More murders kept appearing all around town and you and Jed finally came to the conclusion that there was another killer on the loose, one besides Ghostface
Right now you were sitting at your desk in your office waiting for Jed to come back, he'd gone to go turn in some papers and get you two coffee since it was early in the morning
Last night you could barely rest, the fear of yet another killer on the loose shook you to your core, and you could barely escape your fear before you fell asleep
Though maybe it wasn't all that bad, you heard a new employee was going to come in today, you wondered what spot your boss would give them
"Y/n I'm back~" Jed announced playfully as he walked Into your shared office and placed the coffee he brought on the desk
"Hey," you said, giving him a half-smile and tiredly reaching for the cup of coffee he placed down on the desk
"You sound like shit" he exclaimed
"You look like shit" you retorted
"Rude much?" he laughed as he sat down at his computer
"You love it"
"Maybe, anyways guess what happened on my way over here," he said and turned to look at you, a grin covering his face
"What?"
"I ran into that new employee, he seems okay, asked me for directions to Daniel's office" he said and faced his attention back on his computer screen
"Really? Did you catch his name?"
"Ryan"
"Hm, what spot do you think Daniel with give him?" You asked and took a sip of your coffee
"I don't know, actually wanna make a bet?" Jed smiled and looked back in your direction
"Depends" you say narrowing your eyes at him
"Well, I bet that with all these new murders going on Daniel will probably assign this new guy to the new murder cases," Jed said while picking up a pen and spinning it in his fingers

"I doubt it, he's new there's no way Daniel would assign someone new, to murder cases on their first day," you said crossing your arms
"He did with me," Jed said, a smirk crossing his face
"That's different"
"How so?"
"Jed! Y/n! I would like you to meet someone new" Daniel said while busting through the door
Both you and Jed turn your heads to him both noticing someone standing right beside him
"This is Ryan, he's going to be working on the new murders cases going on around town, the ones that aren't Ghostface related"
You immediately turn your head back to Jed, thinking there's no fucking way he called that
though you can't help but notice that he's
looking at Daniel like he just said something that really pissed him off
"That's great!" Jed says and smiles at the two his whole demeanor changing in an instant
You then turn your head back to Daniel and Ryan this time taking in Ryans' appearance
He has Light brown hair with blue eyes as for his clothes he's dressed in a white button-down
Black pants and a black coat
You had to admit he kinda dressed like Jed in a way, as you were taking in his appearance you accidentally locked eyes with him
He smiled at you and gave a wave, you let out an awkward laugh and smiled back
Your laugh slightly caught Jed's attention his eyes flickering back to you in an instant
though they soon landed back on daniel in a short matter of time
"So will he be working in our office too?" Jed questions, turning his head back to his computer screen seemingly uninterested
"Well no, Ryan is going to get his own office plus it's really small in here for 3 people, and now that we're on that subject, I need to show Ryan where his office is so please excuse us," Daniel says and motions Ryan to follow him

Ryan follows but gives you both a smile and a wave before heading out with Daniel
"There's no fucking way you called that on your own" you start, turning your body to Jed who was now smirking at you
"Well I did so now about that bet we made"
"Ah yes, the one I never agreed to?"
"Haw you're no fun"
"Whatever"
"It's okay Daniel told me beforehand that's how I knew, just not about the whole meeting each other part, anyways, I just wanted to trick you into giving me what I wanted" Jed admitted, laughing at you
"Asshole, what did you want anyway?" you asked
"A kiss"
"Just a kiss?"
"Maybe"
You thought for a moment then came up with an idea slowly getting up and walking over to Jed
He looked up at you from his chair, you slowly cupped his face and leaned down, as your lips were about to meet his, you let go of his face and walked back to your desk
He sat there for a bit shocked
"I'm so going to get you back for that Y/n" he began, running his fingers through his hair
