The day was finally here…August 16th.

I woke up to the sound of Soph mumbling ‘muma muma’ to herself through the baby monitor. I glanced at the clock on my beside unit, checking the time 6.15am, before throwing on my summer dressing gown and heading down the landing to Soph’s bedroom.

“Morning little lady” I smiled at her as a huge grin appeared on her face and her arms reached up to me. I had the biggest butterflies in my stomach knowing today was going to be the happiest day of my life but I wasn’t nervous, I was too excited to be nervous.

I sat Sophia in her high chair before feeding her her breakfast then had some myself. Taking her up to the bathroom I ran a bath for her, adding a few bubbles which she loved playing with. I carried her into her room to strip her off before hearing someone wandering down the landing.

“Evie you up?” I ask then hear the bedroom door open.

“Morning Mrs Sutton.” She grinned holding Thomas on her hip.

“Morning.” I replied grinning, before throwing Soph’s PJ’s into her washing basket. “I’m about to give Soph a bath if you want to pop TJ in as well?”

“Yea okay, I’ll feed him after.” She smiled before stripping him off.

Watching the kids in the bath was so funny; their faces were a picture when the bubbles would pop in their mouths as they tried time and time again to eat them. I stood there talking with Evie about what was going to happen today whilst sipping on a brew. She was surprised with how calm and relaxed I was. And to be fair…so was I…but what did I need to be nervous about? I was about to marry the boy of my dreams, who I knew loved everything about me as I did him. He was my happy ever after and I couldn’t wait for our lives to begin as the Sutton’s.

I watched as Soph lifted her hand up to me which was covered in bubbles smiling, she did love them. “Bubbles.” I say smiling at her “Bubbles”

“Bub bub bub…” she mumbled back to me making me laugh.

“Shall we get them out and changed into something comfy whilst we start getting everything ready?” Evie asked

“Yea…I’m gona jump in the shower now so I’ll be ready for when everyone gets here to get ready. You okay to watch Soph?”

“Course , now get your pretty butt in the shower.”

The next half an hour I washed and shaved, making myself immaculate for later. I came out the shower, wrapping a towel around my body and head before going into the bedroom.

I moisturised my body before slipping on my very special wedding underwear. Taking my hair out of the towel I combed and dried it before putting it up into a scruffy bun. Evie had sorted out for me and all the girls to have matching tracksuit outfits for the wedding like I had done for hers. So I put on my grey bottoms and matching grey jacket that had Liv’s Wedding Party on the back. I didn’t bother putting on a vest as I wouldn’t be able to get it off later without ruining my hair.

Heading downstairs I found Evie on the carpet with the kids and Paige, Megan, Erin, Katy and Ruby sat on the sofa’s in their outfits, matching mine. Evie ran upstairs for her shower whilst me and the girls occupied the children.

“So you excited ?” Erin asked and I nodded passing Soph a blue brick so she could carry on building her tower.

“I can’t wait.”

“You’re much calmer than Evie.” Megan laughed

“Well to be fair she’d had a stressful night before trying to sort out her reception, plus she was pregnant.”

“Ahh I guess” Katy replied

“Speaking of being pregnant…” Katy grinned placing her hand on her stomach.

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH CONGRATULATIONS” we all screamed at once jumping up to hug her and congratulate her. But all the commotion caused TJ and Soph to start crying. After pulling away from hugging her I picked up Soph as Ruby got TJ cuddling them.

The rest of the morning flew by, the wedding was at one and it was now half eleven. We were just finishing off at the hair dressers, making sure we all had out hair and make-up immaculate. I had my hair in loose curls with the front being pinned back and up into a boof-on. My make-up a little heavier than normal but nothing too excessive. I looked perfect.

The weather today was perfect, it was warm and sunny, not too hot so we were melting and thank the lord it wasn’t raining. Soon enough we were back at the house having a quick glass of champagne before we all went to get changed. I took Soph upstairs with me and sat on the bed giving her a bottle. It was calming me down, the nerves had begun to kick in a little bit as time slowly ticked down.

“Liv you read to get into your dress?” Evie asked walking in already in her bridesmaid dress as I finished burping Soph.

“Yea.” I grinned, l sat Soph on my bed by the pillows as I grabbed my dress. Heading into the bathroom I took off my tracksuit before very carefully stepping into my dress and doing it up. Standing in front of the mirror I smoothed it down and walked out.

“You look gorgeous .” Evie smiled sitting Soph on her knee.

“Doesn’t mummy look pretty Soph.” Evie said into Soph’s ear. I smiled and walked closer to them. “Mum and dad would be so proud to see you like this.”

“Thank you.” I smiled pulling her into a hug. I really did love my sister with all my heart. As much as she hurt me with everything that happened with Dan, I could never cut her out of my life. I needed her too much, she was the other half of me.

At twenty to one we set off for the church. All the bridesmaid’s getting into a limo whilst me, Evie, Soph and TJ went into the wedding car.

We arrived at the church with five minutes to spare, but once all the photographs were taken I was ten minutes late. I could imagine Dan pacing the front of the church panicking that I wasn’t coming making me smile.

Luke had asked me after Dan and I had got engaged if he would get the honour of walking me down the aisle, like Dan did with Evie. So once we were all inside ready to go, Luke came through the doors and stood by my side.

“You ready ?” he smiled at me

“Yea…I can’t wait.”

I watched as Megan and Katy walked down the aisle first followed by Ruby and Paige. Courtney and Erin followed them before Evie…who was walking down with TJ and Soph, she was slowly wobbling down the aisle, stumbling a few times but getting back up again. I watched as they got closer to the front Soph was trying to walk as fast as she could. Dan had bent down, holding his arms out to her with a huge grin on his face. As she reached him, he scooped her up into his arms covering her with kisses causing her giggles to fill the church before passing her to Evie. The music then changed to the wedding march and Luke and I began our slow walk towards the front of the church. “You look stunning today Liv. Just beautiful.” Luke whispered down my ear. I turned to look at him and smiled gratefully, “Thanks Luke”

As I looked straight down to the front of the church, I could see Dan smiling at me. The second I locked eyes with him my nerves vanished…I could see all the love and adoration he had for me gleaming in his eyes.

Finally, after what felt like forever, I was standing between Dan and Luke. Luke kissed my cheek and then progressed to stand next to Dan. Dan looked over at me and smiled a beautiful smile and held my hands. My breath caught in my throat and I could feel tears forming in my eyes. I blinked them away and took a deep breath, turning to face the vicar as he stood in front of us. I couldn’t even begin to process how handsome he looked, the butterflies were flying around my stomach thinking about later on when I got to take it off him. He just looked so sexy in a tux.

The service went smoothly without any hiccups at all; we made it short and sweet as I know people can get bored. I’ve been to weddings myself that have lasted over an hour and they’ve been some of the most boring hours of my life.

We sung a few hymns and then had Dan’s brother Conor recite a beautiful poem before we got to our vows. Then before I knew it Dan’s lips were pressed on mine, I was now Mrs Sutton. I couldn’t believe it had finally happened.

We went to the very front of the church to sign to register with Evie and Luke as they were our witnesses. I was beaming from ear to ear as we walked down the aisle and through the front doors. After loads of pictures and being covered in confetti, Me and Dan got ushered into the wedding car that would take us to our reception. Dan’s mum was watching Soph for us so that we would be able to enjoy each other today without worrying about what she was doing.

Sitting in the back of the car feeding each other strawberries as we drank champagne was so romantic. I couldn’t wait to send the rest of my life with this man.

“I love you Mrs Sutton” Dan grinned kissing me gently.

“I love you more Mr Sutton”

For our wedding reception we had hired out a huge marquee like Evie and Luke had for theirs, but we were having it in a huge field.

I was having the time of my life, everyone says it’s the happiest day of your life and it really was…apart from the day our Soph was born. I spent the first forty five minutes at our reception talking to friends and family, some members of Dan’s family I never knew existed. Eventually getting to sit down with my husband at the top table, we finally had some time to ourselves before our food arrived. Once everything was cleared up, champagne was brought round to everyone before the toasts began. Evie and Luke giving their best man and maid of honour speeches before Siobhan asked to have the mike. I knew she was going to make me cry with her words. She was like my second mum along with Luke’s. And I was right; Siobhan hadn’t even got two sentences in before I felt myself reaching for a tissue to wipe away my tears. Ending her speech with a toast to us, she raised her glass and the whole room followed “To Dan and Liv. May their lives be filled with love and happiness.”

“To Dan and Liv.” Everyone cheered

As the night do kicked off, the DJ began playing some songs to get everyone up on the dance floor. I was mingling amongst the guests getting introduced to more of Dan’s family and getting re-acquainted with old friends.

“Please may the bride and groom make their way to the dance floor for their first dance.” The DJ announced. I walked over to the dance floor to be met by Dan smiling away at me.

I wrapped my arms around his neck as his went around my waist pulling me closer to him as the beautiful melody of ‘Amazed.’ By Lonestar fill the room.

I placed my head on Dan’s shoulder as we slowly moved around the dance floor. I felt his hand slowly stroke down my back making me look up at him. I leant in and pressed me lips against his before he began to sing the words quietly down my ear. I wrapped my arms tighter around his neck as shivers took over my body. I felt as if the whole room vanished and there was only the two of us here.

All too soon our song was over, and I didn’t want to leave Dan’s arms. We shared an intimate, passionate kiss before pulling away and gazing into each other’s eyes. The next song played was ‘Where ever you will go’ by Charlene Soraia. Feeling someone tap me on my shoulder, I glanced behind me to see Dan’s dad standing there. “May I have this dance?” he smiled and I nodded. “Of course.”

Taking his hand I began dancing away with my father-in-law, looking across the dance floor to see Dan dancing with his mum. I know tradition is meant to be I dance with my dad and Dan with my mum but as unfortunate circumstances go, that couldn’t happen. Over the next hour I think I danced with every male in the party apart from my husband. Wandering around the room I tried looking for him but not getting anywhere. I headed back to our table when I spotted him on the edge of the dance floor, with Soph in his arms dancing away with her.

Feeling the biggest smile burst onto my face I made my way over to them. “Hey baby.” Dan grinned as he caught sight of me.

“Hey husband.” I smiled kissing him gently

“I don’t think I’ve told you enough today how gorgeous you look or how much I love you.”

“You have but thank you.” I beamed wrapping an arm around his waist.

“Mummy looks beautiful doesn’t she munchkin.” Dan whispered to Soph and then nodded her head. Dan moved Soph to his hip before wrapping his other arm around me. I wrapped one around his neck and the other round Soph. I actually couldn’t be happier.

Soph was spending the next week with Dan’s mum and dad’s so that me and Dan could enjoy our honeymoon together. We were spending a week together in the Maldives. The wedding didn’t cost as much as we had thought, so we used the extra money for a more luxurious honeymoon.

At one in the morning the party was over, most of the guests had left already. There were a few who wanted to keep the party going so they took the party back to Luke and Evie’s. Luckily Luke’s parents were on Grandparent duties like Dan’s so they could let their hair down as well.

Interlinking our fingers we made our way to our wedding car that was taking us to our honeymoon suit for the night before we left on our honeymoon tomorrow afternoon. Dan's dad had checked us in this morning so all we had to do was head up to our room. We barely made it through the door before pulling at each other.

I was now sandwiched between the bedroom door and Dan who was currently pushing his body against mine. Cupping my face in his hands he sweetly smiled at me before kissing me. "I can't believe we're finally married.”

“I know, finally.” I whispered gently stroking behind his ear like he always loved.

Moving my hands to his shoulders they slowly removed his jacket. Dan removed his arms from it before throwing it onto the chair beside him. His dickie-bow was already un-dun around his neck as were the first few buttons. Kissing down his neck I began undoing the rest of the buttons. My fingers tracing his abs as I finally undid them all…my lips following. I kissed back up his body, seeing his eyes closed as he bit down on his plump pink bottom lip, clearly enjoying what I was doing to him. As I kissed his lips, Dan shrugged off his shirt allowing it to fall to the floor before he began working on my dress. Running my hands up his tanned toned back, I could feel his muscles rippling under my fingers. His lips began slowly moving up my neck before leaving a trail of steamy kisses along my jaw line then attaching themselves to mine. His taste was like no other, I swear I could kiss him forever and damn, I would sure as hell try.

Dan’s fingers stroked down my bare back, following my zip. My dress soon landed at a pile around my feet and I slipped off my heels. Pushing Dan slightly backwards so that I could step away from my dress. I was soon turned around and I felt my bum hit the desk. I slowly ran my toe up the inside of Dan’s leg as he continued to assault my lips and neck with hot tantalising kisses. Grabbing my arse, he effortlessly lifted me up wrapping my legs around his waist.

I was soon placed on the bed, Dan leaning over me. His eyes raking up and down my body, I could see the love in his eyes for me but also that cheeky glint that told me I was in for a night of pleasure beyond my wildest dreams. “You are so sexy Mrs Sutton” Dan grinned, his hand tracing over my chest and down my stomach to my lacy knickers.

“Right back at you Mr Sutton” I grinned running my hands down his toned six pack and to the belt on his tight black pants. I sat up on the edge of the bed un-doing them and letting them fall to the floor, leaving us now both in our underwear. I’ve never seen anyone wear tight white boxers like Dan could. I shimmied up the bed so that my head was resting on the plump feather pillows as Dan quickly crawled on top of me crushing his lips onto mine as his hands wreaked havoc on my body.

Rolling over so that I was lay directly over him. Bending my knees I sat up on his crotch, Dan moving with me so our lips never parted. Unclipping my bra effortlessly, Dan slipped it down my arms...once of my body it was flung to the other side of the room. “Won’t be needing that now.” He chuckled and I shook my head before his hands reached up to my chest, causing my head to fling backwards as he almost pushed me over the edge. Leaning back over him our lips met briefly before I pulled away but still only having millimetres between us, toying with him just made everything more exciting. I could feel his heavy breath on my lips, and could see the cheeky grin appear as he realised I was teasing him.

Attacking my neck with hot kisses as his hand teased the inside of my thigh... Feeling his fingers slide over the fabric of my knickers sent my body into spasm, pulling his lips onto mine with a fiery passion I needed him now. Quickly removing my knickers...my breathing became heavy and ragged as he pleasured me. Once I had finished I flipped him over and before he could say anything I had pulled down his boxers.

I kissed down his body before dipping below his waistline. I gave him a cheeky wink before I began to pleasure him. His hands running through my long blonde hair as his breathing quickened.

Before he could finish he pulled me up and hit my lips with a kiss that made my body feel weak. Gasping for breath as he rolled us over, he gently pushed my knees apart lying between my legs. “I love you Tink…so much.”

“I love you more Dan.” I panted, our eyes locked as he slowly pushed himself into me as we made love on our wedding night. A night that wouldn’t be repeated for the rest of our lives, considering I was planning on being married to Dan forever.

Everything had been perfect today, there’s not many times in your life when you can say ‘that was perfect’ but this was definitely one of them moments.

Everything in my life was incredible, I had the most romantic and loving husband I could ever imagine and a daughter I could only describe as a gorgeous gift from heaven. Life was great and I knew with Dan and Sophia in my life it always would be. I was a very lucky girl.
