《Conversations with a ghost (Ghostface x reader)》Chapter 11

You woke up early in the day and groaned, last night you didn't get any sleep
You found yourself worrying if Jed even wanted to talk to you again making you shift uncomfortably
You didn't want to ruin anything between you two, you liked Jed a lot
Maybe it was too sudden? No, he didn't seem bothered by it... Right?
You ran your hand threw your hair and sighed
Getting up and walking to your bathroom and taking a quick shower
Once you got out you dried off and decided to check your phone
You want to grab it but then remembered you didn't bring it with you
"Damn," you thought and got changed and walked out of your bathroom and back into your bedroom to search for your phone
You found it resting on your nightstand and checked it
FUCK" you yelled, you had just missed a phone call from Jed, you quietly cursed to yourself as you called him back
"Y/n?" Jed spoke from the other end
"Jed! I'm sorry for not answering I was in the shower" you explained to him
"Ah it's okay, hey so I was thinking could I go over later?" he said nervously
"Yes, of course, is something the matter?" you asked him, normally Jed was never nervous
"Great um ill be there at 12, okay I have to go now Y/n goodbye," he said and hung up on you before you had the chance to answer
"Bye," you said quietly after he hung up
Nervousness completely took you over after that and you checked the time again
10:30 AM
"Great" you sighed
Shit" Danny sighed and put the phone down beside him, he kept pushing down those butterflies still but they kept getting worse
He felt sick and hoped it would pass as quickly as it came
He quickly stood up from his chair and walked to his study room
As he walked in he ran a hand threw his hair and sat down in the chair next to his desk
Newspapers and articles about Ghostface covered his desk and the walls, some pictures of previous victims also hung on the walls
He opened his desk drawer and pick up his journal, he used his journal to write down everything about his victims, their habits, hobbies, jobs, anything really

He figured he'd look threw it while he waited for the time to pass, but as he did he couldn't help but feel the slightest bit of blood lust slip
Away from him
Maybe tonight he'd kill again just to relieve some stress
It was now 12, and you were watching movies and laying on your couch
You were so caught up in your movie that you didn't remember to check the time, it wasn't until you paused your movie that it showed you the time and you began to freak out again
"Shit I forgot," you said to yourself and checked your phone, to your surprise there was no message from Jed yet
"Maybe he forgot-" your phone vibrated and there showed a message from Jed
Hey I just got here, I'm outside
Okay going
You got up off the couch and walked over to the door and opened it, there stood Jed looking at his phone
"Hey I was just about to text you again" he spoke
"You know you could've just knocked right?"
"Where the fun in that?"
"Whatever you say, dummy," you said as you moved out of the way for him to step inside
"Giving me pet names now are we?" he teased and stepped inside
"You wish" you laughed and closed the door and looked at him
He turned towards you and your eyes locked with each other, for a bit until you looked away
From him
"Y/n," he said and slowly walked towards you,
He then pulled you into a hug
"I'm so sorry for not talking to you after what happened, I was just so nervous to the point I just couldn't," he said softly as he ran his fingers threw your hair
"No, I'm sorry Jed I came on too strong and I didn't think about how you would've felt about it or about how it would affect our relationship" you explained and buried your face in his chest and hugged him tighter
"Y/n, look at me."
You lifted your head to look up at him and he cups your face and runs his thumb over your cheek
"I missed you Y/n," he said and leaned down to kiss you
You kissed him back and wrapped your arms around his neck, you felt your eyes water you had missed him so much and thought you had ruined everything that you had completely given up hope

He kissed you more roughly now, he slowly ran his hand down from your waist to the back of your thigh and tapped it, signaling for you to jump
You obliged he had caught you and you wrapped your legs around his waist as he carried you over to the couch still roughly kissing you
You broke the kiss and Jed dropped you onto the couch and climbed on top of you
You turned your head the other way to blink away some tears but some fell anyways, Jed cupped for face again and made you look at him, he then swiped his thumb across your face
Brushing away any tears that had fallen
He intertwined your hands and kissed you again this time more passionately
You ran your freehand threw his hair and tugged a bit, Jed groaned and slid one of his hands down to your thigh and squeezed it
You let out a whimper and your body began feeling hot, Jed then let go of your interlocked hand
He then broke away from the kiss and moved down towards your neck
He kissed your neck and slowly made his way to your collarbone and softly bit down on it
Causing you to let out a moan
You tugged at his shirt and began to fiddle with the buttons undoing them and tugging the shirt off of him
He began to suck on your neck a little harder now he then slid a hand underneath your shirt and dug his nails into your skin
"Fuck" you moaned, Jed let out a small chuckle and tugged at your shirt
You took the hint and slowly took it off and Jed was back on you right after
he brought you into a kiss again as he began to play with your hair pulling it roughly
You tried to pull his hair again but he quickly grabbed your wrists and pinned them above your head
Your heart began to race and butterflies soon filled your stomach
Jed began to suck and bite down on your neck and slowly made his way down to your chest and slid his free hand back down between your thighs rubbing the inside of them
You let out a shaky moan as he worked on you
he soon began to get a bit rougher
You were about to wrap your legs around his waist until you heard your phone ring
You both snapped out of your trace and Jed got off you and grabbed your phone for you
"I think it's for you" he chuckled as he handed it to you
"No shit" you laughed and slightly blushed, as you picked up the phone Jed let his eyes wander down towards your neck and then your chest, his eyes darting to every hickey or bite mark that was left on your skin
If that stupid phone didn't ring he could've had you all to himself he quietly cursed but soon got an idea
As you were talking on the phone Jed pulled you onto his lap and softly bit down on your ear
"Y-yes I understand" you spoke on the phone, it was your boss there had been another murder but it wasn't identified if it was Ghostface yet
"But if it is ill send you an email about it and you should have it out in like 2 days okay?" Daniel said
Jed stroked a hand between your thighs again he then took his other hand and grabbed your throat slightly squeezing it
You let out a low moan holding the phone away from you hoping your boss didn't hear
"Okay," you said and let out a shaky breath
"Okay, um also is everything alright?" Daniel asked slightly concerned
This time Jed undid one of the buttons on your pants and let out a slight moan near your ear
"You looked so pretty under me early Y/n" Jed whispered in your other ear
You began to shift in his lap causing him to let out a low groan
"Yes everything is okay" you spoke, butterflies taking over your stomach again
"Okay goodbye"
"Goodbye"
You turned towards Jed who now was smiling at you like nothing just happened
"Prick," you said and Jed laughed
You stood up from his lap and went to go grab your shirt
Jed caught your wrist before you could though
"Yeah no I like you without your shirt on," he says and pulls you onto him again
"Whatever you say loser," you respond and wrap your arms around him resting your head on his shoulder

8 70The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y
8 84The Sorcerer's Apprentice
A world where magic must be hidden from mankind is a world where mages have no reason to exist. Zara was one of them--a young woman forced to spend her days in confinement, to lessen the risks of outsiders discovering the truth. She was not human. She was, as they say, a living embodiment of a thousand year old curse upon the Kingdom and humanity as a whole. And the only way to handle a curse is to get rid of it--which is precisely what the Kingdom had been doing for centuries--eliminating any being that contained even an ounce of enchanted blood. Zara has lived most of her life with the threat of death hanging over her head, though it never averted her heightening curiosity about magic, nor the abilities innate within her. And when a powerful, enigmatic Sorcerer comes to her with a proposition, Zara finally sees her chance to embrace the curse she was born with. It was a chance laced with precarity and destruction, but a chance nonetheless...
