hades', but he too showed hesitation when looking at his oldest niece, making Ares roll her blood irises with a teasing smirk on her face.
"Yes, angel... come on now. It's not even you two that will have to feel it, I don't know why you're so hesitant" Ares complained, pulling her arms with her full strength to test the durability of the chains, only for it to tighten around her wrists, making a hiss leave her lips.
"Yep, my chains work" The goddess muttered, noticing how her wounds weren't healing, before she nodded at Hades.
The god of the underworld heaved a sigh, turning to look at his distressed queen with a soft smile, kissing her forehead tenderly.
"Why don't you wait for us in the castle, my flower?" Hades suggested, but Persephone stubbornly shook her head and stood her ground.
"I'm staying with Bunny" her head was high, daring the god to argue with her, making Ares bit her lip to stop the laughter forming on her throat as Hades sighed tiredly and nodded.

"Fine, fine!" The man grumbled exasperated, taking the lightning in his rough hands as he gave his niece a last long look, seeing her nodding her head mutely as she took a long breath.
"This is gonna hurt" Hades muttered, looking down at the lightning in his hands before he pointed it at the redhead, who was giving him a glare.
"You don't say-" Ares started, but her sentence died as an agonizing scream left her lips, the power of the lightning burning her skin as her power fought against the attack, only to be absorbed by the chains.
Her eyes blinded as a white light covered her body, her legs were hard, not moving, her body was frozen on its place, clenching her jaw so tight that it looked like it was about to snap.
Persephone's eyes were watery as she looked away from the person that had always been there for her, her screams were too much for the goddess, which was surprising considering how she had grown used to the screams of the tortured souls.
Ares was the one who would always clash with Zeus when it came to Persephone, the God always thought of the brunette beauty as a toy that should do whatever he wanted, but Ares would always help her out, since she was only a small kid, going as far as being punished for raising a fight against the king of the Gods whenever he went too far and Hades wasn't around.
Persephone was the only person, or rather goddess, in the entire planet that could call Ares her Bunny and continue alive, while Ares and Aphrodite were as close as they could be, the goddess of war knew that her little sister feared her sometimes.
Persephone was the first one to actually accept her, not only her protective side, but her bloodlust and darkness, she never judged, she felt protected, even comforted by her darkness.

Even Hades seemed to be conflicted into stopping this nonsense and going on with the plan, it didn't look so bad when she first told him about it, after all she had been tortured by Zeus with his powers since she was just a child, the god thought that it wasn't that painful if she insisted in doing it again.
The thing is, no one was allowed in the same room as them when Zeus would... discipline her, no one could listen to her screams for help or see her terrified tears when she was no older than 6 as he used his powers on her, no one could notice how each time she entered the damned room, she would come back quieter, her bright green eyes darker, no one would clean her wounds, no one would ask if she was okay, no one ever came to help her.
Ares tried to control her rapid breathing, biting her lower lip so hard that blood started to flow down her chin as she muted her screams.
Her pain turned into power, eyes hardening as her body grew used to the harshness of the lightning. The souls that roamed near them started to scream, her negative energy being too much for them as they disintegrated.
Hades looked mesmerized by how much hatred she was emitting, he stopped sending the electric waves at her, giving her a moment to breath as Persephone immediately run to her side, opening the chains.
Ares' legs gave out and she started to fall, but the brunette quickly put her shaking arm around her shoulder while Hades went to the other side and they started to carry her to the castle.
"15 seconds... if we keep doing this, I believe I can reduce the time for me to grow used to the pain" Ares said hoarsely, trying to walk with them when a sudden pain rose on her body, making her scream as she fell to the ground, shaking at the amount of power that started to flow back to her body.
But it's still not enough, 15 seconds frozen in a battle will get me killed... If I can reduce it for 3 seconds... it'll be enough time for me to finish him... once and for all... we would be free of that monster
I need to get him close, he's too powerful, the only way for me to win is if I get him close enough... but even my powers won't help me if I get paralyzed by his lightning...
"Your human form will be destroyed if we keep doing this, Bunny! You can't!" Persephone cried in disbelief, noticing the dark veins growing up her arms and legs.
"Then be it, I'll do whatever it takes to get rid of him" The goddess spat venomously, looking away from Persephone's pleading eyes, before she teleported to her kingdom.

Storm of the Elementals
The apocalypse was something that people were expecting to happen sooner or later, rising sea levels and everything. What our protagonist didn't expect was it to be from a system, let alone the fact that he missed it. Waking up as an elemental and being given frighteningly little info from a system that seemed a little off , stuck with 3 other eccentric individuals that he could almost swear are a bit dodgy, and not being quite sure he was human anymore, it was the start of a long day. It only got longer when he found out he was moved to a whole different world. ~ This is a slow burn story, focusing on the world and what happens if an eccentric historian gets transported in a world with systems and power that are not quite meant for him. ~ Some things you can expect: -No harem, god no. -Yes the protagonist is strong, no he isn't completely OP. -Other people who have been changed, he isn't the only special or chosen one who got transported or messed with. -It is sad to actually have to put this here, but the main character does shockingly have common sense.

The book of forever
An experimental diary of sorts recounting my life and experiences, written as a slightly whimsical scifi story about setting off from the past to unknown lands, rebuilding from nothing and finding myself again. The first section of the book contains matched chapters, a chapter for a interlude, both happening at the same time roughly The second section of the book contains more one off stories as we follow one of the travelers explore their heart as well as a unknown land, growing in the process. All of the text here was written in 10 syllable chunks, this reads like a epic of sorts, just with more philosophical focus and POV jumps. Hope you enjoy! >Updates may be sporadic as I only write when I have something about myself I want to share The chapters can all be read individually, although there may be some crossovers between them they work as single poems. You start at whatever chapter you want since these are a collection of roughly connected poems (although you'll notice tie ins and references to eachother)
