*Ari's POV*
Waking up in a white room with different kinds of machines with tubes attached to you isn't exactly the best thing ever. My head was pounding badly.
I was probably in a hospital. Well duh, obviously dumbo. The voice in my head said. Yeah, yeah, whatever.
"You're awake." my eyes slowly trailed where the voice was and saw my handsome boyfriend, shuffling his way to me. He looked like a mess. a hot mess.
There were black bags under his eyes, his hair was messy, which by the way looks hot on him. and he looked like he hasn't been eating for days.
Speaking of days.. how long was I out?!
"Hey, yeah.. how long was I out?" I asked, trying to move but a pain started to shoot in my body which made me groan in pain.
"Hey, hey, don't move too much. are you okay?" He asked worriedly, helping me lay down in a more comfortable position.
I just nodded my head and smiled weakly. "You were out for about three days. The doctor thought you were going to have a coma."
I sighed in relief and thanked the Lord for waking me up. but really? three days? wow.
"Oh, then I'll be like the sleeping beauty?" I chuckled softly, trying to lighten the mood.
"The best sleeping beauty ever. but I prefer the waking beauty." He replied and we both chuckled.
A moment of silence passed by; not an awkward silence, but a comfortable one.
All the memories of what had happened in the past three days gave me chills. I could have died if Cato didn't come save me. Chanelle would have shot Cato. He risked his for me. I couldn't be more happy that I met this guy. The love of my life.

"Thank you for saving me. You save me all the time. Like you're my knight in shining armour." I whispered, a smile playing on my lips.
"Because it's my job to protect you. You're my princess. I will always save you." He said, kissing my forehead.
I couldn't help the tears that was starting to form in my eyes. This guy. My bully before, the person who saved me from suiciding, my hero, has always been there for me. Words can't describe how lucky I am to meet him. I love him to death.
"Why are you crying?" He frowned, wiping the tear that escaped.
"I-I'm just so grateful to have someone like you." I cried more and tears fell like a tiny river.
He hugged me tightly, but careful not to hurt my injuries. He whispered, "I'm more than grateful having a girlfriend like you. No matter what happens, I will never let you go. I will love you til' I die. and protect you even if it means my life will be in danger. I don't care. as long as you're safe. I love you so damn much, Ari. You will be the death of me."
Hearing those words from him, made me cry in joy. and with that, he cupped my face and kissed me with so much love and passion. This wasn't like our other kisses. This felt extremely special.
We both pulled away, his forehead leaning on mine, both of us were looking deeply into each other's eyes with so much love and compassion.
"I love you so much, don't you ever forget that." He said, smiling and pecked my lips.
"I love you so much too. Words can't explain." I replied, smiling.
Both of us spent our time in the hospital while I was on the process of completely healing up. I love this guy too much, that I think it will be illegal.

*Eight months later*
"She's going to be in jail for a lifetime." Cato said, walking in my room.
"Who?" I asked, confused.
"Chanelle. Looks like she had some mental illness. The police have been searching for her, for over a year. She had a record, a bad record there. Turns out she had plastic surgery and changed her identity, everything; so the police won't track her down."
I was stunned for a few seconds, I just...whoa, man.
"Whoa.." I said, out of words.
I was ecstatic to hear how Chanelle was locked up somewhere far away from here for a life time.
but there could be a possibility that she could escape.

Romance - plus Judgemental Powers? Completed
Blue was a red headed boy who desperately wanted a girlfriend. So he asked the class beauty to walk home with him. She very nicely refused him. So he asked another girl in the same class, one with an average rating in the social status ranking. She also refused him. So, still desperate, he thinks – “I’m probably at the bottom of the ranking for boys in this class, so how about I ask the girl who is also at the lowest ranking?” The girl’s name was Pink. She said yes. Gulp. “What do I do now?” was his reaction. Well, obviously, have a romance. And, along the way, they get one hell of a lot more than they bargained for. Like, for example, supernatural Judgemental Powers. How did they get those? And that was only the start. The two most insignificant students in their class become famous. Not just in their class or even in their school, but to the population at large. They end up breaking and making the top politicians and rulers of their country. But finally, of course, they get what they wanted. A committed relationship. This is an Esmeralda the Angel of Death story. It follows on from my previous novel “Maybe it would have been a good idea not to wish for a harem?”, however it is a totally separate story with only a minimal overlap in the characters. There is no need to read the first story to enjoy this one. Although you just might enjoy the first story also… This story has multiple characters and multiple Points of View. Every POV change is clearly marked with a new header. Inside each POV section, the POV character’s thoughts are in italics. This story has about 105,000 words (about 380 RoyalRoad pages). It is fully written and proof read (the poor man’s proof read using Word). It has 25 chapters, and will be published at the rate of roughly one chapter per day.
